Andrew didn't bother responding back as his footsteps faded once more. 'I can't believe that Andrew actually kidnapped me and is keeping me here. It's been a couple of days and yet my father hasn't found me.' Her face darkened as she looked at the heart that seem to look back at her. 'Maybe he must have killed my father for him to not have found me.'
Her throat began to tighten as her heart beat began to sky rocket. 'There's no way that Andrew would do something like that… would he?' She had thought that she had perfect control over Andrew, akin to a child with their toy but out of the blue Andrew had turned on her and here she was, captured and forced to eat human hearts.
*A day later*
Brittany was now curled up in a ball, her face masked with her eyes sore from crying. Her figure would let out wheezes and sniffles that were met with silence aside from the faint buzzing of the fluorescent light in her room. 'Does he actually plan on killing me here?' Her mind couldn't help but wonder, Andrew hadn't made a visit and from the way matters were developing, it didn't seem like he had any intentions of intervening.
'He really is going to let me die in here with a rotting human heart as company.' Her fingers dug into her palms before another reality hit her.
*Growl*
Her stomach growling filling up the air that forced her to look back at the heart. With four days without eating or drinking, she wasn't sure if she would see another day. 'I can't believe that he's forcing me to do this.' Her teeth gritting, her figure radiating confidence and ignorance was now reduced to a haggard and malnourished body.
She crawled to the heart, a part of her revolted with the fact of eating it and another part of her wishing to satiate her hunger and thirst. She grabbed the heart that was halfway through rotting, strange black and green molds forming all over it. "Urghh!!" Closing her eyes, she forced herself to bite down and the wet squelching of meat filled the air. Her face showed a look of grimace before coughing up the heart.
'No! I would rather die than engage in his game!' She announced in her head as she weakly threw the heart across the room "If you think that your experiment of making me feel sorry for the people I've killed is working then I have news for you! I would rather die of starvation than eat what that abomination you have given me!" She spat the chunk of flesh onto the ground before crawling back to her bed.
. . .
"Andrew, for how long will she be here?" Lara asked as she had dinner with Andrew. "Till she eats every heart that we have." His voice flat as he dug into her meal. Lara was made aware of Brittany's captivity which shocked her at the time. "With how stubborn she is, it seems like she really would rather die than actually eat the hearts! We should just let her out or give her normal food." Her voice low as if scared of offending Andrew. "She's bluffing, she'll eat the hearts whether she likes it or not."
His insistence made a shiver run down her spine. 'To think that Andrew would be capable of such violence and cruelty like this.' Her mind wondered as she stole glances at Andrew who was engorged in his meal. 'Makes me wonder what other acts he has done with that expressionless face of his.' Her knuckles turned white as she forced herself to eat before the image of the hearts soiled her appetite. "I don't think I'm in the mood to eat Andrew. You wouldn't mind if we…did that again?"
Andrew done with his meal put both their dishes away. "With how frequent you have been asking me, it's clear that it's getting worse as I had warned you. Do you want to take that bath I had suggested?" She immediately shook her head and Andrew didn't push her any further as the two made their way to the bathroom upstairs in his room and Lara had her fill of his blood.
'This isn't working. Sure it gets rid of the head ache short term but this happens way too frequently.' She mused with her lips on Andrew's lips, sucking his blood before catching a glimpse of herself on the mirror. 'To think that this I what I have become, a person who is sucking Andrew's blood so shamelessly.' A choking guilt formed which made her lose her interest in continuing any further.
"That's enough for the night. I'm good." A small smile formed on her face however Andrew' s words shattered her smile. "Your body is burning up, it's time to take that bath already Lara. It will only get worse from here." With a determined look on her face, she stepped back from his. "I'm sure of what I'm doing Andrew, I can bear it."
Andrew let her off, cleaning his wrist before making his way to his bed. Licking his blood of her lips, she bid him goodbye before making her way to her room. It was huge and the silence that came with it something she had yet to get used to.'I still can't believe that I'm living in a place like this. It's like those houses I would see on movies but nothing about this brings me any form of happiness.'
Her small smile replaced with a frown and a sigh before she forced herself to sleep. Fifteen minutes later, she shot up wide awake, her body now burning up. 'I can't sleep like this.' She mused heading into the bathroom and turned on the shower. Water cascaded down her back but did nothing to cool her off which further infuriated her.
'As much as I would hate to admit this looks like I do have to bathe in his blood.' Her jaw tightening as she sneaked her way to his room. "Andrew? Are you asleep?" Her whisper attracting his attention. "Yes Lara? What is it that you require?" She inched closer to his bed, her temperament unsure of what to say. "I…. you said about me needing a bath and know I'm ready for it. But if you want to keep on sleeping we could do it when you wake up."
Andrew rose to his feet and made his way to the bathtub which inwardly made her smile. "This could take longer than you think." He said, his blood pouring into the tub in shocking amounts and in ten minutes the marble tub was full. He excused himself leaving her with the blood and reality of what she had to do. 'I still can't believe that I'm doing this but my body won't let me sleep so I have no other choice.'
Her night gown fell to the floor as she first took a sample with her finger. 'I still can't believe that this is his blood.' The intoxicating effects clouding her mind before she forced herself into the bath. She started with her toes before she plunged her entire body into the tub. "Ahhh!" A moan of euphoria left her lips subconsciously as she let her body soak his blood. She felt the heat in her body dissipate within the blood and at times she would drink his blood.
Before she knew it, she fell asleep in his blood, a look of ecstasy on her face. Andrew walked in and examined her figure, with no malicious intent before pouring more of his blood into the tub till it overflowed. His apathetic gaze shifted into that of mild curiosity as changes began to happen all over Lara's figure. Her hair the usual short silky brown now began to shift into a lifeless and ash color. Black fluids began to flow out of her body and staining the blood she was in, before Andrew's blood dissolved the filth.
The process went on for hours, in Lara's mind however was another altercation unfolding.
. . .
Lara was back in the white void in her mind, the black door was now gone replaced with a black rift that seemed out of place. She approached it, her steps measured and as if sensing her getting closer the black rift began to stretch wider and wider in the white void. Looking through the black rift, what Lara saw was nothingness, the same she had seen when looking through the black door the first time she was here. Even though she stopped, the cracks only got bigger and bigger, with other smaller ones forming alongside the main one that kept on stretching upwards to no end.
The process to her felt like an eternity till she couldn't identify the end and the beginning of the black rift. 'Should I try walking into it to leave? That was how I managed to leave the last time.' A thought echoed through the space rather than her mind which startled her. 'Looks like I do have some connection with this place somehow. She looked at her hands in which white silky threads began to emerge.
A frown stretched across her face as she wished for the threads to cease. However the more she wished for them to stop, more began to come out of not only her hands but also her torso as well. 'What is happening to me?' The voice boomed all around her as worry began to etch itself on her face. 'Maybe Andrew has a way to solve this!' She began to rush to the black rift that kept on expanding not just vertically but horizontally as well, the ends of both sides surpassing Lara's vision.
With each step she took, more silky threads would emerge out of her pores which hindered her speed.
*Thud*
Stepping on one of them, she slipped onto the floor however no pain assaulted her as she had expected. 'Looks like I can't feel pain while I'm here.' A small smile flickered on her lips before she pursed them and crawled her way to the rift. By now her figure was less humanoid and more of a white ball of silk trying to reach the black rift. 'Damn it!" She cursed as the silk exuding out of her pores had formed a ball which prevented her from walking.
'Am I trapped in here forever?' She wondered as her vision was obstructed by the white silk which ended up blocking her vision. She waited and waited till the black rift expanded to the point where it swallowed her in her ball like state thrusting her back into the real world.
"Gah!" She broke into short gasps as her vision still in the dark which concerned her as she thought she had yet to leave the white void before she realized that she was in some form of casket. The material wasn't hard enough and with some punches she tore through the material filling her vision with light that momentarily blinded her. "URGH!" She cursed, blocking her eyes before her eyes adjusted to the light which left her speechless.
Andrew's bathroom was full of thread-like structures synonymous with webs made of his blood and she was in some form of cocoon. Tearing her figure free from the blood constituted nest, she fell back into the tub which was now full of black filth which left her gagging as she scrambled to get out. "Looks like you're done." Andrew talked behind her which scared her. "What the fuck happened to me?!" A million questions in her head while Andrew handed her a cup of tea. "You're cured of your headaches as well as awakened into the first league."
A frown formed on her face, the warm tea in her hands. "Make your way down stairs, I'm sure that you must be hungry." She didn't argue despite the questions in her head, the hunger now gnawing on her "You better answer me after I'm done." He didn't turn back to face her as he prepared himself to clean the bathroom, his blood and her filth splattered all over.
