"Appear! The new direction of Cyber Style! Xyz Summon! Rank 5! Cyber Dragon Nova!"

"Xyz Summon?" Everyone present gazed at Ryo Marufuji on the High Platform with shock.
"What? Is it strange?" Ryo Marufuji scanned the crowd below the High Platform. "As the Commander of the Fusion Dimension, I'm actually using the enemy's Summoning method?"
"This is also what I want to tell you! No matter the Summoning method, be it Fusion or Xyz, as long as you think it's useful for improving your strength, then learn it! What I want is only ultimate victory!" Ryo Marufuji declared loudly.
"I'll Overlay Cyber Dragon Nova, Rank 5, further!"
"O Machine Dragon that opens the gate to the future, in your ultimate form, bring infinite terror upon my enemies! Descend! Rank-Up Xyz Change! Rank 6! Cyber Dragon Infinity!"
Beneath Cyber Dragon Nova's feet, a galaxy swirling with starlight slowly emerged, and dark red lightning surged forth from the mechanical dragon's body.

"Once per turn: Target 1 face-up Attack Position monster on the field; attach that monster to this card as an Overlay Unit."
"I will attach Cyber Dragon Core on my field to Cyber Dragon Infinity as an Overlay Unit!"
"Cyber Dragon Infinity's ATK increases by 200 for each Overlay Unit attached to this card!"

"I set two cards and end my turn." Ryo Marufuji ended his turn. "Come on, try to defeat me! Use every means at your disposal!"
"My turn, draw!" The first Warrior drew a card.
"I Summon Ancient Gear Hound in Attack Position!"
"Ancient Gear Hound's effect activates! When this card is Normal Summoned: Inflict 600 damage to your opponent."
A Mechanical Hound jumped out from that Warrior's Duel Disk and fired a cannon blast towards Ryo Marufuji.
"Cyber Dragon Infinity's effect activates! Once per turn, when a card effect is activated: You can detach 1 Overlay Unit from this card; negate the activation, and if you do, destroy it."
Cyber Dragon Infinity blasted a cannonball directly at its head, shattering the Mechanical Hound that dared to provoke it.

"I set two cards and end my turn." The first Soldier gritted his teeth and ended his turn.
"You're ending it just like that?" Ryo Marufuji asked with a look of disbelief, glaring at the Warrior angrily. "Are you looking down on me?"
"My Normal Summoned monster was destroyed... I... I have no further plays in my hand." The Warrior stammered timidly.
Ryo Marufuji looked at him, not knowing what to say, and the scene fell silent for a moment.
"C-can I start?" After a long while, the second Warrior asked weakly.
"What do you think? Do I need to draw a card for you?" Ryo Marufuji snapped.
"M-my turn, draw." The second Warrior drew a card.
"I Summon Ancient Gear Hound in Attack Position! Then, I activate its effect upon its successful Summon, inflicting 600 damage to the opponent."
"Is this the only monster you have?" Ryo Marufuji fumed. "Cyber Dragon Infinity activates its effect!"
"By detaching one Overlay Unit, I negate that effect's activation and destroy it!"

"I set a card and end my turn." The second Warrior also ended their turn.
"Good... very good." Ryo Marufuji laughed in extreme anger.
"Commander, the Warriors' Decks are basically standardized Decks prepared for squad operations, so they're inevitably a bit monotonous," the Deputy Commander said from the side.
"So that's how it is?" Ryo Marufuji nodded. "I was originally considering if my actions were too radical, but you've successfully dispelled my doubts."
"Come on, next one! I'll let you know how foolish this so-called squad operation truly is!"
"My turn, draw." The third Warrior drew a card.
"I Summon Ancient Gear Hound in Attack Position! Then, I activate its effect, inflicting 600 damage to the opponent!"
"Useless! Cyber Dragon Infinity's effect activates! By detaching one Overlay Unit, I negate that effect and destroy it!"

"I set two cards and end my turn." The third Warrior did set one more card, but Ryo Marufuji's expression remained grim.
"My turn! Draw!" The fourth Warrior still repeated the previous play, Summoning a Hound, then having it destroyed.
"My turn! Draw!" The fifth Warrior drew a card.
"I Summon Ancient Gear Hound in Attack Position! Then, I activate its effect! Inflict 600 damage to the opponent!"
Because Cyber Dragon Infinity's Overlay Units were all used up, Ryo Marufuji took this wave of damage.
Ryo Marufuji LP: 4000→3400
The next 5 individuals' plays were much the same; a total of 3000 points of damage continuously struck Ryo Marufuji.
But Ryo Marufuji remained silent, not even frowning, his expression only growing grim.
"A total of 6 monsters, 10 Set Cards, correct?" During the last Warrior's End Phase, Ryo Marufuji finally spoke.
"Then, Trap Card, Cybernetic Overflow, activates! Banish any number of 'Cyber Dragon' monsters with different Levels from your hand, Graveyard, or face-up on your field, then destroy cards on your opponent's field equal to the number of banished cards."
"I Banish Level 5 Cyber Dragon, Level 4 Cyber Dragon Vier, Level 2 Cyber Dragon Core, and Level 1 Cyber Dragon Herz, to destroy 4 Set Cards on your field!"
Successive electric currents flashed, shattering 4 Set Cards.
"Next, the second Set Card, Quick-Play Spell, Cyberload Fusion, activates! Return Fusion Materials determined by a Fusion Monster Card from your field and your banished monsters to your owner's Deck, then Fusion Summon 1 Fusion Monster that lists 'Cyber Dragon' monsters as Fusion Materials from your Extra Deck."
"Returning the 4 banished Cyber Dragon monsters to my Deck, Appear! Chimeratech Rampage Dragon!"
A Fusion Vortex surrounded by electricity formed from the revealed Set Card. One by one, various Cyber Dragons slowly emerged from a nearby dimensional rift, then were condensed by this vortex into a mechanical core. Moments later, a ferocious mechanical dragon's head rose from within the core.

"Chimeratech Rampage Dragon's effect activates! When this card is Fusion Summoned: Target Spell/Trap Cards on the field, up to the number of monsters used as Fusion Material for this card; destroy those cards."
Black lightning shot out from Chimeratech Rampage Dragon's mechanical core, shattering the Set Cards in the Backrow.
"It's not over yet! Quick-Play Spell, Twin Twisters, activates!"
"Discard 1 card from your hand, then target up to 2 Spell/Trap Cards on the field and destroy them!"
