"Ahh so that's the SkullCrown armor huh? Never thought I'd see it in the flesh. Huh, is that Gabriel?" Jian asked.
"Yeah, he's managed to kill almost all the Aqueogons whilst keeping up with Gabriel. It's not like he's trying too hard as well, he's killed about 86 anomalites and 75 soldiers.. I wonder, is that Ruven or is that the SkullCrown's soul?" Adonis asked.
"Well, whatever it is, by the time he's done, I'll have to step in and do something or else he's gonna end up doing something even worse. Adonis, after we get back take away whatever he needs to use the SkullCrown armor, it'll do more bad than good if he keeps using it." Jian said.
Adonis nodded and continued watching the fight.
Ruven or SkullCrown to be exact, was going on a rampage. The armor didn't exactly look like the one in the archives, but the crown on it's head looks the same, seems like it can't change.
Anomalites, Aqueogons were of no difference to him, after all, the owner of the armor was the one to rival Myry Voltius, the leader of the Executioners.
The reason of his death is still shrouded in mystery, but because of Ruven we might get a crew... If we manage to save him that is.
Jian will be able to do it, I believe in it.
In Ruven's head
Agh! My head hurts really bad! Where am I? It's so cold here...
"Ahh, you're awake? I've been waiting long enough." A man behind me said.
"What? Who are you? What is this place?!" I asked.
He looks young, his eyes look empty and full of rage, but he looks like someone who wouldn't give in to rage. He has scars on his face, he must've been in really tough battles.
"Calm down Ruven, one question at a time. This place is the connecting bridge between the armor and your mind. Here we are able to communicate and soon enough, I'll be able to answer all of your questions." He said.
"I see, it's a bit cold here. Anyways, what's happening right now, what happened to my body?" I asked.
"The will of my armor— my soul to be exact, has taken over your body for now. I cannot directly influence your body or your mind, and the armor will come right off once that descendant of Ragnar dies." He said, calmly.
"So that's what the hateful monologue was about, are you taking revenge?" I asked.
"Yes, the Ragnars caused many problems for me. After my fight with Myry Voltius, the fight you see in your dreams, Aeon Ragnar ordered anomalites to take over my body. When a person's body gets taken over by anomalites, the soul of that person is bound to the item he used or loved the most, which in my case is the armor." He answered.
"But why would he do that?" I asked.
"Aeon Ragnar couldn't kill humans directly, if he did, his brothers or in other words, the executioners would surely kill him. He was never one to honor and agreement, and that led to his fall. He studied anomalites in secret and used them to do his bidding. He used my body for that as well. I'll explain everything later, time for you to go back."
"Wha- wait!" I said, before coming back to my senses.
I look around me, nothing but dead bodies.
I look at my bloodstained hands..
"What have I done."

How could I do this??
I killed real VoltenCrowns...
Looking at all the bloodshed, my mind couldn't handle it anymore my vision got blurry, my whole body felt heavy. I was about to be driven mad.
Bam!
Something hit me in the back of my head and knocked me out.
When I opened my eyes, I was inside a room surrounded by faces, familiar and unfamiliar.
Am I just not allowed to live a normal life anymore? It's headaches when I wake up and world ending scenarios when I sleep, the one time I don't get a bad dream is after I've slaughtered so many people...
Might just kill myself before this story does.
I tried to get up but my whole body was sore, I did too much in one day, and I have a feeling it won't be the last.. well, I'll have to make it all work out in these little rest-time I get in-between all the chaos.
But it's strange, all of this happening out of the blue, me finding out that anomalites aren't the only enemies, re-uniting with my friends..
Amidst all this chaos I feel at calm, maybe because it's just starting I guess.
Oh, and I'm currently acting like I'm sleeping. I have been for the past hour. For what? I don't know but I feel the gaze of something waiting for me to wake up and I'm not trying to risk it, I'll just wait for someone familiar to wake me up.
Oh damn, someone just entered the room
"Hey, how's he doing?" Adonis asked.
"He's pretending to be asleep, I'd say he's doing well." A woman said.
Crap, I've been exposed, and what's with that familiar sounding voice?
It can't be her, it definitely can't. She's back home. I'll keep pretending like my life depends on it.
"I see, alright."
He then proceeds to punch me in the stomach.
"OW?! What the hell man?? C'mon I'm in pain let me rest!- Yeah nevermind, you need it more than I do."
I looked at him as he has been plastered and has bandages all over his body. Damn.
More importantly, I looked over to my side, and it looks like I was correct. It was her.
Who is her? Well, she's my mother. To be exact, my foster mother, the one who adopted me when I was young, Evangeline Nightingale.
She's still looking at me with that freakishly loving and soft yet terrorizing smile. I don't need my electrowaves to sense her anger.
"H-hey mom, been a while huh... How's it going.."
"Oh hey honey, I'm glad you asked, I've been fine, it's lovely to see you sweetheart."
She's still smiling.. I'm screwed.
That aside, if she's here, surely my father might be here too.
"Hey mom, is dad here too?"
"Yes, he's the one who's been treating you."
Wait, before that, where even am I???
We're not on the ground, that's for sure, it feels like we're moving and it's way too fast.
Oh, someone just walked in, a knight huh? Probably Jian.
"Yo, Ruven, you're awake already huh? You look good, it's been 7 years, how are you, you've been asleep for one whole day?"
Look good my ass, all the girls I've met with the sole exception of my mom say that I'm ugly
"I've been better, haha.."
Way to make the situation awkward me..
"Ahem, that's good. Anyways, if you're wondering where we are, this is my aircraft, the Carnekiss Evita, she's a real beauty. Anyways, if you have any questions, you can find me in the lounge or in the navigation room, as for now, you can take a shower and catch up with your friends. I'll talk to you later." Jian said, and left.
Like he said, I took a quick shower and caught up on some stuff with Adonis and my mom, who gave me a verbal beating as well. Can't blame her, she's definitely worried after she found out what happened.
She's a part of the crew's research team apparently, that's good to know. As for Adonis, he told me about how I managed to kill Gabriel, he told me about him as well.
His full name was Gabriel Ragnar, a descendant of the Ragnars from Aqueogon. He wasn't as strong as other members of the family but he was notorious for doing crimes in his lifetime. Selling people as slaves, leading the camps which turn people into anomalites and excavating for ancient artifacts which are useful for their goal.
What goal? We don't know yet. But it has to be stopped, that's for sure.
Oh I realised, I never actually got the chance to introduce myself, Adonis, Jian and Dawn...
Oh well, I'll do it since I have time.
To make it short, I was adopted into the Nightingale family after I was separated from my parents. Some incidents happend and after that, I became an anti-social person who loves to spend time in solitude, not by choice, people just don't like me.
Adonis is sort of like my older brother, he's a hybrid, his mother was a VoltenCrown and father was a Human. This was considered taboo in Aqueogon, due to which they were executed. Adonis was supposed to be executed as well, but he was saved by Jian.
Being a hybrid isn't all that good, especially in this world. VoltenCrown-Human hybrids can't really use their inner voltage to use abilities, their human side stops them. They do have increased physical abilities which is an effect of their VoltenCrown side.
However, Adonis' ShadowBurst is an exception, as it relies on his skills as an assassin.
As for Jian, He's the guy who saved me when I was a kid. When I was lost after my hometown, after Ataraxia got destroyed and I was forced to roam around in the jungle, I didn't have any place to go to.
I was chased by wild beasts and was almost kiled by one in the forest, but Jian saved me just in time, it's strange how he managed to save the both of us but it doesn't matter, he's our saviour.
He was originally a Royal Guard for Vrontí when I was still young, I don't know what's happening now, I guess I'll find out when I talk to him.
As for Dawn, I don't really know much about her. She seems familiar, as in I've met her in the past but I can't really remember when.
She's a pretty serious girl and I don't see her smiling or laughing a lot, even in school. The most expressive I've ever seen her was when she was scared when she teleported me to her.
Well thats kind of it for introductions.
I decided to go look for Jian, he should be in the lounge or in the navigation room. It's a pretty big ship. There's also a few unfamiliar people here, probably the crew.
He wasn't there in the lounge, so I went to the navigation room.
I didn't know the directions all that well, so I asked one of the crew members to help me.
After they guided me to the navigation room, I met Jian there.
"Ah Ruven, you're here. Welcome."
"Thanks, great to be here."
"I know I told you that I would answer your questions, but something came up."
"What happened, is something wrong?"
"Well, not really, I'll explain it to you in a bit. But here's what I'm gonna need you to do."
