Chapter 228 - Mahd Wy'ry

The other Eternals arrived one after another.

Gilgamesh, Thena, Kingo and his assistant Karun, Eros, Phastos, Makkari, and Druig.

A group of seven people arrived with unease.

When they saw the expressions on Ajak and the others' faces, their hearts tightened even further.

Something big had happened!

"He is a Celestial? I didn't expect Mr. Miracle of Aaron Industries to be the Celestial you speak of."

"This is truly incredible!"

Kingo's assistant, Karun, shook his head and swayed, his posture extremely exaggerated.

Ikaris frowned and looked over. "Kingo, who is he? What right does he have to be here?"

Although Kingo highly praised himself, Ikaris still didn't give him a good look.

Karun saw Ikaris's fierce gaze and immediately shut his mouth.

"He's my assistant. When Ajak contacted me, he was with me. Because time was short, I brought him along."

Under pressure from Ikaris's strength, Kingo quickly explained.

But Ikaris still didn't have a good expression.

"Lord Celestial, please forgive my reckless behavior."

Seeing this, Kingo could only look toward Aaron, the one in charge.

Karun also looked timidly toward Mr. Miracle. He knew that a single word from the other party could determine his life or death.

Aaron waved his hand dismissively. He wasn't the Celestials they understood, like Ajak. He just wanted to reap some benefits.

Seeing Aaron act this way, Kingo breathed a sigh of relief.

Ikaris lost his reason to react aggressively.

"Lord Celestial, all members of the Ajak Squad greet you." Ajak said with a forced smile, but anyone could tell she was preoccupied.

The newly arrived Eternals realized that the conversation between the two parties had not been pleasant during their absence.

Meanwhile, Ikaris and the others who had been present were even more confused and bewildered, they truly didn't understand.

Aaron nodded, still maintaining a serious expression.

After scanning everyone, he used the same method to acquire all the abilities of the remaining Eternals.

Only Makkari sensed something in the area. Her ability was Super Speed, and her neural reaction speed was very fast. But she only vaguely sensed an abnormality and couldn't consciously perceive Aaron's movements.

No matter how fast her perception was, it wasn't as fast as Aaron's.

Aaron's reaction speed in his normal state could operate at superluminal speed, approaching sub-light speed.

Once he used the Super-Dimensional Body, meaning a non-material existence, his reaction speed could reach Planck Time.

This was Quantum Reaction Speed!

His dynamic vision could capture objects moving at the speed of light and he could calculate the lead time, predicting attacks as if he were clairvoyant.

Makkari's reaction speed was like child's play in his eyes, posing no threat whatsoever.

Makkari felt that the previous instant was an illusion and quickly dismissed it.

Several streaks of flowing light surged.

The Primordial Furnace extracted everyone's abilities in an instant.

(Energy Shapeshifting: Similar ability detected (Necrosword). Fusion completed. You can freely convert energy into various energy weapons, possessing their corresponding characteristics.]

[Rampage Burning: Similar ability detected and fusion completed. You can mobilize vast energy to temporarily strengthen your physical power, thereby unleashing millions of times the destructive force.]

[Energy Control: Similar ability detected and fusion completed. You can manipulate any type of Cosmic Energy in the Real Universe, utilizing or absorbing it.]

Oh wow, the abilities are quite good.

Aaron was slightly surprised.

These abilities were much stronger than their originals.

Especially Rampage Burning.

Aaron's current strength primarily comes from his evolved basic physical stats, plus the tenfold increase in basic physique brought by [Limit Breakthrough], and the twentyfold increase in arm and leg strength.

If he were to use [Rampage Burning], integrating the energy of hundreds of millions of Universes...

Aaron dared not imagine how terrifying he would be at that point.

Shatter the Multiverse with a single punch?

After thinking carefully, Aaron felt that perhaps the Multiverse would be destroyed, but his own body would also collapse.

Death?

Probably not.

He possessed Transcendent Memory and Phasing.

He could exempt his consciousness from that destructive force just as his body collapsed and his soul is destroyed.

Then, he could find an opportunity for rebirth.

But—

Aaron was not a masochist.

Burning out his life for a single strike, just to perish alongside his opponent?

He decided against it.

However, this meant that if he unleashed his full power now, he could contend with Multiverse-level beings.

Of course, at his level, trying to kill each other was inherently an almost impossible task.

Experts at this level fundamentally possessed their own trump cards. Only by finding the opponent's weakness and launching a fatal blow could they be completely eradicated.

Or, by forcibly erasing them at a higher conceptual level. That would require an existence on the level of the true forms of the Abstract Entities.

Yet, how vast was the power Aaron commanded?

Trying to target his weakness and eliminate him?

That possibility was too slim.

At the very least, those Dimensional Rulers could just go wash up and sleep.

"Lord Celestial..."

At this moment, Gilgamesh cautiously stepped forward, pleadingly asking, "Could you take a look at Thena?"

"According to Ajak, she suffers from Mahd Wy'ry, and we have searched for many methods, but none can cure her symptoms."

"Celestial, can you help her?"

Thena looked nervously toward Aaron.

After receiving the Celestial's message, they had considered this possibility. Although the chances of success were slim, Thena still decided to try.

As a powerful warrior of the Eternals, second only to Ikaris, she could definitely be counted as a Valkyrie.

Possessing powerful combat skills and superb combat awareness, in terms of strength, she was not a weakling.

She was unwilling to be troubled by Mahd Wy'ry for the rest of her life and become useless.

Ajak opened her mouth, wanting to speak but holding back.

Then, Ajak gritted her teeth and said, "Enough. Lord Celestial is busy with missions. Thena's matter can be considered after we return to Olympia."

Hearing this, Gilgamesh couldn't say anything.

Celestials were very busy creating worlds. But Thena was somewhat unwilling. She stubbornly looked at Aaron.

Aaron glanced over Ajak and Thena, raising an eyebrow.

Of course, he knew why Ajak was so flustered. Thena's Mahd Wy'ry was actually a mental disorder caused by the accumulation of too many memories.

Ajak had explained to everyone that it was a disease caused by Thena living for too long. However, the reality was that it was Thena's memories from her previous life acting up. Those memories were not from this current life, and they clashed with her present memories. This made her unable to distinguish reality.

Consequently, she experienced confusion of will and an inability to distinguish friend from foe.

Clearly, Arishem the Judge might have been distracted when clearing Thena's memories, causing a slight error in the experiment.

The Celestials were not omnipotent, they also made mistakes.

For instance, the creation of the Eternals was intended to deal with the Celestials' other creation, the Deviants. After the latter developed self-awareness, they began slaughtering the Celestials' creations.

Aaron maliciously speculated that this might have been intentional on Arishem the Judge's part.

Perhaps this Prime Celestial wanted to see if the Eternals, who possessed fragments of their previous life's memories, had the potential for betrayal and then further refine this race.

Even Ajak's situation might have been within his expectations.

In any case, no one knew what Arishem the Judge was truly thinking.

Perhaps, it really was just a mistake?

Ajak was so flustered precisely because she was worried that the true nature of the so-called Mahd Wy'ry would be discovered.

If it were any other Celestial, they might cooperate with Ajak after examining Thena's condition. But Aaron didn't care about all that.
