The wind blew by, attempting a pale song through the leaves, a choir consisting of snakes.
"We don't have much time", the stranger said. Naruto nodded, still plotting.
"So how do we beat someone who can possibly see into the future, Kurama?", he asked internally.
"Speed", the fox considered.
"Yes, even if he can see into the future, if we could move faster, we can get in some damage", said Naruto. Every now and then, a picture of his dad flashed by in his mind like an advertising banner on a swiftly moving bus. A yellow bus, I might add.
"Just because he knows it's coming doesn't mean he can move fast enough to dodge it", Kurama felt quite energized by this battle. It had been a long while since he'd had to rack his brain so much. "But our opponent has constantly proved he's just as fast or faster than you. Do you think you can go even faster?"
"Maybe, but he probably could too", Naruto said as he played different brawling simulations in his head.
"We could conjure up a Tailed Beast Bomb large enough to prevent him from escaping its range, even with his high speed", Kurama added, "speed loses value when the size of the attack increases."
"Yes", Naruto said, hesitating. That image of his dad still lingered in his head. What would the Yellow Flash do in a situation like this?
"There must be a time limit", he started as he connected the thoughts in his head, "to his future sight. He can't definitely see all the way into the future. He would've known of our coming and dealt with the boar differently if that were so."
"Five, ten seconds maybe?", Kurama contributed, "Is there a way to know for sure? To measure?"
"Could be, but let's assume he can see into the future for a minute and that it would not be possible for him to focus on this future sight when he's busy dodging our attacks."
Kurama smiled at hearing this. The boy never failed to surprise him. He always kept coming up with something. Being with Naruto was a privilege and a blessing.
"So the plan would be to create enough shadow clones hidden away to form a continuous barrage of surprise attacks that could outlast a minute", continued Naruto, "if he survives all that, we hit him with one more final attack, which would be the largest Tailed Beast Bomb we can muster up."
"And you hit him up close with as much speed as you can possibly move in", the fox said proudly, "so the first option is speed. The second is the size of the attack to negate the opponent's speed. And the third is to prolong a continuous surprise barrage that can negate the opponent's future sight. What we plan to do is a combination of all three of these options."
"They'll call me the Orange Flash after this", said Naruto.
