Chief researcher for test subject: Dr Bernet, golden yellow ranger, chief commander of ranger force home defence, expansion and research departments. If you are reading this then you are either very brave or suicidal. Assuming I'm not dead this document is for my personal use only. Anyways! Audrey actually got him! The subject (hence force regarded as the eighth) was expected to effortlessly kill everyone sent. But my original plan to use them to scout the eighth's abilities proved unnecessary. The eighth willingly gave himself over to custody and has been moved to cell 1087. Of course this is incredibly suspicious but with his biological weapon confiscated I've decided to bring him in for study. Blood samples have confirmed that he has undergone the same metamorphosis I and six other have. Every cell is is like a replica of the planets own complex flame. Of course if your reading this you wouldn't know what that is so I won't bother giving it a scientific name. You can refer to the old files on project prophet if you really need to, but this things are super dusty. I really need to back those up at some point… what was I talking about? Oh right! The eighth has shown no signs of resistance or discomfort since arrival, even after being exposed to my very own atlasite. This is the main area I wish to study. For all intents and purposes, the eighth is now a human looking Kaiju, not just a Kaiju child. That's what the metamorphosis is at its most basic. Even when he isn't in his true form he should still exhibit the same sensory attacks as any other Kaiju in the presence of atlasite. My working theory is that his metamorphosis wasn't completely like ours. He can only access the full power under certain conditions like his other abilities. This would suggest that there's a tangible divide between these two states. Which of course also suggests they can be separated. The alteration of the planet's natural laws has noticeably slowed down since he returned to his Kaiju child passing appearance. I'm obviously tempted to move him immediately on to the weapon conversion program but more data needs to be collected first. Of course we don't have you usual luxury of taking our time here. At the current rate of alteration the natural laws will become irreparable in one weeks time. So constant suppression of excessive actions are crucial. I will arrange to move him to a specialised cell with minimal food and water. Once the eighth is sufficiently pacified we can commence with testing in full. I do not want to risk getting close to the eighth myself, I have no data on if the two of us being near one another would affect the change. With this in mind I will be entrusting the eighths detainment to newly dubbed green golden ranger David wittlesfield. He was originally going to be my new red but the related equipment was all stolen somehow by our formerly very own Satoshi onizuka. Recovering these lost assets have unfortunately been a low priority as of late. But I can guess this uncharacteristic display of treason is because he somehow found out that we repurposed his mother's equipment. But it is irrelevant as of now, the ranger force has almost completed its purpose. Ever since I took over I've had to use my abilities less and less. I have only transformed twice in the past, once to personally dispose of zeta team and much more recently in a battle against Louhi. Bit off topic but god I hate her. I'll move this to the 'Louhi die!' Pile later. Like seriously, all of this is her fault! She didn't even bother to fight me the first time we met! The completely destroyed my families status and didn't even bother to finish the job! She owes everything to my family, we're the reason she exists in the first place! And not only that, she made me impure! I already had to live with being a kaiju child and all the disappointment from grandmother that entailed. But ever since I met her in person I've become even further removed from my humanity. But when I discovered the new ranger force director had a passing resemblance to me I knew how to fix everything. Killing her was easy enough, disrupting the brain's electrical signals isn't difficult after all, at least when done to a human. The real hard part was having to play up being a ditzy scientist who was away from base most of the time. I styled my hair all messy like her and made sure to were clothes that completely covered any sign that I was a kaiju child. And it more or less worked, most people didn't notice that I was a few years too young as she was a prodigy already. So I was free to use them to my hearts content in obliterating every single witch. But this has kinda stopped being about the eighth hasn't it? If this glorified diary got out it would cause a lot of problems. But of course it doesn't matter anymore does it? In one week the world either ends or I kill ours families greatest blight. I don't need to live on after that. So with that in mind I think I'll actually keep this file around, so congratulations to whoever's reading this. I'm not going to kill you! Hooray! By the time you read this I think you'll need it to realise what I am. After all, I've built the largest human rights violation in human history, I really don't think being a kaiju could make me any less of a monster. But there was something about that last subjects death that pissed me off for some reason. Something about 'being a man' and facing him. He proved far too lively for experiments. Maybe that's why I'm being so careless now.
