Hearing Ryōsuke's words, a glimmer of light began to return to Gaara's eyes.
He recalled past encounters; even when he was attacked and failed to react in time, the sand would still protect him.
He had always believed it was the monster inside him providing that protection, but to his surprise, it wasn't.
Thinking back to those moments, he realized he truly hadn't felt the bizarre chakra fluctuations of the monster within him.
"Is what you're saying true?"
Ryōsuke replied,
"Whether it's true or not, you should know best."
"So, how about it? Do you want to follow me and seek out a new life? This is also your mother's wish. She named you Gaara because she naturally hoped you would love yourself and live well."
"I imagine you don't want to stay in a village like this anymore, either."
Gaara thought back to what his uncle had once told him. His name was indeed chosen because his mother loved him.
All those hateful words spoken later were nothing but lies.
He didn't want to stay in that kind of village anymore, either.
Since his uncle and his mother wanted him to live a good life, he naturally shouldn't let them down. Although it would be difficult, he would try his best.
His eyes regained their spirit, and looking at Ryōsuke, he was ready to agree.
The man before him had revealed the truth and untied the knot in his heart. Following a guy like this would at least be far better than following his father.
Right at that moment, Temari woke up nearby. Looking at Gaara, she hurriedly said,
"Gaara, don't believe him! He wants to steal the village's Tailed Beast."
Gaara instantly jolted, his willingness to agree sinking back down as he looked at the man before him with a hint of caution.
Ryōsuke felt a bit speechless. He had been so close to winning Gaara over.
And now Temari had actually ruined it.
He said helplessly,
"Why would I want the Tailed Beast inside you? I'm sure you saw it too—even your inhuman father was easily beaten to the ground by me. I am very strong."
"Besides, even your sister Temari is going to become one of my people."
"So, how about it? Do you want to follow me?"
Hearing these words, a sense of gratification actually rose in Gaara's heart.
It was true; his father had been beaten into the dirt, the same father who had always been able to suppress his rampages in the past.
It was impossible for the man in front of him to covet the Tailed Beast inside him.
"I am willing."
Hearing Gaara agree, Temari felt incredibly disappointed.
This idiot brother of hers had actually been fooled so easily.
But in truth, she couldn't really blame him.
Today's events had probably made Gaara completely lose faith in their father. To actually force his own uncle to commit suicide just to test Gaara's emotional stability...
Even she felt it was far too cruel.
However, it was absolutely impossible for this man to make her follow him.
"Wishful thinking! I will absolutely never follow you. I am the daughter of the Fourth Kazekage."
Ryōsuke looked at her and said indifferently,
"That is not up to you."
*As long as she grows up and bears children, she will naturally be considered mine.*
*Well, my business here is done. It's time to send these two to the Leaf Village and get them properly settled.*
*Then I'll head to the Rain Village and gouge out Nagato's Rinnegan. With that done, Madara probably won't be able to resurrect.*
Ryōsuke directly used the Rinnegan to open a portal, and a gateway appeared in front of them.
He led Temari and Gaara straight through it.
This teleportation was perfectly precise, stopping right inside his own courtyard.
Temari and Gaara were both extremely astonished; the sensation was incredibly magical.
In an instant, they had gone from the dust-filled desert to this kind of residential dwelling, and they observed their surroundings.
There were houses not far away in every direction, and further out lay a lush, green forest. They knew immediately that this could absolutely not be the desert.
Temari was even more shaken inwardly. Not only was this guy powerful, but he also possessed such an ultra-long-distance spatial teleportation ninjutsu.
She had never even heard of such a ninjutsu in the Sand Village.
It made her extremely curious about this man.
Ryōsuke led Temari and Gaara into the house, where they saw Yugito Nii sitting inside.
He introduced them,
"This is Temari, the daughter of the Sand Village's Fourth Kazekage. I'll leave her in your care. She will be of great use in the future."
Yugito Nii immediately agreed,
"Understood, I will. You'll have to stay here obediently from now on, so don't make things difficult for your big sister."
She was the Two-Tails Jinchūriki; taking care of a little girl was an incredibly simple task.
Even if she was the daughter of the Fourth Kazekage, not to mention she was still so young.
However, this guy Ryōsuke really did things on a grand scale. He had previously captured the granddaughter of the Third Tsuchikage, and now he had captured the daughter of the Fourth Kazekage.
Every single thing he did left her shocked, but none of it was her concern. Now, she was simply Ryōsuke's woman.
In truth, there was no need to worry. Ryōsuke's methods were becoming increasingly omnipotent.
Even if people found out, what could they do?
After settling Temari in, Ryōsuke left with Gaara.
*It's better to raise Gaara in another location. Those two guys over there should become good friends with him.*
Left behind in the room, Temari looked at the woman before her, feeling extremely surprised.
Wasn't this person the Cloud Village's Two-Tails Jinchūriki, famous throughout the shinobi world?
Because the Cloud Village had been defeated, she was staying in the Leaf Village as a captive.
She still couldn't quite believe it. In the blink of an eye, she had gone from the Sand Village to the Uchiha Clan in the Leaf Village.
She opened her mouth and asked,
"Could this place be the Leaf Village?"
Yugito Nii smiled and said,
"You're quite smart, little one. This is naturally the Leaf Village."
Since Ryōsuke had placed her here, he probably wasn't afraid of her knowing the situation.
Temari was stunned upon hearing the affirmative answer.
It was actually true. She had just been in the Sand Village thousands of miles away, and in the blink of an eye, she had arrived at the Leaf Village. How could this man possess such immense capability?
Yugito Nii earnestly instructed her,
"From now on, this is your new home. Stay here and behave."
She led her to Kurotsuchi's room.
"You will live here from now on."
After giving her instructions, she left.
Kurotsuchi was sitting idly in the room. She didn't have any friends here either, so looking at the newcomer, she asked with a bit of curiosity,
"Are you a newly joined member?"
She guessed that Lord God King had abducted another kid slightly younger than her.
Temari, however, shook her head.
*What is this organization she's talking about?*
*Is it related to that guy?*
Kurotsuchi immediately understood.
*Then I can't talk to this girl about these matters.*
*The things Lord God King is doing are naturally incredibly great.*
*If it were anyone else, Kurotsuchi would think it was wishful thinking, but this lord's methods are heaven-defying.*
