I opened my eyes and all I could see was darkness and bunch of shiny dots and then my vision cleared and I saw a vast darkness with hundreds no thousands of what looked to be stars connected by lines it looked like a spider web.
'So this the nightmare spell somehow I expected an eldritch horror more

I cackled actually cackled like a maniac as I saw my Innate ability but that quickly stopped when I thought about it 'will I able to control what I hear and feel at first or even ever?' Still a smile on my face did not lesser "I will control it" I said simply.

Nothing happened and then like a wave crashing down I felt it something inside growing like a small flame into an inferno, but rather than pain it felt nice like it was meant to be there all along.
Everything felt better his malnourished form became more healthy his pale skin becoming more lively his slightly pale hair from constant stress became blonde once more everything was just better even my eyesight.
And then i saw it a massive forest and a a massively tall tower on which he stood on top of
And in the sky was a single massive sun although it did look more grey 'my soul sea.. is the forest of death??? That's totally not strange and the weird sun is my core I'm assuming looks to be made out of wind like a rasenshuriken explosion' I stared at it for a while and then noticed a couple of orbs orbiting the core 'my memories I'm guessing that's gonna be nice when I have like 20 of them'
I didint feel like ever leaving this place, I never needed to be on guard here never stressed just peace I sighed 'well I'm gonna wake up any second mind as well get ready'

I walked in the police station apparently another kid got infected and the awakened were running thin.
Finally I got to the basement and walked in to see 2 boys strapped in one she knew it was that kid caught in the "hub" incident she caught and talked to him herself after all..'2 years in a the first nightmare must be hell' she sighed and grabbed a chair to sit on the other boy was short had black hair and was lookin very malnourished 'perhaps another Outskirts kid' she frowned ' hopefully he doesn't kick the bucket and summon a creature.
I finally got some food and just finished when the black haired boy stirred I stared at him intensly till I could confirm he was human.
As I was talking to the now named sunless but he preffered to be called sunny about the stuff he is entitled to like therapy and the awakened academy
A cop ran to me he looked like he saw a ghost.
"Master Jet!" He shouted like he wasn't 20 steps away, I scowled " what do you want can't you see I'm busy ?" The cop did not back down "master jet the other infected he woke up!" My eyes widened as I looked at sunny "stay here I got business" He simply nodded back confused about why this mu h fuss was happening about a single sleeper.
(brat's pov)
As I woke up I saw no one in sight 'strange' I mused
I shouted "HEY IM AWAKE RELEASE ME"
no one came ofcourse I will have to sit here and wait in this weird restraining bed chair thing.
'Hm can I break out of this eith my wind?'
"Let's see here"
As I focused on my abilities and summoned the wind the air seemed to turn visible as if it almost turned fully solid I stared at it and commanded it 'break these restraints, and it did *boom* a small wind bomb went off and I was smacked into a wall.
'Success although I hoped it would cut them off'
As I stood up I leaned my head sideways I could hear about 20 different sets of footsteps of which 1 was noticeably faster. 'So that's what it meant by listening to the wind this will be useful indeed'
As I went to the now opened door and walked outside of it I was met with a somewhat familiar face. "Master jet good to see you alive" I said like there wasn't anything weird about the situation
She just stared at me " You're awake" she simply said straightening her back " I am how long has it been?" I confirmed needlessly and asked
She stared at me for a while enough time for the other people to arrive "it has been two years since you entered your first nightmare" I stared at her blankly 'logical I guess' I've basically lived another person's life "expected" I said making her raise her eyebrow "let's go ill take you to the showers your reek of nightmare" I nodded at her
As I walked in the whole cafeteria quited every single cop staring at me 'annoying' I glared at them
And they went back to their own business, I looked around looking for master Jet she stood up and waved me over as I walked to her slowly I slightly leaned my head to the right listening I could hear Jet speaking to another boy ' Sunless I realized that's good' " listen sunny this kid has had a rough time in the nightmare he spent 2 years in it and was 14 when hot infected so don't anything too crazy"
Sunny stared at Master Jet like she had grown a second head "Alright" he finally answered.
Finally I arrived and sat down and blatantly checked her out, she stared at me " you also staring at my breasts now ?" She asked slowly standing up as to not bring attention to the action
"Yes I am" She just stared for a moment and then tried to smack me only for her to miss as I leaned back she stared " you actually dodged that?" I just looked at her "obviously" and then I turned to Sunless "Hello Sunless long time no see" He stared at me "do I know you ?" He asked deadpanining I stared at him " not really but we have met in the outskirts a couple of years back" I finally answered, he simply nodded "sorry don't remember you " he wasn't lying I could tell somehow "understandable" I turned to Master Jet
"I refuse all psychological counseling and would like to attend the awakened academy"
Master Jet leaned back on the chair and asked "you sure" "I am sure" I answered not waiting even a second she nodded and turned to sunny "you?"
Sunny obviously wasn't stupid and said "same as him"

Sunless asked me an interesting question
"So what's your name?" I stared at him blankly actually considering the question Master Jet was obviously also listening in " you can call me Naruto".
