The atmosphere between the two changed drastically, Luke held his hands up his face to hide the embarrassment and heat he could feel coming out of him in waves. While Nathaniel seeing this raw reaction on Luke's face made him held his breath as he stared cause the person right before him was handsome and he found his reaction admiring. Too cute if you ask me.
"So..... I didn't take you as a singer" Nathaniel said as he stepped closer to Luke.
"Hey just drop it would you.....its embarrassing as it is right now" Luke said in a low voice.
Nathaniel just moved closer even more then crosses his left arm around Luke's shoulder bringing him closer "nah, am not doing that so start telling me. Lukey I didn't take you as a singer. It surprised me" he muttered against Luke's face which made the other boy heat up even more that it started to hurt.
"Alright fine.....I learnt the piano and singing along with the saxophone from gramps and his old friends every time they come visit." He paused but now he was smiling and now seeming calm (relaxed) remembering these memories..... "At first I hated it but as time goes on I started to love it not just like or love it I enjoyed it with every of their visit. It got to a time I even await their arrival and even looking forward to our next meeting " he added while he turned to Nathaniel who looks at him with anticipation and fondness.
"You know, it healed me from within. Like emotionally and physically, it helped a lot" he muttered the last part understand his breath but loud enough for Nathaniel to hear.
Nathaniel smile as he shook him a little.... "You most have been happy and enjoyed it all"
"....yeah I did, am even missing it.....every moment of it."
"Well cheerup..... from now on I will be your new song partner, would you like that.???" Nathaniel asked with a smile
"Yes... Nate I would like..... No love it thanks"
"Enough with the chit chat, we still have classes to be ok"
"Classes.....yeah I remember " Luke said in hesitation remembering what really made him left the classroom, the intimacy with him and Nathaniel in his bedroom, how close Nathaniel's breath was close to him and how their skins touched and seemed warm... Don't even mention the way they both hold into each other like they were perfect like that. Maybe they were. Just these thoughts made him feel hot.
"I will be okay...I hope" he said but more like to himself than to Nathaniel.
"Good cause you felt off today, like you weren't comfortable at all or is anything bothering you lukey" Nathaniel asked with great concern.
Luke shook his head vigorously "am great, am good nothing to worry about and nothing is bothering me..... nothing!!!!.... Am off to class...!!!!!" He said as he dashed out of the music room to his classroom.
"Wait up Lukey... Wait up" Nathaniel dashed after him to their classroom.

The days went on like a blur and things were going back to normal except the rhythm of Nathaniel said Luke who moved like they were birds or lions of the same pride...
But just as it was great it was stressful for them both.
Luke siblings and father were not helping things either, the same shouts over dinner, lunch and breakfast continue and the the classes he did online also gave him a little stress, but it was manageable than the one he faces from his family.
Nathaniel on the other hand was working his after school job more eagerly and help his parents in the bakery for support and he also attended the online classes he attends learning from Luke's classes...
But all these never stopped them from keeping in touch either by phone or meeting at the ice-cream cafe or mistakenly meet in the park. They would discuss able what they are facing and how they want it to all end, they comfort each other after it all and grab ice-cream together and it was becoming something like a routine that they started unknowingly to them.
On Saturday Luke was feeling out of place of recent and he was feeling the weight affecting him, pressing against his shoulder and he doesn't know what to do to take it off himself.
He got up walked out his room then down the stairs to the living room to meet his frustrating family expect his mom she was the sweetest person ever lived. He went to his mom and kissed her by the cheek before saying, " I will be right back mom, just going out " before walking to the door but he heard his mom's voice shouting after him....."be back on time ok"
"Ok mom, I've heard you. Take care " Luke respond as he entered the driver's seat fasten his seat belt and turn on the engine of his car and drove out from the parking lot.
There was something missing and that something was what he couldn't quite Pu his hands on...
He just needed a break from everything that was going on in his life. There were emotions he couldn't figure out or control. Recently his emotions were all over the place and he needed break from it all.
Luke drove somewhere far from his familiar surroundings or places he knew, he wanted to be far away from everything and everyone he knew and that includes Nathaniel. Someone he loves but can never have because he views him as a kind of guy that will never return his feelings or even get an hint even if he gave him but sometimes or something feelings right when he was with him.
Then memories of that night, their discussions, their laughters together, little touches that sent shivers down his spine, and how he woke up in Nathaniel's solid chest and warm breath and cologne with the mixture of his earthly scent that he really wanted to smell again.
He scratches his hair making them messed up but he didn't bother about that and now there was the thought of him traveling back to Canada to build his life over there that meant he would live everything else here including his first love And it scared him.
"What do I do, it is always slipping away from my hands... everything" he whispered against the wheel as he pressed down hard that his knuckles turn white.
"I want him, I really want him....." He stated as little tears runnes down his eyes.
He knew his eyes were never going to be the same they were going to be poofy and reddish from the tears, but he knew that when he gets home or prison that disguise it self as his home, questions will begin and he hated it. He was fine, he was okay.... but he just the lied to himself but he really wanted to believe it.
Later that day he walked pass his family at the dinner table going straight to his room he wasn't hungry but was tired as hell and all he wanted to do at this moment was sleep and nothing more.
When he was done showering and brushing his teeth he walked to his bed fell on it and foldes himself with his blanket that still had the scent of Nathaniel that made him warm...
"I wish he where here to hold me and surround me with his scent that I find amusing and satisfying. I want him to warm me up too with his body... I need him" was the last thing he said before falling asleep.
He doesn't know if it was an imagination or dream he had but what seems like his greatest wish actually manifested cause he felt warmed up and the familiar scent surrounded him, he also felt hot breath hitting against his neck and warm intake of breath that seem to happen by his neck like the person inhaled his scent too.
Then he heard these words that sent shivers down his spine... "I want you too".
But when he opened his eyes he was alone and strange cause everything that felt real.
He just laid back down on his bed but he couldn't find sleep anytime soon.
........
In the morning when he woke up he felt a presence in his room that wasn't supposed to be there but it was familiar.
He looked around and found Nathaniel sitting close to his bed with a chair brought close with hands on his chin and with eyes so intense that made Luke heart jumped or was it raced he wasn't sure but his gaze did have an effect on him but was brought back to reality as he heard the next few words that broke everything.
"What have you done to me Lukey..." Nathaniel said with a serious tone.
"What... I don't get"
"What did you do to me, cause you affect me in ways that doesn't seem right. Like I can't sleep without you being close" he finally said as he got closer to Luke making his breath caught in his chest.
'F*CK ME.... What is happening ' Luke question's himself as he still stares at Nathaniel.
