"Maybe." Shikamaru shrugged. "But the chances of meeting one of the stronger guys are getting higher and higher. Troublesome… I just hope I draw an easier opponent."
His eyes swept across Sakura, Yakumo, Neji, Rock Lee, and finally Gaara.
None of them looked easy. If he met any of them, he was bound to lose.
If it was Gaara… he might die. Unless he gave up immediately.
"Na-Naruto! This is for you!"
When Naruto passed by Hinata in the stands, she shyly held out a small bottle.
"Huh? What's this?" Naruto blinked.
Hinata smiled faintly. "It's ointment for external wounds."
"Thanks, Hinata! You're such a nice person!" Naruto beamed, took it, and bolted off to find Sakura and Itsuki, not sparing her a second glance.
Hinata froze, then let out a small smile as she watched him run off happily.
She had watched Naruto silently for a long time.
He bore the same "loser" label she did, yet he faced everything head-on. Unlike her, who only cried in corners.
She envied him. She wanted to be fearless like him.
But nothing had changed—until she joined the Itsuki harem chat group and met Itsuki.
Now, Naruto was a faded memory of the past. Itsuki was more important.
By giving Naruto the ointment, she was proving that she had moved on.
She no longer needed to silently watch him to find courage.
"Oh? Where's Itsuki?" Naruto looked around the stands.
Sakura rolled her eyes and pointed toward the arena.
When Naruto had come up, Itsuki had leapt down.
As the medics moved to carry Kiba and Akamaru away, Itsuki stopped them.
His hands glowed green, and he pressed them over Kiba's injuries.
The wounds began closing at a speed visible to the naked eye.
"Is this… the Mystical Palm Healing Jutsu? Are you a medical ninja?" one of the staff gasped, eyes wide.
Medical-nin were rare, even in Konoha. Training them took far more resources than ordinary shinobi.
Most could only use basic healing, and only a handful in the entire Konoha Hospital had mastered this advanced technique.
"I just learned it. Using it to practice." Itsuki grinned.
Thanks to his enhanced talent and comprehension from the Fabrication System, he had picked it up quickly.
He was still a little rough and needed practice, but the results spoke for themselves.
Even so, the medics looked at him with awe.
In no time, Kiba and Akamaru were healed, their bodies whole and healthy. Both woke up groggily.
"Itsuki? You healed me?" Kiba blinked, checking himself. "When did you learn medical ninjutsu?"
He remembered that before, Itsuki only used life energy transfer from his chakra to help with wounds.
It worked, but only superficially—the injuries would look healed, but the patient remained weak inside.
This was different. Kiba felt perfectly fine, like he had never been hurt at all.
"I just learned it!" Itsuki answered casually. "You and Akamaru were my test subjects. Looks like it worked—lucky for you, I didn't paralyze you."
Kiba's mouth twitched. "Thanks, I guess… At least I don't have to stay in bed for a week."
"Woof! Woof!" Akamaru barked happily, wagging his tail as he circled Itsuki.
Itsuki patted Akamaru's head and stood. "The next match is about to start. Let's head back."
"Yeah." Kiba picked up Akamaru and sighed. "Can't believe I lost to Naruto. That guy's gotten stronger than I expected."
But his tone quickly shifted as he grinned fiercely. "Still—he was just lucky this time! I'll train harder and win next time!"
Itsuki chuckled softly. "Then work hard."
