I watch as the Emperor and Isha look at the Black Barrel with a frown on their faces. After a few seconds of silence, Isha looks at me and says.
"What is this, O Savior?"
"Hmmm? This is Black Barrel. A gun that imposes the concept of limited life on any entity it hits, even absolute immortals, will be rendered mortal by this weapon. This weapon is the ultimate weapon against the Parasites. One single hit and it will create devastating damage."
"H-How can your young race create something like this?"
"You underestimate humanity too much, Isha. We are a race that continues to innovate. We are a race that lives short lives, and in our short lives, we will try to achieve the impossible. Even if we cannot reach it, we pass the torch of our creation to the next generation. That is what we are. We are creatures who try to achieve the impossible and achieve what we want."
I touch the Black Barrel and feel it hum on my touch, eager for me to use it.
"This is a weapon created by the Atlas Institute. They are a group of humans who try to create something that allows humanity to fight against Gods or any Immortal Beings in the universe. This weapon is one of the Seven Superweapons of Atlas."
The Emperor looks at me with a glint in his eyes and says.
"Do you know the other six, Old Friend?"
"Hmmm? Not really. I only know one more item: Logos React. It is a Pseudo-Spiriton Computer, a supercomputer capable of calculating the chaotic realm of the Warp. It can record and recreate minds, and through its computational ability, it can calculate multiple possibilities to create countless virtual worlds inside itself."
"Is it Man of Iron?"
"Nope. Surprisingly, no. It requires the human mind to operate instead of Artificial Intelligence. It cannot operate on its own and requires input from humans or at least sentient beings."
I look at the Emperor and continue.
"Like all of the Seven Superweapons, Logos React was created to save humanity, but also has the potential to destroy it if something goes wrong. We are lucky those weapons do not fall into the wrong hands, my friend."
"That it is."
He walks toward the Black Barrel, but stops a few meters away from the weapon. I can see him frowning at the sight in front of him.
"Why? Why does it feel like this?"
"Ah, what you are feeling is the conceptual power of Limited Life. You are immortal, and this weapon is the bane of all immortal life. It will not harm you, but the concept will feel like how Psyker feels when they get near someone with Blank Gene."
"I see."
He takes a step back and continues.
"Then we need to focus on creating this megastructure. Give me the blueprint of this megastructure, and we shall make one."
"We will help, of course~"
I can see the Emperor hesitate, but decides to nod his head in the end. We are currently an ally, and not letting your ally help you is not good.
"Here. I am sending you all the data."
I send the data to the Data-Slate in the Emperor's hand, and I give my Data-Slate to Isha, who happily reads the thing. I don't know if she understands it, but she is a Goddess. She will manage to understand it.
While the two of them are reading the massive amount of data, I look at the Tech Priests who are approaching the Black Barrel and touch the cold metal of the weapon in such reverence that I fear they will create a fucking church around the weapon.
I can even see Belisarius Cawl among the priests who examine the Black Barrel. Each of them uses their scanners to scan the Black Barrel and try to glean anything from the superweapon.
"This… This will work. We need more than one, but this will work."
I snap from my thoughts and nod my head.
"Yeah. We need more than one, but at least we can use this one to reduce the biggest rift into nothing."
"That is true. Then, let's start building. A year. That should be enough to build five of the megastructures."
I blink for a second at that information. A year? He wants to build a massive structure half the size of Luna (Earth's Moon) in a matter of a year? What kind of industry prowess can he produce to make those kinds of things?
Wait, no. That is possible because I remember he started the Great Crusade with only the Tech Priests from Mars as the main Forge World, and they could produce hundreds, or even thousands, of massive spaceships.
And now we have the help of the Eldar, the race that once ruled the entire Galaxy.
Yeah. That is possible, and it also gives me a lot of time to create other things.
"That is good. I will leave that project to you. I will take some to map the Hyperlanes across the Galaxy so we don't need to use the Warp drive as the sole FTL drive."
"Ah, I've heard about that. I will do that to you then."
"And I shall be the one guarding him~."
Before I can react, Isha walks toward me, picks me up, and hugs me tightly. I can see her smug face when she hugs me tightly while the Emperor looks at her with a frown. At least they do not blast out their psychic power; instead, the Emperor looks at me and says.
"Don't awaken your old habit, Old Friend. We have a lot of things to do. We need to focus on humanity's survivability first and foremost. When it is over…"
I look at him for a second and say.
"I don't know what you are talking about, My Emperor. I am but a humble servant of humanity."
He looks at me for a few seconds and nods his head. He then walks toward the others and looks at Guilliman.
"My son, go and inform your realm to mobilize. We shall use your realm as the logistic hub for this project."
"Understood. I shall prepare a plan for this change."
The Emperor smiles a little and look at the Great Khan before saying.
"As for you, I know you want to continue your hunt. However, there is someone you need to locate, my son."
"Who?"
"Your brother, Leman Russ. It is time for the Great Hunt, and the Hawk needs the Wolf. While you rule the wind, your brother shall rule the land."
"Hn."
Jaghatai Khan grunts and nods his head. However, before he walks away, he looks at the Eldars for a second and takes a glance at Isha. I know he hates Eldars, but I have a feeling that he hates the Dark Eldar more than the regular Eldar.
What I learned from the Emperor is that he spends most of his time in the Dark City, fighting against the Dark Eldar and liberating as many slaves as possible.
After grunting one more time, he walked toward the carrier.
Man, it looks like the Emperor really wants to gather his sons once again for one last crusade. This time, it is not the unification of humanity, but rather one last war that will end all—the War Against Chaos.
Right now, it is time for me to work as well. I look up and say.
"Can you put me down?"
"No~"
