Night eventually arrived.
At Scarlet Pavilion, a large bonfire crackled beneath the dark sky. Orange flames danced upward while sparks drifted into the air before disappearing among countless stars. Groups of disciples and participants sat together around the fire, discussing everything from politics and cultivation to tournament results and beautiful women.
Wrynn Dawn sat among one such group. He is the same archer who fought Kiara when she came to House Dawn to fight in her helicopter.
Unfortunately for him, the topic continuously returned to Kiara.
"Senior, I still can't believe you fought her and survived," a younger disciple exclaimed with admiration. "I mean, if even half the rumors are true, then she's someone who killed a Legendary Realm expert."
Wrynn Dawn immediately frowned.
He had no interest in hearing praise directed toward Kiara.
Especially not after everything that had happened.
