While Eugene and Arthur were busy shopping for furniture and a car, four hours away from them, someone else was also busy with something.
Something that Eugene himself would consider more important than the wedding--or even the house. Something he would have done himself if he could. Alas, the circumstances weren't ideal.
Thankfully, he found a willing soldier for a simple payment of a few blind dates, and that soldier was currently looking at Eugene's childhood home from his car.
"How come I only realized now that we had never visited Gabe's house all this time?" Ivan, the soon-to-be-hired private investigator who became a temporary driver for Eliot during this mission, said while peeking through the car window.
"Because he was good at deflection," Elliot shrugged. "Aight--I should go now before they get suspicious."
"I'm going to pray that his dad is the one answering the door," Ivan clasped his hands.
