A rich, mouthwatering aroma filled the air.
"Ah, open your mouth."
He picked up a perfectly cooked piece, blew on it lightly, and offered it to Android 18.
Android 18 shot him a sidelong glance but still opened her mouth and accepted it.

"Majin Buu's awake—and he's bullying my not-so-obedient disciple."
Loren stood up, his tone helpless.

No reward.

Besides, if Buu absorbed Goku, Vegeta, and the rest and reached his ultimate form—
That would be even more annoying to deal with.

Loren spoke in his mind.
"I choose Two."
[Ding! Host has completed Choice Two.]
[Reward issued.]
A familiar warm current surged through his entire body.
His power deepened once again.
At the same time, a clear spatial beacon appeared in his mind.

Loren said to Android 18.

Majin Buu tilted his head, curiously examining the sudden intruder.
"Another one?"

Goku's heart leapt into his throat.
"Loren! Be careful! Don't provoke him!"
"Gohan is still in his hands!"
Piccolo shouted anxiously as well.
Still, Loren didn't look at Buu.
He casually stretched his wrists and twisted his neck, producing a series of cracking sounds.
"I'll say this once."
Loren finally spoke.
"Before I make a move, release my disciple."
"Otherwise, things might get… messy."
"Disciple?"
Buu blinked, then looked down at the writhing cocoon.
"This?"
"Yes."
Loren nodded.
"Not fun."
Buu shook his head like a child guarding candy.
"This is Buu's toy."
"Buu is going to… eat him!"
The cocoon suddenly began wriggling faster.
"Ahhh—Master!!"
Gohan's scream echoed once more before his consciousness faded completely.
"Loren! Save Gohan!"
Tears welled up in Goku's eyes.
"Tsk."
The casual look finally vanished from Loren's face.
