"The Formation of Ten Thousand Snakes!"
Orochimaru watched Shimura Danzo attempt to flee with speed almost comparable to teleportation—only to still be caught by Jaeger. At that moment, he knew the truth:
Running was death.
Fighting was probably death.
But fighting at least had a microscopic chance of survival.
For a man who'd spent half his life pursuing science, that slim chance was still better than zero.
Orochimaru understood all too well that battles aren't won simply by the strong beating the weak. They change. They turn. They flip.
"Fwaaah—!"
A torrent of venomous, mucus-coated serpents poured from Orochimaru's mouth, spraying out with a sickening hisssssss.
Even Kasumigaoka Utaha and the other girls dropping from the sky felt their stomachs twist.
Snakes were already a no-go for most women.
Snakes coming out of a mouth was a next-level violation of sanity.
Even Jaeger—unfazed by far worse—felt his brow twitch.
"Good thing none of that can touch me… Still, the disgust factor is definitely impressive."
Jaeger spoke calmly. And just before the wave of snakes reached him, the Noble Phantasm known as Infinite World activated on its own.
A domain.
A boundary.
A conceptual space that separated Jaeger from everything else.
It originally came from Shimura Danzo's Infinity—itself borrowed from Gojo Satoru's technique—but the Noble Phantasm version was on a different level.
——Infinite World automatically created an infinite spatial buffer around Jaeger.
Any attack Jaeger could comprehend was swallowed before it ever reached him.
It was essentially the ultimate evolution of Gojo Satoru's Limitless—except Jaeger didn't need hand signs, gestures, or even concentration. It simply activated by existing.
"Bzzzz—…"
Like a living world devouring intruders, the snakes vanished the moment they touched the invisible boundary—consumed by the Infinite World, erased without trace.
"Unfortunately, it's still not perfect. Just like the Mystic Eyes of Death Perception, it needs 'understanding' as a precondition. But with my eyes connected to the Root of all worlds… the upper limit keeps rising."
Jaeger murmured to himself, though satisfaction glowed behind his calm tone. When paired with his Mystic Eyes—which connected to the source of reality—Infinite World became the ultimate defense, the perfect counterpart to Direct Death's ultimate offense.
A flawless combination.
He really should thank Shimura Danzo.
Not only had the man provided this Noble Phantasm…
He even used his own death to activate Trial of Heroes, accelerating Jaeger's fusion with star-like cores, dramatically increasing his life level and power.
Jaeger felt great.
Orochimaru… did not.
"My snakes vanished before touching him… This ability… is it Danzo's Infinite? No… no, this is even stranger. Even more terrifying…"
Seeing his snakes vanish like they'd been eaten by an invisible monster, Orochimaru felt despair tighten around his throat.
He had always known Jaeger was monstrous.
But this was beyond monstrous.
"Hiss… I'm done. I'm not running or fighting anymore!"
"…oh?"
Jaeger blinked in mild surprise.
"Running won't work, fighting won't work, so I'm not doing either. Besides—" Orochimaru's voice was calm, almost cold, "—you can't kill me. Even if you do, I'll revive eventually. So why not just let me join you instead?"
"That's the part," Jaeger's eyes narrowed, irritation flickering, "that pisses me off."
Jaeger hated people acting smug in front of him.
Especially idiots bragging about immortality.
He was a Celestial Dragon with no moral brakes.
He would destroy a nation, or millions of lives, just to enjoy the scenery or speedrun acquiring a woman.
A freak like Orochimaru bragging about immortality?
Jaeger wanted to burn him down to absolute nothingness.
"It's a pity," Jaeger sighed lightly, "that I won't get to see your expression when you die. And as for relying on your Curse Mark to resurrect…"
His right eye ignited with blinding light—the sun-shaped pattern blazing like a divine seal.
"…that won't be happening."
Orochimaru didn't even have time to gasp.
Sun-burning flames appeared directly on his body—no signal, no trajectory, no escape.
A flame strong enough to burn the sun to ash.
Orochimaru disintegrated instantly.
Body. Soul. Everything.
Only silent gray dust remained.
"This flame can reduce even the sun to ashes. You thought your immortality ranks above the sun? Hilarious… clown."
Jaeger lowered his eyelid as the sun-pattern dimmed again. He glanced downward at the massive earth-rending crack created by the ability—and frowned.
Because of Trial of Heroes, every strong enemy he killed accelerated the fusion of the star-cores inside his body.
But now…
His life level was rising too fast.
He had nearly cracked the planet.
Yes—physically destroyed the ninja world's planet.
Not actively.
Just by existing.
His life intensity had grown too high, and the planet was becoming like a tissue trying to carry a barbell. Something that simply couldn't hold him.
[I really need to hold back. If I go home to the One Piece World like this and accidentally blow up that planet… that'll be annoying.]
Jaeger fully suppressed the rising power, then examined the new Noble Phantasm he obtained from Orochimaru.
"…Huh. Strange effect, but interesting. Not strong, but definitely useful. Something like an anti-flight, anti-demon restriction."
At that moment—
"Help… me…"
Jaeger turned slightly.
The Fire Daimyo lay crumpled on the ground, trembling. Next to him was a blond man soaked in blood but still breathing heavily:
Yamanaka Inoichi.
One of Konoha's Twelve Guardians.
Father of Yamanaka Ino.
A master of the mental arts.
Even after being hit by Danzo's Infinite Space, he had managed to resist it long enough to save the Daimyo.
The same could not be said for the others.
The Nara and Akimichi heads, Inuzuka head, Aburame head—almost all incapacitated by Danzo, then killed in the battlefield aftermath.
Konoha had taken catastrophic losses.
Before Jaeger could respond—
"BOOM!"
A huge pink dragon crashed from the sky, making the ruined Konoha tremble. The Fire Daimyo, who had just begged for help, shrieked and rolled pathetically in the dirt.
"You—!! You dared disrespect me—! I'll punish you!! I'll execute you for treason!!"
Even covered in rubble, the idiot still acted like a king.
Yamanaka Inoichi wanted to cry.
Why did I save this man…? Why?
Kasumigaoka Utaha clicked her tongue. "Ew. Who's this old man?"
Jaeger lazily flicked his finger.
A shockwave burst from the air.
The Daimyo's head exploded like a watermelon.
"…haah."
Yamanaka Inoichi collapsed to his knees immediately.
"Yamanaka clan head, Yamanaka Inoichi! Thank you for saving Konoha!"
"Hah! Good instinct!" Tsunade grinned.
"Honestly, that Daimyo bastard deserved it. No strength, no brains, but always ordering around ninjas."
"Because ninjas produce nothing," Jaeger replied. "If I were Hokage, I would've killed him long ago and ruled the Fire Country myself. Trash like that only exists to be used as mascots."
"Jaeger, you're absolutely right!"
Tsunade's eyes sparkled. Her admiration surged—this man matched her values way too perfectly.
Just then—
Several figures rushed toward them.
Uchiha Miyuki.
Shisui.
And behind them—
A young Uchiha Izumi.
A young Yuhi Kurenai.
And Uchiha Mikoto—gentle, beautiful, refined.
Jaeger's eyes lingered on Mikoto for a moment.
A canon beauty.
Not bound to Fugaku in this timeline.
Well-raised, kind, elegant.
Naturally, he had a good impression.
Izumi and Kurenai peeked shyly at Jaeger—faces red, hearts pounding.
Girls in the ninja world matured early.
And Jaeger looked like a fallen angel of perfection.
Mikoto herself looked… entranced.
Jaeger was a walking female-slayer.
Aizen's Fou-mod was "primate-killer."
Jaeger was "woman-killer."
Absolute perfection.
Meanwhile, civilians crawled out from the ruins. The few surviving spies from other villages silently fled to report what they'd witnessed.
A Cloud spy sent a message:
[Konoha is destroyed. Do NOT attack. That man is more terrifying than any Jinchuriki. Wait until he leaves Konoha before making any decisions.]
What he didn't write was the truth in his heart:
Jaeger… was not human.
More ninjas finally arrived—Yuhi Shinku, Might Duy, Hyuga clansmen, Inuzuka clansmen—many having witnessed the earlier battle.
When they saw Yamanaka Inoichi kneel—
They followed like falling dominoes.
One after another.
An entire sea of Konoha kneeling before Jaeger, Tsunade, and the others.
"What are they doing?" Uchiha Miyuki frowned.
"It's herd mentality," Kasumigaoka Utaha said. "Some are in awe of Jaeger's status. Some are terrified. The rest kneel because everyone else is kneeling. Just like how they kneeled to Danzo before. A bunch of sheep."
"Senpai, amazing analysis! As expected of a light novel writer! So cultured!"
"Hmph." She flicked her hair. "Flattery gets you nothing. Or else the noble Celestial Dragon over there will get jealous."
She glanced toward Angel Leng—still frozen like a statue.
"…why hasn't she moved? Didn't she exit Danzo's infinite space?"
Jaeger peeked with future sight.
"She's examining Danzo's infinite space. Reverse-engineering it."
"EH!? That's possible!?"
"It's not copying," a voice answered.
Angel Leng's body stirred—then she smirked.
"It's simulation through technology. Also, Jaeger—there's a woman that is interested in you"
"…oh?"
Jaeger turned.
And saw a pair of pure white eyes.
Eyes like fresh snow.
