Moreover, Darklord effects could be activated during either player's turn—a Quick Effect. This meant even Normal Spells could become fast, usable in the Battle Phase or during the opponent's turn.

"Wiped my field in an instant—impressive," Kira admitted, shielding himself from the storm.

When Silent Magician is destroyed, I can upgrade her from the deck!

A white magic circle formed, spinning as light coalesced into a slender figure—flowing robes, silver hair. Silent Magician descended in a radiant glow.
