The moment Leo activated his talent, the thick, yellowish veins across the 4-meter-wide beastcore started to glow with bright yellow light that strongly resembled the Aura from Nyxa's skill.
After that, the beastcore started to melt away while its essence began to seep directly into the ground and into Howl.
Thankfully, the beastcore was just a step below the two-major-rank gap. That is, it was Low 5-star while Howl was Mid 3-star. If the beastcore had been High 5-star—meaning two major ranks above Howl—there was a high chance of adverse side effects.
And just like Leo had told Lily to warn everybody about the earthquake, Howl's body started to shake a bit, sending tremors across the whole territory. The water in the pools splashed here and there as the fish panicked.
Even Thalvyr and Cindriss woke up from their meditative state.
