Third Person's POV
Caroline's eyes widened as her hand rubbed her forehead where it had hit the dashboard. She avoided Vivian's gaze and awkwardly fastened her seatbelt.
"Wh… what are you talking about? Harming Rafael? Why—"
"Caroline!" Vivian's voice rose sharply. "We've known each other long enough to understand each other, haven't we? I know Roman already scolded you a few days ago after finding out what you were planning. I'm not going to stop you. Just…" She took a breath. "Just don't do anything until the surgery is done."
Her tone turned firm, drawing a clear line. Right now, the only thing that mattered was keeping Caroline away from the hospital. Vivian glanced at her watch. Two hours left before Raya's surgery.
"I can't just give up like this," Caroline snapped after a pause, her body stiff with frustration.
