Chapter 229 - Is Aaron Really a Celestial?

Aaron waved his hand, signaling Thena to come over. He placed his hand on Thena's forehead.

The latter's face flushed slightly, feeling that this Celestial was too "human-like." That large hand seemed to possess infinite magical power.

It caused a slight ripple in the calm heart of Thena, the female warrior.

Moreover, her mind was calmer when she was beside Aaron, and the strange memories that caused her constant headaches also settled down for once.

"Your condition is a bit complex, and it will take some time to handle."

As soon as Aaron spoke, Thena's eyebrows lifted in delight.

Ajak, standing nearby, suggested, "Since Lord Celestial can cure Thena's problem, why not let Thena stay by your side during Lord Celestial's time on Earth?"

"With Lord Celestial present, even if Thena has an episode, it can be suppressed immediately, and her Mahd Wy'ry can be treated."

"Thena, what do you think?"

Aaron originally just wanted to watch the show, but since Ajak made this suggestion, he was even more indifferent.

Thena only hesitated for a moment before smiling and nodding. "Then, Lord Celestial, I will trouble you during this time."

The hesitation was not because Thena had other thoughts, but because she was considering whether she would disturb Aaron.

Gilgamesh, standing nearby, opened his mouth, but ultimately remained silent.

Why did he have the illusion of personally sending Thena to another man?

Wait, he and Thena had no relationship, and if the other party was a Celestial...

Thinking about it, he felt much more comfortable.

Nothing will happen, right?

He subconsciously ignored the information he had searched about Aaron before coming, afraid to face that truth.

Looking at the smiling Thena, Gilgamesh silently sent his blessings.

After all, he had thought about it for so many years and still hadn't found a solution, he was simply useless.

Seeing that Thena's matter was perfectly resolved, Ajak breathed a sigh of relief.

This hurdle was barely passed.

But what about next?

Thinking about the future fate of the Eternals, Ajak couldn't help but feel heartbroken.

Considering that Thena would be by Aaron's side, perhaps she could do something to change their future?

Ajak could only think this way.

After extracting the Eternals' abilities and gaining a bonus gift, Aaron sent Ajak and the others away.

Talking too much would easily expose him.

He didn't know more information about the Celestials.

Later, when he devours Tiamut, these Eternals might even fight him to the death.

Ikaris would definitely come to fight him anyway.

As for Thena...

Aaron was confident he could completely cure (subdue) her.

Mahd Wy'ry?

Is that even a problem?

After bidding farewell to the heavy-hearted Eternals, Aaron brought Thena home.

"Lord Celestial, what do I need to do next?" Thena asked nervously.

Aaron thought for a moment and asked, "What can you do?"

Thena pondered, then said awkwardly, "Sorry, I can only fight, my close combat skills are very good."

Aaron said meaningfully, "Is that so? Then I'll look forward to it."

Meanwhile, on the other side.

Ikaris and Sersi surrounded Ajak, wanting to find out any information she might be hiding.

But at this moment, Druig, who had been observing the situation indifferently, slowly spoke, "Don't you think it's strange?"

"Hmm?"

"A Celestial... also looks for women?"

Gilgamesh subconsciously retorted, "Druig, what are you trying to say? How can we understand what a Celestial wants to do?"

Druig looked at him with sympathetic eyes, "Perhaps I'm overthinking, but I'm very curious why a Celestial would take human form and come to Earth."

"With the values of Celestials and humans, they wouldn't do such a thing, would they? That's the great Celestials."

"Ajak, can you provide us with an answer?"

Ajak could naturally deduce the answer.

The Aaron Industries founded by Aaron, and the newborn package it launched, was the perfect answer. But she couldn't say it.

She still needed to think about how to come clean with her companions.

"Druig, are you questioning the identity of the Celestial?" Ajak's expression turned slightly cold.

Druig shook his head. "Of course not, but I am questioning you."

"Enough, Druig. Remember, I am the leader recognized by the Prime Celestial."

Ajak didn't want to answer and used her trump card.

Druig's expression changed. "Alright, you still want to hide it from us? Ajak, you will regret this."

Ajak was silent.

She glanced at Aaron's villa.

"Let's go, we'll be in New York for a while, Lord Celestial might need us."

The other Eternals looked at each other.

Although they were all very confused internally, no matter what, Ajak was their leader.

The Prime Celestial was right above their heads.

"Daily Bugle: Shocking! Senator Rudolph's head is still missing, the Headless Maniac is suspected to have appeared around A.I.M., New York Police Director George Stacy stated that the culprit will be brought to justice as soon as possible! (Personally, I think they are wasting taxpayers' money!)"

"Horrifying! Fisk Group was tragically looted by the Headless Maniac and another mysterious force, resulting in over thirty casualties. Is this the distortion of human nature, or the decay of morality? Please allow Hammer Industries CEO Justin Hammer to introduce the latest security product—the Micro Missile System!"

"Famous entrepreneur Mr. Wilson Grant Fisk offered a reward of 100 million U.S. dollars for the Headless Maniac's head!"

"International Daily: A major terrorist attack has occurred in the Sokovia region, several mercenary organizations have been tragically attacked by an unknown force. The United Nations has unanimously decided to dispatch peacekeeping forces to Sokovia to work for world peace!"

"Latest News! The Headless Maniac broke into the A.I.M. building last night, but has now been jointly expelled by A.I.M. security and the police. Mr. Stacy stated that a dragnet has been laid, and the Headless Maniac will receive due punishment!"

After sending the Eternals away, Aaron began to browse the important news that had happened recently.

When he saw these familiar names, he instantly understood that the Symbiote Squad and Erik were strictly following his list.

Rudolph had already reported to Hell.

Kingpin Group suffered heavy losses, and reliable sources indicated that they lost at least hundreds of millions of U.S. dollars in arms and white powder, as well as corresponding payments.

The mercenary organizations in Sokovia had also given up.

Only A.I.M., suspected to be 'Ten Rings', and Hydra remained.

He glanced at the time.

Aaron frowned slightly. "The Symbiote Squad's operation tonight failed?"

Thinking about it carefully, it seemed quite reasonable. Athough Venom and the others were powerful and not afraid of ordinary firearms, they were weak to fire and sound waves, as well as large-caliber firepower, such as rocket launchers.

If someone with a keen eye discovered their weakness and prepared accordingly, these eleven Symbiotes simply couldn't stir up any trouble.

A.I.M. was different from other organizations. Its founder, Killian, developed the Extremis virus.

This virus was a super serum developed based on the Super Soldier Serum, combined with plant cell regeneration mechanisms, possessing super healing, physical enhancement, and high-temperature manipulation.

After injecting this serum, one not only possesses Captain America-level physique but can also generate thousands of degrees Celsius of high temperature, enough to melt most metals. They can even conduct heat through contact or breathe fire.

Strictly speaking, Extremis Soldiers injected with the Extremis virus are the bane of Symbiotes.

If a Symbiote dares to get close, it will suffer continuous damage from thousands of degrees of high temperature.

Task failure was not unacceptable.

Thinking of this, Aaron's brows relaxed.
