But he didn't have time for the jaw-dropping moment because he was going through excruciating pain. Jax had his fingers interlocked and bent backward in a grip that felt like a hydraulic press. Draven didn't have the strength to break free. All he could manage were some weak protests and muffled screams.
And while locked in that grip he watched his own pyroball sail right through the space where the invisible chamber was supposed to be. Through it. As if nothing was ever there.
Then a voice rang in his mind to make the nightmare official.
