"Us girls??" Vivian looked at him with some suspicion. He seemed to know quite a bit about girls, and with his good looks, although his grades weren't great, surely lots of girls at school liked him?
Ethan Hayes felt a bit unnatural under her questioning gaze, so he cleared his throat and braced himself: "Yeah, my mom and my cousin, they both love these sweet little cakes. Why, don't you like them?"
Vivian stared at him for a moment, finally shifting her gaze from his handsome face to the small cake in front of her.
The cake seemed to be a piece of cheesecake, with a slightly burnt, rich cheese topping glistening enticingly under the light, accompanied by a delicate little spoon with an adorable cactus design at the end of its handle.

Although the cake looked delicious and tempting, for some reason, she had a bad feeling about it.
"You're not going to eat it?" Ethan blinked his eyes, looking at her with a pitiful expression, his dark, deep eyes filled with expectation as he softly said, "This is really my way of apologizing to you. I've given you my favorite cake, are you still angry?"

Vivian looked at Ethan's delicate and handsome face and his innocent and pitiful look. For some reason, the image of a little puppy wagging its tail popped into her mind.
After a moment of hesitation, Vivian reached out and picked up the delicate little spoon.
Ethan's gaze was fixed on the hand holding the spoon. Watching as the spoon moved towards the cake, watching as she scooped out a small piece of cake, and just as she was about to lift it to her mouth, Vivian's movements suddenly stopped.
"What's wrong?" Ethan asked her nervously.
Vivian looked at the cake on her spoon and then at Ethan's slightly nervous expression, suddenly turning the spoon towards Ethan's mouth, "Better for you to have it."
Ethan was slightly stunned, not expecting her to bring the cake to his mouth, and he panicked for a moment, a slight blush appearing on his fair cheeks as he said, "No... it's alright, this is for you, I couldn't possibly eat it."
"But you just said this is your favorite cake. A gentleman shouldn't take what others love, so it's better for you to eat it." Vivian blinked her eyes and nudged the spoon closer to Ethan's mouth, her voice clear.

He didn't want to eat this cake!!
Ethan instinctively leaned back, his expression full of resistance.
Watching his expression, Vivian had a pretty good idea of what was going on. She withdrew her hand with the spoon, re-examined the cake in front of her for a moment, and then directly dug through the layer of cheese, revealing a large cockroach nestled within the fluffy cake.
Even though he knew the cockroach in the cake was fake, Ethan couldn't help but feel a chill when he saw its shiny black shell.
He instinctively turned to look at Vivian, who, unfazed and unflustered, calmly pinched the big cockroach with her fingers.
