So Hyung wasted no time. He slipped around the side of the building to the spot Yoona had marked. His eyes scanned until he found the white utility pole with an electrical box attached. Pulling a screwdriver from his bag, he ducked into the thick green shrubs.
Meanwhile, Yoona stood nearby, running through backup plans in case things went wrong. Her gaze caught a hooded boy skateboarding not far away, and an idea sparked. She rushed toward the back‑door guard, feigning panic.
"Sir! Please help me!" she cried.
"What's the matter, miss?" The guard straightened, alert.
"There's a creep following me! Black hoodie, gray seams, skateboard. I swear he's staring at me in the worst way!"
"Stay here. I'll deal with him." The guard sprinted off. The skater, startled, bolted instantly.
"Stop! Somebody catch that kid!" the guard shouted.
Yoona seized the chaos, slipping through the back entrance. From the bushes, So Hyung flashed two fingers, signal complete. He'd frozen the cameras.
"Two minutes is plenty," Yoona whispered, moving down a corridor lit with golden lamps, the air thick with luxury. Ahead, a housekeeper was mopping the floor. Their eyes me, Yoona froze.
Suddenly, a man dashed past, yelling nonsense like a madman: "Four doors, one shot! Let's go, let's go, let's go!" The housekeeper shrieked, dropped her broom, and fled. Yoon's heart nearly stopped, realizing So Hyung had staged the distraction.
"He never fails to put on a show," she muttered, pressing forward. She reached the elevator.
"Perfect! Luck's on my side. Mwah!" she kissed the air playfully, pressing the button.
The lift carried her to the top floor. The doors slid open to reveal a grand circular chamber with a massive black door and two smaller ones to the sides.
"Uh… do you know the way?" she whispered, half to herself.
"Damn… the front door screams party. Left it is." She twisted the unlocked handle and stepped into a dim room. Artificial trees glowed faintly, simulating a forest at night.
"Wow… a nature simulation. Close the ceiling blinds, it's night. Open them, it's day. Clever." She wandered, curiosity piqued, until heavy footsteps thudded behind her. A shadow dropped from a branch above.
"What are you doing here?" A soft male voice asked.
Yoona froze. Busted! But… I know that voice.
"Y-you must be...." She turned, bowed, and held out her diary. "Please, may I have your autograph?"
The young man said nothing, simply took her diary and signed with a black pen.
Signature: \1/hite Woo Seok Jin[1]
"Minjun is in the lounge. Go on," he said while pointing to another door.
"T‑thank you," she stammered, relieved he wasn't hostile.
"If only I had your courage," he murmured, fading back into the shadows.
Yoona pushed through the next door into a vast penthouse kitchen, polished oak floors gleaming, art banners hanging on the walls. Beyond the glass windows stretched the skyline of Seoul.
From the lounge, voices carried:
"In a few weeks we're on stage. If them sponsors keeps this up, the concert's doomed," said a red‑haired man.
"Tell your dad to rain a billion from the VIPs box. That'll fix it," the blond replied sarcastically.
"First of all, he's not my real father!, and I fucking hate him. Second, them VIPs are his pocket claques. They've been lickin' his balls for years for god's sake."
Yoona crept closer, but slipped—thud!
"Ouch! Wet floor!" she groaned.
The idols turned sharply.
"Hey! This isn't place for random pretty girls to wander in," the red‑eyed man snapped.
"And isn't for asshole like you either, Jinam. Hello, gorgeous~" the blond waved cheerfully. "Not surprised you made it up here. So, have you collected all the autographs yet?" His golden glasses projected holographic words across the window: Glass Curtain / Through the Heart.
"Almost… just a few more," Yoona admitted.
"Minjun! Your ex is here! Hurry before the guards drag her ou—" The redhead's words cut off as Yoona slid on her knees, thrusting her diary forward. "Your autograph, bro!"
"Geez, your knees must be red now. Did you even buy a concert ticket?" Jinam grumbled, but signed anyway.
Signature: Prince Crimson, Cho Ji Nam
"Of course! A collector like me never misses. My dragon‑blooded prince~" she teased, reclaiming her diary.
"No wonder Minjun side chicks fought you in college," he sneered.
"We were classmates, remember? Handsome Cho Ji Nam, or should I call your real name, Da Li Hong~"
"Fuck you! Don't rub in that I dropped out before you. Damn it! Minjun, get your freaky ex out of here!" he roared.
"Thank you for the autograph, Li Hong~ Next time, don't act so cocky, okay? Whehe."
