**New York City.**
**Central Park.**
Tony Stark and Hawkeye Barton strolled leisurely along a tree-shaded path, appearing like old friends out for a casual walk.
"Stark, I owe you a huge favor. A massive one."
Barton spoke with genuine sincerity, his voice tinged with barely concealed fear.
Not long ago, Tony had mysteriously warned him that someone was targeting his family, but he'd been evasive about the source of the intelligence.
This had left Barton deeply unsettled.
However, considering Tony's status and the impossibility of him joking about such matters, especially concerning family, Barton had taken thorough precautions.
After all, this was about his family.
Though Barton in Universe-1610 differed somewhat from the one in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, his devotion to his family remained unchanged.
Family was Barton's Achilles' heel.
After receiving the Playboy's warning, Barton hadn't dared to be careless for a moment, remaining on high alert.
In the end, Barton's decision to heed Stark's advice proved to be an absolutely correct one.
Because the assassination attempt at Barton's home had actually happened.
If they hadn't been prepared in advance, the consequences would have been unimaginable!
Even now, Barton shuddered at the thought.
Given all this, Barton's gratitude toward the Playboy was self-evident.
"Of course, I saved your family!" Tony said matter-of-factly, not bothering to be polite.
According to the "prophecy" in that magical diary, if he hadn't intervened, the entire Barton family would have been wiped out.
Tony wasn't exaggerating at all.
"But where exactly did you get this information? Can you tell me now?" Barton asked again after expressing his gratitude.
"Buddy, I'm Tony Stark!" Tony shrugged, avoiding the question. "There's nothing I can't do."
It wasn't that Tony was showing off. He simply couldn't reveal the magical diary.
Seeing Tony's unwillingness to elaborate, Barton didn't press further.
"Have you identified the killer?" the Playboy asked next.
Truth be told, he knew it was Black Widow, but how could he make such a baseless accusation?
Tony believed Barton hadn't discovered the truth yet. Otherwise, why would Black Widow still be so intimately involved with him?
Despite her failure, she had escaped completely unscathed, leaving no trace of her involvement.
*Truly the Black Widow!*
"I'll find her eventually," Barton growled fiercely. As Tony had predicted, he hadn't identified the culprit.
But Tony didn't care about such trivialities.
After all, the culprit was already under his control!
From the Hulk's identity being exposed and his execution to Thor being declared insane, captured by the Ultimate Team, and imprisoned by S.H.I.E.L.D., and now the attack on Barton's home—
Every event had unfolded exactly as the Diary had predicted, with perfect accuracy.
The Diary's intelligence was beyond doubt.
Tony had no doubts about its contents.
Therefore, he was utterly convinced that Black Widow was the mastermind behind it all.
Under such circumstances, how could Tony have remained unprepared?
Just as the Diary had described, he gifted Black Widow a new suit of Iron Man Armor and injected her with nanobots.
But those nanobots... Tony had tampered with them long ago!
Tony remained constantly on guard.
He could have dealt with Black Widow at any moment if he chose to.
The only reason he held back was to wait for her to reveal herself.
After all, Black Widow had always been a vital member of the Ultimate Team, and they had fought side-by-side for years. Her covert schemes had left no trace, leaving the Playboy with no choice but to wait passively.
Fortunately, the Diary's warning had allowed him to prepare everything in advance. He could confidently say that everything was under his control.
The only regret was that he couldn't prevent Thor's capture.
Although the Diary convinced him that Thor wasn't insane, the rest of the Ultimate Team refused to believe it, and their leader, Nick Fury, was even more skeptical.
Compounding the problem was Tony's inability to explain the source of his intelligence.
Under these circumstances, how could he persuade the Ultimate Team to abandon their operation?
It was simply impossible.
The only thing Tony could do was withdraw from the pursuit of Thor.
Yet even so, after a fierce battle with Thor in Norway, the Ultimate Team still managed to capture him.
The main reason was Quicksilver's incredible speed. He snatched Thor's belt at a speed no one could react to.
That belt was the source of Thor's power.
Once it was removed, Thor became completely ordinary. Not only could he no longer fight, but he couldn't even lift his hammer.
And so, he was locked away in prison.
Fortunately, Tony knew how things would play out. He knew Thor's imprisonment was temporary and that he would soon become the true Thunder God. There was no need for him to intervene.
He just needed to wait patiently.
"Perhaps I'll find her first," Tony said, giving Barton a mysterious smirk.
"I said 'her,' but you don't seem surprised. Do you know something?" Barton asked, his eyes narrowing sharply at Stark.
It wasn't about sexism, but the "profession" of assassin was still predominantly male. Female assassins were relatively rare.
Just as Tony was about to continue teasing Barton, his expression suddenly shifted.
He could clearly sense that the Diary had updated once again.
"Barton, excuse me for a moment."
The Playboy had no interest in continuing his idle chat with Barton. After a perfunctory greeting, he hurried away.
He called for his driver to bring the car over. The moment Tony slid into the back seat, he immediately focused his mind and accessed the Diary interface.
As expected, it had already updated.
"Liberator?"
Tony's eyebrows arched slightly as he immediately noticed this term.
Given the full-scale invasion, it seemed the "Liberator" here referred not to an individual, but to an organization or group.
Clearly, another scheme concocted by Loki!
The Diary confirmed this.
It then revealed the group's composition: ordinary people, a superhuman team, and an Ultron legion.
Although the Diary didn't specify the numbers within each faction, Tony's brow furrowed.
Big trouble!
This was undeniably a colossal problem.
While the ordinary people could be temporarily set aside, the superhuman team and the Ultron legion immediately captured the Playboy's full attention.
Tony, being a superhuman himself and a member of the Avengers, knew how troublesome such groups could be.
*But were there any other powerful superhumans in New York?*
The Playboy's mind raced, but he couldn't recall any.
Then he shook his head. *That proves nothing. New York is so vast, who knows how many superhumans are hiding there?*
*Even that embarrassment Hank recently joined a group called the Defenders, didn't he?*
Given Loki's identity, Tony wouldn't dare underestimate any superhuman team, regardless of its nature.
Not to mention the robot army!
The sheer scale of this force was enough to make his blood run cold!
To put it bluntly, even S.H.I.E.L.D. might not be able to handle it, and neither might the Ultimate Team.
And to make matters worse, Loki had already sowed discord within the Ultimate Team before unleashing such overwhelming power. If Tony hadn't intervened, the Ultimate Team would have been almost completely neutralized.
Loki launched the Liberator invasion under these circumstances.
So, what was he really trying to achieve?
It seemed his true goal had nothing to do with the Ultimate Team.
The Ultimate Team was merely an obstacle in his way, which is why he'd moved to eliminate them first.
But now...
With Tony's intervention, the situation was bound to change.
Barton was safe, Captain America hadn't been framed, and Black Widow's initial attempt was always doomed to fail. The only question was whether Loki would make any other moves.
After running through these thoughts, Tony refocused on the Diary.
The part about Hank offering Ultron to Tony and being refused was nothing new; Tony already knew that.
As for Wanda teasing Ultron, Tony had no idea, but he didn't dwell on it. It was probably just Wanda acting on a whim out of boredom.
It didn't mean anything.
But how could Wanda teasing Ultron have triggered a bloody incident?
Wait a minute!
Just a single question was enough for the Playboy to suddenly realize: Could the Diary be referring to Ultron's assassination attempt on Wanda that was mentioned earlier?
Could it be that Ultron fell in love with Wanda because of that?
Well, that's truly a "star-crossed" romance.
Then the mention of Magneto reversing the Earth's magnetic poles must be related to Ultron's plan to destroy the world using Magneto as his pawn?
Everything fit together perfectly. It seemed he had the right idea.
So, the key to all of this was Wanda teasing Ultron?
When Hank gifted Ultron to Nick Fury?
Why didn't the Diary mention this sooner?!
The Playboy was instantly filled with regret.
If he had known the root of the problem lay here, he could have prevented Wanda from teasing Ultron when Hank made the gift.
But now, it was too late.
This is truly a tragic and utterly absurd love triangle.
Can you believe that Ultron decided to use Magneto to wipe out all of humanity solely out of jealousy towards Quicksilver?!
Hahaha, what a tangled mess of a relationship.
Even more chaotic is the fact that while these two are publicly known as Magneto's children, they might actually be Wolverine's! Wolverine himself admitted it!
Meanwhile, Magneto once sent Wolverine to assassinate Quicksilver, only for Wanda to casually summon a few dinosaurs and stop him.
True to form, Wanda's power is far greater than her counterpart in Universe 199999.
Of course, this is before her dark turn.
What the hell?!
What the hell is going on?!
Tony Stark from Universe 199999 was completely stunned, utterly shaken by the Diary's bombshell of spoilers.
In the other universe, are Wanda and Quicksilver really in *that* kind of relationship?
The Playboy was so flabbergasted he didn't know what to say beyond a stunned exclamation.
But as he read on, Tony's mouth twitched uncontrollably, his mind spiraling into utter chaos once more.
The Playboy could never have imagined that these two, along with Magneto, actually shared such an unusual "connection" with Wolverine!
If he remembered correctly, Wolverine was an X-Man!
And Magneto?
A major villain who had repeatedly crushed the X-Men.
Yet, could these two actually have such an "intimate" relationship?
Magneto was actually assigning missions to Wolverine, making it seem as though Wolverine were his subordinate!
If he remembered correctly, wasn't Wolverine clearly an X-Man?
In the TRN414 Universe, he had even fought Magneto, who impaled him with rebar and sank him into a lake.
Who would have thought that in the Ultimate Universe, he would be taking orders from Magneto?
And what the hell was with Magneto sending Wolverine to kill Quicksilver?
Wasn't Quicksilver Magneto's son?
Could there have been some hidden circumstances or misunderstandings back then, where Magneto didn't know Quicksilver was his own child?
In an instant, a barrage of questions flashed through Tony's mind, utterly bewildering him.
The relationships in this other universe are truly a tangled mess.
The Playboy didn't know what to say.
But Wanda's power was as formidable as ever—she could even summon dinosaurs!
Dinosaurs, of all things? That's a bit over the top, isn't it?
Of course, with Tony's current abilities, he didn't really see dinosaurs as much of a threat. They posed little danger to him.
The crucial point was the Diary's mention of "summoning," which differed from Wanda's reality-altering magic.
Furthermore, dinosaurs were clearly creatures from the past. This suggested that Wanda in the other universe could communicate with the past.
The Diary was right—this Wanda seemed even more formidable than the one in his own universe.
After all, even the dark version of Wanda, who could project her power across dimensions, couldn't seem to travel through time, right?
It was important to remember that time itself encompassed spatial dimensions.
