They've been traveling for a while and Bell was starting to feel bored, then he remembered about his new skills and the attribute points he was yet to distribute.
"Open skill tab" He commanded and a floating screen appeared before him.

Bell clicked on each of the skills which opened a little window below each of them.

_No wonder I felt stronger when fighting those spiders_ Bell thought. "Now time to distribute my AP"

"I don't know what dexterity do but it will be wise to just increase it too, just in case"
With that out of the way, he lay down and used his bag as a pillow to rest his head and drifted off to sleep.

"We're here!"
Bell could hear Daria voice as she talks to Ryu, Ryu didn't actually say anything, she just nodded and sometimes reply with a simple hum.
Bell sat up upon hearing Daria's announcement, it has been two day since that had been traveling and throughout that time they only stopped on the first night before continuing with the journey the following morning.
The sky had gotten slightly dark, but he could see the capital walls from their distance.
As the carriage came closer to the royal capital, Bell could see the upper part of a huge golden castle towering to the sky, the lower part and the town was hidden behind the walls that protected the capital.
As they slowly approached the gate, the gate was quickly opened before they were even close to it. The two knights that were standing on each side of the gate stood at attention and the carriage pass but as the wagon pass by with Bell on the back, they gave him a look that made him uncomfortable.
After riding a few yards into the capital, they stopped at the town square where Bell jumped down and helped his sister down.
"Okay, have a good time" Daria said with a smile.
"Sure" Bell said and the carriage went on it's way. _i really wish I could go to the castle_
Bell stood there for a while as he observed his surrounding.
The house were all made with bricks with wood for the roofs, each house has a elegant design on them. The road were made with granite, each coming from deferent parts of the town and meeting at the center where a water fountain stood with street lamp brightly lit on both sides. The fountain had a statue of a beautiful woman on her knees and holding her hands together as she raised them to the sky.
Bell had seen some like that before, he quickly took a coin from his pouch and took a closer look at it, the woman he had seen on the fountain was there. She must be the goddess, Hilda.
"Big brother?"
Ryu's voice brought Bell back to reality.
"Hmm?" Bell quickly shifted his attention to his sister.
"Let's go somewhere else, it really hot standing under the sun"
Bell had almost forgotten about his sister condition, he looked around for a bit before heading the opposite direction of the castle. There was a large building he had spotted while he was still in the wagon, he thought he should have asked Daria but he was really sure that the building was the guild building.

It didn't take to long for Bell to reach the building, Ryu had gotten tired of walking and he had to carry her on his back.
For a guild building, it was larger than Bell had thought. It looked more like an academy, if he hadn't asked a trader on his way there, he wouldn't even approach the building.

Bell made his way into the large hall, he had seen many adventurers and and some trainees in his way there but he hasn't spoken to any of them, they didn't seem to friendly either. On getting to the receptionist counter, he greeted her.
The woman was dressed in a black office suit, her black hair was tied into a ponytail and she maintained a stern look on her face. She adjusted her spectacles as she looked up at Bell.
"What do you want?" Her voice wasn't very welcoming either.
"I want to apply to this guild and become an adventurer" Bell replied, unsure of how to put it.
The receptionist glared at him then shifted her gaze to Ryu who was standing beside her brother, Ryu's fingers slipped into Bell's and she gently pulled him.
"Where you invited?" She asked, her gaze still on them.
Bell thought for a while. _do you really need an invitation to join a guild?_
"Uhhh, not really. We travelled all the way from Aria and I was told there's a guild here that were looking for adventurers"
"I'm afraid you're in the wrong place. The Golden Dragon guild doesn't take in peasant and even if we do, you'll have to be invited by the guild leader"
Bell was offended by her statement, but instead of yelling at her or storming out, he calmed down and asked where he could apply.
"There is a guild at the far west of town, that where people like you belong"
Bell nodded and left pulling Ryu along.

Now Bell understood why the people he had seen in the guild didn't look friendly, it was because they were poor and in thus world, the rich rule over the poor. It was something he had noticed from seeing his mother overwork herself everyday, that's why he had chosen to help her.
It didn't take Bell too long to find the building the receptionist was talking about, to be honest, it wasn't hard to miss.
The guild was situated in the middle of downtown, it looked like it was built with wood due to the brown paint that was used to colour the entire building, giving it a plane look. Unlike the golden dragon guild, there was no fence, no adventurers training outside or waiting to join, no other buildings around it except for the goddess statue.
