No matter how calm and rational he usually was, in front of South Grant, that calmness completely fell apart.
Nathan Foster composed himself, then pushed the door open and went in.
South Grant indeed wasn't asleep yet, he was leaning against the headboard, lost in thought.
Seeing Nathan Foster open the door and come in, South Grant lowered his head and eyes without saying a word.
Nathan Foster walked to the bed, tossed his coat aside, pulled back the quilt, and got in, then reached out to turn off the light and pulled her over.
South Grant didn't struggle, instead, he smoothly lay in his embrace, then asked softly:
"Not angry anymore?"
"Still angry."
"If you're angry, why did you come back?"
Hearing his question, Nathan Foster pinched her face, "Afraid someone might take advantage of the situation."
South Grant was taken aback, "Afraid of who?"
