After landing, he turned around with a mischievous grin.
"Hehe. Didn't expect me 'not' to trade punches with you, did you?"
The deadly seriousness he'd shown moments ago, claiming he was fighting for the fate of Universe 6, had vanished completely, as if those intense words had been nothing more than a joke.
"No," Super Broly answered calmly. "I didn't."
Only a second later, the Universe 6 Saiyan's expression changed completely. The playful smile disappeared in an instant, replaced by absolute focus and icy determination.
"Now... I'm getting serious." The words came out slowly, one by one.
His aura exploded once again, boiling with immense power that shook everything around him. A blinding flash of golden light burst forth, the brilliance so intense it was almost impossible to look at.
In the blink of an eye, he had already closed the distance and appeared directly in front of Super Broly.

The Universe 6 Saiyan's eyes narrowed. He immediately saw through Super Broly's approach and gave a silent snort, intending to use the same trick again. The moment Super Broly came within range, he lightly pushed off the ground and leaped upward, planning to vault over him and attack from behind once more.
But Super Broly wasn't about to fall for it twice. A sly grin appeared on his face. The instant the Universe 6 Saiyan passed over his head, Super Broly's eyes flashed. He jumped into the air, twisting his body as the veins on his arm bulged. Then he drove his fully powered fist straight upward, right between the other man's legs.
The shameless attack made the Universe 6 Saiyan's eyes go wide. Every hair on his body stood on end.
"Hey! What are you doing?!" His shocked shout echoed through the air.
Even as he yelled, his expression sharpened. In an instant, he poured all his strength into both legs, the muscles in his thighs swelling as he met the attack head-on.
'BOOM!!'
A deafening explosion erupted. It was as if a giant bomb had detonated in midair. The surrounding space rippled visibly, on the verge of collapsing. A violent shockwave burst outward in every direction, flattening everything in its path.
Far away, the previously calm sea exploded into towering waves. The gigantic swells crashed into one another with thunderous roars, sending water spraying high into the sky.
At that very moment, Super Broly was startled. He realized that this man's strength was far beyond anything he had expected. At this instant, their power had reached a perfect balance; the forces from both sides matched each other exactly, canceling one another out. Neither had the upper hand.
Super Broly couldn't help but marvel inwardly. There were almost no fighters capable of matching his Super Saiyan power while using nothing more than an ordinary Super Saiyan transformation. Yet this Saiyan from Universe 6 had done exactly that.
That alone proved... this man was anything but ordinary.
