Along the way to Chen family's restaurant, Mu Zhe just kept silent. But, every now and then his eyes glanced at Lulu. Lulu looked so casual. Wearing his poker face as he used to. Don't even care to take a glance at Mu Zhe. Sometimes he will laugh at Zhou Jun and Zhang Yiran's fuss. Mu Zhe pursed his lips. He felt ignored.
"Step aside! You're too slow!"
Mu Zhe said as he pushed Lulu and the others aside. He quickly set his steps ahead of them.
Jiang Hai scratched his head. Look at Lulu and Zhou Jun.
"What's wrong with Mu Zhe today?"
He asked.
"If you don't know, do you think I would know?"
Zhou Jun asked.
"Do you know why Lulu?"
Lulu shrugged his shoulders. Although he could guess the reason, he just kept quiet. Even his smile was tightly closed.
Arriving at the Chen family's restaurant, Mu Zhe sit in their usual spot. His face as sour as vinegar. It even got sourer when his eyes caught Ru She's face.
He remembered Jiang Hai's words that Ru She had a lover. Who? It could be Lulu. Who could have guessed all that.
"Hey..why are you in a bad mood today?"
Jiang Hai asked while sitting next to Mu Zhe.
"Bad mood? Who? Me? Hello...why would I be in a bad mood? You know me, right? Have you ever seen me in a bad mood?"
Jiang Hai shook his head while glancing at Zhou Jun. "Yes, he's in a bad mood." Their hearts said. But they just kept quiet. They know very well how troublesome it is when Mu Zhe sulks.
"Never, right?"
He said trying to deny the truth. But the tone and style of his speech showed everything.
"This will cool your head."
Lulu said while giving Mu Zhe a glass of cold water. Mu Zhe turned his head. Staring fiercely at Lulu's face before he looked away. As if saying "Cheating!" clearly without subtitles.
Lulu smiled contentedly. Seeing the other side of Mu Zhe made him confident that his goal was already within reach. Now all that's left is to give him his stamp of supremacy.
Ru She came to deliver their order. Her smile was sweet as usual. It made all normal men's hearts melting.
"Tch!"
Mu Zhe's lips pursed angrily. His gaze was cast far away to the bamboo grove by the restaurant. Jiang Hai elbowing Zhou Jun.
"Do something before he sulks even worse."
He whispered after Ru She returned to the kitchen.
"Me?"
Zhou Jun pointed to himself. Jiang Hai nodded.
"Have you forgotten that I am the source of his irritation? Ish... I dare not.?
Zhou Jun shook his head before he looked at Lulu. The same with Jiang Hai. Zhou Jun elbowing Jiang Hai while giving a sign with his eyes so that Jiang Hai asked Lulu to persuade Mu Zhe.
Silence. No reaction from Jiang Hai. Zhou Jun turned. Jiang Hai's eyes seemed to be right in the kitchen where Ru She was standing next to Ru Yi. "Tch! This kid. While we're busy solving Mu Zhe's problems, he still have some guts to look at someone else girlfriend." Zhou Jun grumbled in his heart.
"I heard you've asked Ru She out before? Are you two dating?"
Zhou Jun asked suddenly. Jiang Hai quickly turned to face Zhou Jun. So did Mu Zhe and Lulu. Staring at Zhou Jun's face before slowly turning to Jiang Hai. The question "You've gone out together? How could we not know? What else are you hiding from us?" was clearly reflected in their expressions.
Jiang Hai swallowed his saliva. His eyes slowly gazes at Ru Yi who was busy preparing customers orders. "Haaa...luckily he didn't hear." Jiang Hai's heart that almost blowing just now feels a little relieved.
"She already has a boyfriend. And his boyfriend isn't me. I have someone else that I like."
Jiang Hai explained while stuffed his mouth with braised chicken. He didn't expect that the day for him to explain all of that to his friends had arrived.
"You're not her boyfriend? If not Ru She, who do you like? And who is her boyfriend?"
Zhou Jun asked again. Jiang Hai shook his head. It wasn't time for the stupid Zhou Jun to know all that yet. Mu Zhe looked at Lulu. Lulu shook his head.
"Not me."
Lulu replied. He didn't want Mu Zhe to misunderstood. Mu Zhe's jealousy face looked scary.
Mu Zhe stared at Lulu's face. For a long time. Lulu nodded. "Trust me. I only want you. No one else." Lulu smiled.
Mu Zhe's lips suddenly melted. Now his heart felt at ease.
Cough! Cough! Cough!
Mu Zhe coughing. Suddenly he remembered about his relationship with Lulu just between senior and junior. No more than that. His face turned red. He couldn't believe that he could feel so jealous about Lulu having a girlfriend.
"Eat slowly. Don't rush."
Jiang Hai stroked Mu Zhe's back. Zhou Jun gave Mu Zhe a glass of water.
"Take it slow. We won't take your food."
He said. Mu Zhe took the water from Zhou Jun and pretended to pour it on Zhou Jun. Trying to hold back his embarrassment. But his lips curled into a sweet smile without realizing it. His heart began to blossom without him being able to control it.
Jiang Hai smiled as he gently patted Lulu's back. "It seems he's given you the green light. Congratulations, junior." Lulu smiled proudly.
Lulu had been chasing Mu Zhe's shadow for three years. Seeing Mu Zhe's reaction that day, Lulu felt that all of his efforts and patience had paid off. Now all he needed was to get the ownership stamp and everything would be under his control.
"Hello, friend, sorry for the late."
Everyone turned to the owner of the voice. It was Zhang Yiran who came with Ah Fei.
"Have you finished studying?"
Mu Zhe asked as he made room for Zhang Yiran and Ah Fei to sit.
"Yes. Ah Fei is hungry that's why we came here."
Zhang Yiran answered as he sat down. Ah Fei sat down too. Politely. Totally like a pure teenager.
"What do you want to order?"
Lulu asked. That day there weren't many customers so Ru Yi asked him to sit with his friends.
"Err...just wantan noodles. Ah Fei?"
Ah Fei raised his face. Stared at Zhang Yiran's face.
"Same. Wantan noodles."
Zhang Yiran replied without being told by Ah Fei. Lulu glared at Ah Fei. "What happened?"
"Okay."
Lulu replied with his eyes still focused on Ah Fei who just looked down shyly. It sewm he was still awkward to gather with his seniors.
Jiang Hai and Mu Zhe looked at each other. "I think I smelled something fishy." Jiang Hai smiled. "Me too. Something... Wow!" Mu Zhe also smiled.
"How do you know what he wanted to order?"
Zhou Jun asked. He was as confused as ever. Ah Fei raised his face. Stared at Zhang Yiran's face. They looked at each other. As if they talking using a telepathy.
"He already told me earlier."
Zhang Yiran replied with his poker face..
"But..."
"Ah! I heard our school is getting a new teacher. Have you ever heard about it?"
Zhang Yiran asked broke Zhou Jun's annoying curiosity.
"That right. I heard about it too."
Jiang Hai replied.
"Male or female?"
Mu Zhe asked.
"Male."
Zhou Jun replied in monotones. His expression turned sour all of sudden as if his soul suddenly flying leaving his body into another dimension. Everyone looked at each other in puzzled. Make a riddle about Zhou Jun's facial changes in their mind.
Jiang Hai elbowing Mu Zhe. "What happened to him?" It felt like something was wrong. The Zhou Jun they knew never had such a facial expression. Mu Zhe shrugged his shoulders. "I don't know."
"There must be something wrong between Zhou Jun and the new teacher." Zhang Yiran make his own conclusion.
