After Kiba used his Beast-Man Clone, it could almost be declared that Naruto had lost.
With Naruto's current strength, there was simply no way to deal with it.
Even if he used multiple Shadow Clones, they would be defeated instantly.
His taijutsu was far inferior to Kiba's, and he couldn't keep up with their speed at all, so he could only take the beating passively.
Soon, Naruto was struck again and again until his head was bloody from Kiba and Akamaru's relentless attacks.
When Naruto jumped into the air to avoid another strike and had nowhere to gain footing, Kiba's opportunity came.
"Watch this—the Inuzuka Clan's ultimate taijutsu: Fang Over Fang!!"
Kiba and Akamaru clapped their hands together, then spun at high speed in different directions, turning into two giant drills that crashed into Naruto midair.
Naruto couldn't dodge, and with no defense prepared, he was slammed hard, screaming as blood sprayed from his mouth before he crashed to the ground.
"This is the difference in strength between you and me!" Kiba landed gracefully and sneered, ready to end the fight.
Many in the audience had already predicted Naruto's defeat.
The surprising thing was that he had managed to hold on this long.
Still, Kiba's finishing move had caught everyone's attention.
Though it was just a physical attack, both the speed and power were incredible.
Among many candidates, this was already considered upper-mid tier.
"Looks like that's the end of it." Kakashi sighed quietly, seeing no chance for Naruto to win.
Even if Naruto refused to give up, his real strength was limited.
"He hasn't given up yet!" Itsuki pointed down at the arena.
Covered in blood, Naruto was still struggling to stand.
"I want to… become Hokage… How can I fall here…?"
"You? Become Hokage?" Kiba laughed, his tone dripping with arrogance.
"You can't even beat me, and you still dream about Hokage? Stop being so stubborn! Hehe—Hokage should be me!"
Though Kiba's words were realistic, they sounded cruel and mocking.
It was one thing to think someone's dream was naïve—it was another to laugh at it openly.
Because who knew? Maybe the other person would one day get an opportunity or a sudden miracle, and against all odds, they'd make that dream real.
"Get up, Naruto!!" Sakura couldn't take it anymore.
She understood Naruto's growth, how much effort he had put in. Kiba's words were trampling on Naruto's very dream.
Under everyone's shocked gaze, Naruto—already battered and bruised—finally stood tall again.
"If you dare to fight me for the Hokage title…" Naruto grinned despite his bloody face, clenching his fists. "I'll turn you into a stray dog!"
"Tch!" Kiba was already impatient.
He pointed at Naruto. "You're still saying the same nonsense! Akamaru, let's finish this! Use it again—this time I'll make sure he can't get up!"
"Always using the same trick won't work!" Naruto said confidently.
But deep down, he was just being stubborn.
Akamaru transformed into Kiba, and together they used Fang Over Fang again, battering Naruto mercilessly.
As broken tiles flew and dust filled the air, Naruto suddenly had an idea.
He quickly used the Transformation Jutsu to disguise himself as Kiba, blending in with Kiba and Akamaru.
Now, three identical Kibas stood in the arena, staring at each other.
The audience buzzed.
But the Inuzuka Clan was famous for their sense of smell. Kiba smirked coldly. "You can't fool me!"
He rushed forward and punched one of them—sending Akamaru crashing to the ground.
"What?!"
Gasps filled the arena. Kiba had actually hit Akamaru instead of Naruto.
How did Naruto trick the Inuzuka Clan's nose?
Frowning, Kiba quickly turned and struck the second one—only to send Akamaru flying again!
He'd been fooled twice.
The crowd erupted in realization. Naruto had used Transformation twice in rapid succession, swapping appearances with Akamaru.
Kiba thought Naruto had disrupted his sense of smell and panicked, striking down his own partner instead.
With Akamaru unconscious, Kiba's strength was cut in half.
Bang!
Before Kiba could react, the "first Akamaru" he'd knocked down transformed back into Naruto.
Naruto leapt up and kicked Kiba hard in the chest.
For the first time since the fight began, Naruto landed a hit.
"He actually outsmarted him?"
Even people who knew Naruto found it hard to believe. Was this really the same "dead last" from the Academy?
"Hehe. Only Naruto, who loved pulling pranks, could come up with something like this." Kakashi chuckled.
But then his face froze as Naruto grinned smugly and shouted:
"Think before using ninjutsu, or I'll take advantage of you again, idiot!"
Kakashi scratched his head awkwardly. That line… was exactly what he had told Naruto during the bell test.
Naruto was repeating his lesson word-for-word in front of him, without realizing how embarrassing it sounded.
Across from him, Kiba was rattled but quickly bit his palm to calm himself.
Even without Akamaru, he still believed he had the advantage. His speed and strength outclassed Naruto—he just needed to finish it properly.
"Hehe… Kiba, you're finally serious!" Naruto clasped his hands together into the Tiger Seal, grinning. "Then let me show you the new trick I made especially for you!"
"New trick?"
Sakura and Kakashi exchanged surprised looks. When had Naruto learned something new?
Even Itsuki raised an eyebrow.
In the first round, Sasuke hadn't performed the Lion Combo, so Naruto shouldn't have gotten that inspiration. Did he really create something original?
"I don't care what move you've prepared!" Kiba snarled. "I'll stop you before you use it!"
He hurled shuriken, forcing Naruto to dodge and breaking his chakra concentration.
Then he activated the Four Legs Technique again, rushing behind Naruto at blinding speed.
"Watch this!"
He raised his clawed hands, ready to strike—
Pfffftttt!!
A fart rang out, loud enough that even the stands heard it.
The arena went silent.
Then Kiba staggered, covering his nose. "Aaaghhh!!"
The Inuzuka Clan's senses of smell were extremely sharp—and in Four Legs state, multiplied countless times stronger.
That fart stunned his brain like a poison bomb.
The entire stadium was dumbstruck.
But luck… was also part of strength.
Naruto didn't hesitate. He formed Shadow Clones and, with four copies, surrounded the dizzy Kiba.
One Naruto leapt high, spinning in the air, while the other four delivered a series of kicks.
"Uzumaki Barrage!!"
Naruto spun midair several times, then smashed his foot into Kiba's chest, sending him crashing to the ground.
Kiba hit hard, coughed up blood, and lost consciousness.
The crowd roared.
"So… in the end, it's still the same trick, just with a new name." Itsuki's mouth twitched slightly.
It was clear Naruto had thought of this move long ago—probably inspired when Rock Lee challenged Sasuke with Shadow Dance Leaf, and then perfected after seeing Sasuke's Lion Combo.
Even if Sasuke hadn't used it yet here, Naruto's instincts had still pushed him to create his own flashy finish.
