Chapter 294 - Chapter 294: Orochimaru Newton

Chapter 294: Orochimaru Newton

All crows in the world are generally black, but none as black as Masahiko's face... Very good, it rhymes nicely.

Having finally managed to temporarily calm his emotions, Masahiko looked at Orochimaru, who looked ready to flee at any moment. "Ahem, this old man is the First Clan Head of the Kaguya clan, Kaguya... hmm, Kaguya Ryoma-kun."

"Senior, stop messing around."

"It's over, the jig is up." Masahiko let out a long sigh.

"Don't be in a rush to leave, Orochimaru. I need you for something. Don't worry, I won't hit you."

How could Orochimaru possibly be at ease hearing that?

However, Orochimaru indeed didn't flee immediately. "Senior, did you come to the Mist Village this time for this child?"

Masahiko patted Kimimaro's head and looked 'affectionately' at Orochimaru. "I came for you."

"Senior, I truly have used up all your blood, not a single drop remains."

Masahiko shook his head. Looking at the approaching Mist ninjas surrounding them, he smiled. "Orochimaru, let them witness the true Edo Tensei. Call Madara out and have him beat them up."

Orochimaru was stunned. Only then did he realize Masahiko's true intention, and for a moment, he was speechless.

"Senior, Madara Uchiha's blood is also limited. Aside from what has been used, there is only enough left for one more Edo Tensei."

"I can only beat him up one more time?" Masahiko muttered, feeling dissatisfied.

"God?" Kimimaro asked softly, completely unable to understand their conversation.

Masahiko gently patted him to comfort him. His expression shifted, he exchanged a glance with Orochimaru, and the three of them vanished from the spot.

"No need to pursue!" Ao, who led the surrounding squad, shouted loudly, looking around warily.

From all directions, squads of ninjas appeared. Leading them was the large, fat man, Fuguki Suikazan.

He bounced Samehada in his hand, the flesh on his face trembling.

"Ao, where is Hangetsu Hozuki?!"

"Lord Fuguki, please do not directly address the Fourth Mizukage by name," Ao replied neither humbly nor arrogantly.

"Mizukage? He soon won't be!"

...

In the distance, Masahiko's trio observed from afar.

"The Kaguya clan was used as a suicide squad." Masahiko sighed. "This clan just lacks brains."

Little Kimimaro looked at him in surprise.

Masahiko shook his head gently and reverted to his original appearance. "The Kaguya clan has no God. God belongs to the Uzumaki clan."

Orochimaru secretly curled his lip.

Kimimaro, however, reacted quickly. "God is ever-changing. Was that just one of your transformations earlier? Is this your true appearance now?"

Masahiko's mouth twitched. This level of acceptance... well, it's pretty good.

"That's right, this is my true appearance now."

Kimimaro looked excited, as if seeing Masahiko's true appearance was a great honor.

Orochimaru looked regretful. Such an easy child to abduct, but now he belongs to Masahiko.

In the distance, the internal conflict of the Mist Village had already begun. Following the battle for the Mizukage position, Fuguki Suikazan crossed swords with Hangetsu Hozuki for the second time. This time, there was no 'Asura' to interfere...

"These Kekkei Genkai clans are actually supporting Fuguki Suikazan?" Masahiko shook his head. "Are there still people watching from the sidelines?"

The ninja forces of the Mist Village should definitely exceed these two groups present.

"Senior, are you going to intervene?"

Masahiko shook his head. "I have no mood to help them quell their internal strife."

He glanced at Kimimaro, then at Orochimaru. "My purpose for coming to the Mist Village this time has already been achieved. All that's left is to wait for the dust to settle on the Mizukage position. Whoever becomes Mizukage is the one I'll collect the debt from."

Between Hangetsu Hozuki and Fuguki Suikazan, Masahiko actually slightly favored the big fat man. After all, Hangetsu Hozuki had previously launched a war against the Land of Whirlpools; it was already generous of Masahiko not to slaughter him directly.

Staying behind now, besides collecting debt, was because another person had been added to his little notebook. Every time he came to the Mist Village, he had to take out his little notebook to jot something down. It was the bastard who said earlier, "Do you think he can live until now like that old immortal from the Uzumaki clan"... Masahiko was keeping a close eye on him.

"It seems a lot of people are missing. Yagura shouldn't have died in the war, so he should be a very strong combat force as a perfect Jinchuriki. There's also Mei Terumi, whom I still haven't seen..."

Among the fighting Mist ninjas on the field, aside from Hangetsu Hozuki, Fuguki Suikazan, and Mangetsu Hozuki—who was fighting Kisame and looked relatively familiar—not a single other familiar face from the Mist Village appeared.

"Senior, if there is nothing else, I will take my leave," Orochimaru said hoarsely.

Masahiko was startled. "What's the rush? I said I wouldn't hit you. I only sought you out to have you summon Madara to cure my boredom."

"Senior, there really is only one portion left."

"You don't need to use it anyway. With your current strength, apart from me, no one can do anything to you."

Orochimaru shook his head. "Senior, please be patient. I am currently attempting to clone Madara Uchiha's cells."

"Cloning?" Masahiko was stunned. Orochimaru was already starting to mess with such high-end stuff.

He felt a slight joy in his heart. Perhaps it wouldn't be long before he could beat Madara up once a day...

"Then summon my three disciples to chat with me for a while."

Orochimaru continued to shake his head. "Senior, I did not take the bodily tissues of your three disciples."

"Giving me that much face?" Masahiko was half-believing and half-doubting.

Orochimaru's expression remained unchanged. "I wouldn't dare disturb your disciples' peaceful rest."

"Peaceful rest, huh..." Masahiko sighed. "Then let them rest peacefully."

"Letting them sleep for another ten years is fine too. Having me as a teacher, they must have been quite tired..." Masahiko shook his head and chuckled.

Looking at Orochimaru, aside from the news of possibly 'mass-producing Madara,' finding him this time yielded no other harvest. Masahiko was somewhat dissatisfied.

"Orochimaru, I want to know what power of destiny you found in my blood."

Orochimaru paused. "My coming to the Mist Village was the guidance of destiny."

Masahiko's mouth twitched. How did Orochimaru become like this? Wasn't he the scientist of the Naruto world? Destiny and all that isn't scientific at all... Did he go from scientific exploration to theology?

"You're not Orochimaru, you're Orochimaru Newton, aren't you."

"Newton?" Orochimaru looked bewildered.

Masahiko let out a soft sigh of relief. He thought Orochimaru had obtained his memories from his blood; it seemed he hadn't.

"What exactly is this guidance of destiny?"

"Didn't you come to the Mist Village to find me? Is this not the guidance of destiny?"

Masahiko curled his lip. That's because I know the original story, no one guided me.

"Where is your laboratory? Tell me so I can find you easily. You don't need to hide from me. As long as you don't cause trouble, I won't attack you."

Orochimaru licked his lips and vanished from the spot, leaving only one sentence behind: "Senior, you have already been to my laboratory."

"Been there?" Masahiko was stunned for a long while.

"The one in the Land of Sound? Are you playing 'the most dangerous place is the safest place' with me?" Masahiko didn't know whether to laugh or cry.

"God? What do we do?" Seeing Orochimaru leave, Kimimaro asked softly.

Masahiko turned toward the battlefield, sensed several newly appeared chakras nearby, and smiled faintly.

"A good show is about to start. Let's watch a free grand play..."
