Meanwhile, Ryōsuke led Gaara, who was carrying his gourd on his back, directly toward Fugaku's house.
Along the way, he looked at the dark circles under Gaara's eyes.
"I almost forgot. The Tailed Beast inside you must be incredibly noisy, preventing you from sleeping peacefully. You have such heavy dark circles under your eyes."
"I'll have a good talk with him."
With that, he activated his Rinnegan, staring into Gaara's eyes as his consciousness entered directly into the Tailed Beast sealing space.
A fat tanuki-like creature was sprawling on all fours.
Noticing the intruder, he instantly went on high alert.
"Who exactly are you? How do you possess the Sage of Six Paths' Rinnegan?"
His piercing voice was extremely grating.
Ryōsuke answered slowly.
"These are my own eyes. The Four-Tails and Five-Tails have already submitted to me. What about you?"
The One-Tail's eyes instantly widened in shock, his mind reeling.
"So what if they submitted? What does that have to do with me, the One-Tail?"
*To think the Four-Tails and Five-Tails would actually submit to someone other than the Sage of Six Paths. What a disgrace to all Tailed Beasts,* he thought, feeling deeply embarrassed for them.
Ryōsuke did not get angry.
"Then how about I give you a sealing space you can freely enter and exit? I could even let you out for a stroll when there's nothing else going on."
The One-Tail wore a look of utter disbelief.
"What did you say? You'd actually let me out for a stroll?"
He had been cooped up in this cramped space for so long that he was bored out of his mind.
But getting out was incredibly difficult. This damn seal, and that Jinchūriki brat—such stubborn willpower.
Even though this person only promised to let him out occasionally, it was an immense temptation for the One-Tail.
Ryōsuke nodded.
"You heard me right. The Four-Tails and Five-Tails have both received this treatment. Of course, they also said I am the one prophesied by the Sage of Six Paths to guide the Tailed Beasts."
The One-Tail instantly recalled the words of the Sage of Six Paths.
*This guy has the Rinnegan. Then isn't he exactly the one meant to guide the Tailed Beasts?*
"I will submit too! Please let me out as well."
He was somewhat desperate.
Ryōsuke looked at the cooperative One-Tail.
"Fine, but we'll talk after I set up a new seal for you. Until then, stay quiet and stop bothering your Jinchūriki. Do you agree?"
"Alright."
The One-Tail agreed immediately. *This person doesn't look like he's lying,* he thought.
Returning to reality, Ryōsuke looked at Gaara's dark circles.
"I've communicated with the Tailed Beast. From now on, you can rest properly. The beast inside you won't harass you anymore."
Gaara was quite surprised. Sure enough, there were no more strange voices echoing in his mind; it had never been this quiet before.
*I can finally get a good night's sleep,* he thought happily.
Before long, Ryōsuke brought Gaara to Fugaku's home.
Fugaku looked at the child beside Ryōsuke, feeling extremely surprised.
*That outfit, and the character for 'love' on his forehead... The more I look at him, the more he resembles the Sand Village's One-Tail Jinchūriki,* he thought.
"Ryōsuke, who is this?"
Ryōsuke had no intention of hiding it.
"I took a trip to the Sand Village and brought him back. He is indeed the One-Tail Jinchūriki, Gaara. His father is completely inhumane, so I want to leave him here with you."
Fugaku's eyes filled with astonishment. It was exactly as he had guessed.
By 'inhumane,' Ryōsuke likely meant the discrimination that Tailed Beast Jinchūriki often faced.
After all, Tailed Beasts were dangerous natural disasters, leaving people constantly on guard and terrified.
Only the Tailed Beast Jinchūriki within the Leaf Village received special treatment.
Still, Ryōsuke was really treating his place like an orphanage.
Thinking of the child's identity, he asked with some concern.
"Ryōsuke, aren't you afraid this will spark a war?"
Hearing the word 'war,' however, Ryōsuke's eyes lit up.
"I actually hope they start a war. If they do, the Leaf Village can directly conquer the Sand Village, and then take over the Land of Wind."
Fugaku was shocked. To think Ryōsuke harbored such ambitions.
Thinking it over, it made sense. The Sand Village probably wouldn't be foolish enough to do so.
But with this, the Leaf Village now had at least three Tailed Beasts.
"Rest assured, I'll have Mikoto take good care of him."
Hearing Mikoto's name naturally put Ryōsuke at ease. Naruto was living very well here.
He was no longer suffering abuse like before, but was instead growing up healthy and strong.
He then added,
"By the way, enroll him in the Leaf Village's Ninja Academy."
Fugaku was a bit surprised to hear this.
*Does he want to completely assimilate the One-Tail Jinchūriki?*
*Perhaps this is another step in Ryōsuke's plan to unify the shinobi world.*
Having another Tailed Beast Jinchūriki grow up here would provide a massive boost in military power, and Ryōsuke had already collected other Tailed Beasts.
*Could he be trying to build a Tailed Beast army?*
Unable to contain his curiosity, he asked,
"Ryōsuke, how many Tailed Beasts have you collected?"
"Nine of them."
Ryōsuke didn't hide the truth.
"Huh?"
Fugaku cried out in shock. He had collected nine? Didn't that mean he had all of the Tailed Beasts?
*What godlike speed! Come to think of it, barely over a month has passed.*
It seemed Ryōsuke's plan had advanced yet another step.
Ryōsuke thought for a moment and continued his instructions.
"Right, make sure no one bullies this kid. He's a bit sensitive and might violently lash out and hurt someone."
He then looked at Gaara and warned him,
"You need to rein in your temper as well. No one here will hate you, nor will anyone try to kill you."
The public security in the Leaf Village was currently excellent.
Naturally, almost no spies dared to infiltrate the Leaf Village anymore.
With the Leaf Village's two major Kekkei Genkai clans serving as the Konoha Military Police Force, it wasn't easy for anyone to sneak in.
Gaara naturally agreed.
"Okay."
Hearing those words, he felt much more relaxed.
He no longer had to live a life of constant fear and anxiety like he did in the Sand Village.
Even with his automatic sand defense, he had always worried about someone popping out of nowhere to attack him.
Since he was starting a new life, he naturally wouldn't act the way he used to.
Fugaku spoke up.
"Don't worry. Under our strict regulations, there aren't many troublemaking brats left. Of course, I'll also have Sasuke and Naruto keep a close eye on things. No one will dare mess with Gaara."
"Sasuke and Naruto are currently the stars of the Ninja Academy. Despite their young age, they've already displayed remarkable talent."
Hearing this guarantee, Ryōsuke naturally felt reassured.
"Good. Gaara, do your best to adapt to your new environment here."
"If anything makes you uncomfortable, talk to Fugaku. If it still can't be resolved, you can come directly to me."
Hearing this, Gaara's heart was completely put at ease.
"Got it."
Fugaku watched Ryōsuke's actions.
*He's trying to completely win over this child,* he thought.
With such care and attention...
Gaara would truly belong to the Leaf Village in the future, rather than the Sand Village.
This boy was also the son of the Fourth Kazekage. He wondered how the Fourth Kazekage would feel upon seeing his own son fighting for the Leaf Village in the future.
Just thinking about it was somewhat amusing.
After leaving the village, Ryōsuke figured it was time to set off for the Rain Village and gouge out Nagato's Rinnegan.
That way, Uchiha Madara shouldn't be able to resurrect. There were no other Rinnegan left in the shinobi world.
Of course, the Ōtsutsuki Clan still had them, but they certainly wouldn't resurrect Uchiha Madara.
