"Monarch, Sovereign, Eternity." Lu Sheng murmured these words, unable to resist asking, "Could you elaborate?"
"This is something you should already know," said Haiji Dao. "An Immortal-level Extraordinary Physique, of course, is distinct from an Ordinary Physique. It wouldn't be an exaggeration to call them a whole different race. However, while Immortal-level Extraordinary Physiques are rare, they are not as powerful as you imagine."
"What do you mean?"
This time, it was Anon Turing who asked. His thick eyebrows furrowed slightly. He had an undisputed Immortal-level Physique, something he had always been proud of.
Before Lu Sheng appeared, his talent had shone brightly throughout the entire Hundred Great Star District. But now, Haiji Dao was saying that Immortal Physiques weren't that powerful? This dealt another blow to his already bruised ego, in front of Lu Sheng, causing a surge of resentment to well up within him.
Haiji Dao glanced at him and replied calmly, "What I mean is that Immortal physiques are indeed remarkable compared to ordinary Physiques and they possess an unparalleled advantage in cultivation. However, once one enters level 13, this advantage is rapidly diminished, even... completely erased."
Upon hearing Haiji Dao's words, a sudden flash of inspiration struck Lu Sheng, and he blurted out, "The Law Powers?!"
A hint of undisguised admiration flashed in Haiji Dao's eyes as he nodded, "Yes. The reason the Immortal Physiques are so powerful is that they are born with a latent Power of Law within their body. This is a gift from the universe, something to be envied. Before reaching level 13, this power is enough to easily grant them unparalleled strength within their own level. Even the ability to fight opponents of higher levels. However, once reaching level 13, this advantage is quickly erased, because every level 13 powerhouse wields Law Powers. Unless they are born with an exceptionally strong Law Power, once they reach level 13, they are not much different from any other level 13 powerhouse."
"In other words," Haiji Dao, looking at Anon Turing beside him, calmly stated, "I could also be considered to have an Immortal-level Extraordinary Physique. Moreover, it's an Immortal-level Extraordinary Physique which has already reached its complete form. Anon, now you know why, even if you give it your all, you can't be a true level 13 powerhouse's opponent for now, right?"
"Uh..."
Anon Turing seemed somewhat stunned by Haiji Dao's explanation, as if unable to fully digest or accept it for a moment. Perhaps fearing that he would be too devastated, Haiji Dao added, "Of course, those born with an Immortal Physique aren't entirely without advantages upon reaching level 13. After all, your accumulation at level 12 is still there. If you're lucky enough, based on your accumulation of the power of rules at levels 11 and 12, you can comprehend a second Law Power faster than ordinary level 13 individuals."
Lu Sheng now fully understood. Haiji Dao continued. "Simply put, those born with an Immortal physique are born with one Law, and as long as they don't perish prematurely, they will reach level 13. However, the requirement for ordinary people to advance to level 13 is also to master one Law, so Immortal-level beings don't have a significant advantage once that level is reached. At most, they can save more time and energy than other level 13 individuals, and then use that time and energy to comprehend a second Law. Of course, this requires a bit of foresight. That's roughly the gist of it."
Anon Turing felt slightly better. He glanced at Lu Sheng subconsciously and asked—unable to resist, "What about the Monarch-level above Immortal?"
Haiji Dao pondered for a moment, then said, "The gap between Immortal-level and Monarch-level is huge. Immortal-level Physiques are also divided into levels. Not every Immortal-level being is born with only one Law. Powerful Immortal-level beings may be born with two or even three Laws."
"What?!" Anon Turing couldn't help but exclaim, his face showing deep astonishment.
Lu Sheng's expression also trembled. Born with one Law wasn't enough; there were two or three. Such talent was simply too exaggerated. Even he wanted to sincerely sigh. Heaven is truly biased! He possesses a Dream Space universe, from which he could continuously inherit the Law Powers comprehend by others, thus mastering them early on. And even after all this time, he only has two. Some people are born with three or even more Laws within them. This is infuriating!
As he sighed, he heard Haiji Dao continue, "But even a peak-level Immortal-level being born with four laws... is still inferior to the most basic Monarch-level Blood."
"Why?" Anon Turing's eyes widened as he asked.
"Because," Haiji Dao slowly said, "No matter how powerful an Immortal-level being is, no matter how many laws they've mastered, they still need to construct their own Law Body, and like ordinary Level 13 martial artists, they still face the threshold of advancing from Level 13 to Level 14. But a Monarch-level being is different. They are born with at least three or more Laws. And once their Physique matures, they can construct their own Law Body, advancing to Martial Dao level 14 without any hindrance."
"Hiss—" Upon hearing his words, Anon Turing immediately gasped, his handsome face filled with profound shock. Although Lu Sheng's reaction wasn't nearly as exaggerated, he was still somewhat moved.
"So, you underestimated Monarch-level extraordinary physiques. Although the Chief Star Elder and I agree that Lu Sheng has a very high probability of possessing a Monarch-level Physique, we can't rule out the possibility that he's merely a higher-level Immortal. After all, so far, he's only revealed one type of law power."
As he spoke, Haiji Dao looked at Lu Sheng with a questioning gaze, seemingly wanting him to reveal more of his trump cards. Unfortunately, Lu Sheng completely ignored Haiji Dao's gaze, pretending not to see it.
Still reeling from the shock, Anon Turing murmured, "The Monarch level is already this powerful, so what about the Sovereign level? And what about the Eternity level, which surpasses the Sovereign level?"
Haiji Dao replied, "The Sovereign level surpasses the Monarch level, naturally possessing its own strengths. The advantage of the Sovereign level is its ability to autonomously grow to Martial Dao level 15, without any obstacles in its cultivation."
"Advancing to level 15 without any obstacles?!" Anon Turing's expression turned incredulous. He swallowed hard and slowly asked, "A born Galaxy Lord?"
"That's right."
Haiji Dao nodded in agreement, saying, "Our current Lord of the Heavenly Serpent Galaxy has a Sovereign-level Extraordinary Physique. And to this date he is the only one in our Galaxy. As for the Eternity level…" he shook his head, adding, "I've only heard of this level; I don't understand the power of the Eternity level. It's estimated that only a Star Domain could nurture an Eternity-level being."
A shock. An unparalleled, immense shock. Anon Turing was speechless, sitting in his seat with a complex expression. Lu Sheng was slightly better off. His mind was racing. Could his mentor, Yang Yizhou, the Lord of the Celestial Billow Star Domain, possibly have an Eternity-level Extraordinary Physique?
Or perhaps, not Eternity level, but comparable to Eternity level. Or maybe beyond Eternity level.
