Chapter 315 - Celebration?

"What the heck? Big sister, explain first before saying goodbye! You're leaving me halfway through, I don't get it!"

Just as Allen was trying to make sense of things, the woman suddenly appeared in front of him again—this time, she jumped down directly, startling him into a brief freeze.

"Oh, by the way, where did you get your snacks?" Her expression made it seem like this question was of utmost importance. Allen instinctively answered, and after a satisfied smile, she disappeared again, leaving Allen standing there utterly confused.

She was too playful—he simply couldn't keep up with her pace!

Well, it was only next weekend. Just a few days away, he could go then—Allen wasn't afraid of them.

While mulling this over, he casually pulled out the dog food he had hidden earlier, tossing it lightly, curiosity creeping in—what does this stuff taste like?

Just as his hand almost brought it to his mouth, he stopped himself. I almost got infected by her craziness… one moment wild, the next pitiful, then domineering, then carefree… she's insane!

Having paused, Allen noticed Valor flying over and silently placing a full bag of dog food into his hand, as if saying, don't worry, there's more here.

Allen rolled his eyes and decided to step away—today just wasn't his lucky day.

Happy times are always short. Before a group of young witches and wizards could enjoy their weekend freely, Sunday evening arrived.

This marked the end of freely spending the weekend, but there were few complaints—everyone had been having too much fun.

Although they didn't know what the professors had been doing that afternoon, never underestimate the energy that a group of mischievous kids can unleash without adult supervision.

Initially, they had been curious—after all, so many professors disappearing suddenly was bound to spark curiosity. But as soon as someone discovered a new way to play, that curiosity transformed into a full-blown festival.

Thanks to the Japanese hosts smoothing things over, the gaps between the three schools' students didn't disappear entirely, but were greatly reduced. However, students from Ilvermorny and Hogwarts still barely interacted.

Yet that afternoon, all barriers vanished completely.

It all started with a small prank.

While out shopping, a young wizard, driven by curiosity, bought a bunch of tiny balloons. He didn't really know why, but under the shopkeeper's persuasive words, his pockets emptied of coins without him noticing.

On the way back, he suddenly had a bold idea.

He inflated one balloon with magic, cast a spell that sent out floating streamers, and boldly approached a girl he had a crush on. Then, he made the balloon "accidentally" pop above her head.

Although a minor intentional mishap, it successfully broke the ice.

Originally, it was nothing, but a group of idle young wizards returning to school noticed, especially the boy's close friends. They mischievously grabbed the balloons and started creating similar explosions. Soon, bystanders were drawn in, watching as this colorful balloon-and-streamer trick caught on.

Did they start teasing the boy and girl about being together?

No—they simply grabbed a ton of balloons and used magic to make them float and explode in the air.

The highlight was a balloon that burst into countless magical stars. Others quickly imitated and showed off their own spells—suddenly, the campus was alive with exploding balloons and magical effects.

Despite all the chaos, no professors arrived to stop them. Normally, the ones making the most trouble would have been sent to detention. But the professors weren't there—except for a few at the Hogwarts camp keeping watch, all Ilvermorny staff were out handling the mess Allen had caused.

With no adults around, the students plunged deeper into the revelry. Because the atmosphere was already jubilant, no conflicts arose—instead, some formed little "dog food delivery squads."

Various magical tools—normally confiscated immediately—were unleashed across the campus.

The group continued their antics until they wore themselves out, leaving behind utter chaos—discarded food, celebratory drinks, including a large amount of alcoholic beverages.

By the time the professors returned, the school was a mess.

Apart from a few drunken students found lying in corners, the main culprits had vanished—frustrating the staff who had just dealt with a major problem.

The Hogwarts camp was safer—professors were present, so students hadn't gone wild there.

When Allen returned, he was utterly baffled—most of his friends were drunk.

"Hey hey—Allen, why didn't you come join the fun? We even arranged to talk with some of Ilvermorny's girls tonight," slurred Marshall, patting his head as if remembering something.

"Oh, and Allen, your friend earlier looked really fierce. When we reported to the professor, she mysteriously told us not to say anything. When we came back, she gave us instructions at length—if we hadn't quickly hidden things with magic, we might have gotten caught today. But I think the professor saw it all, and she looked really happy—tsk tsk, you little rascal!"

One thousand Galleons—well, Allen was still happy. He had been told not to reveal it, as the number wasn't something that could be faked. He gave a knowing expression and joined the "battle."

"Try this—Ilvermorny sent it over, super good!"

Wait… they sent you alcohol?

"Haha, you didn't know? The professor wasn't around today, so we went wild—drank a lot this afternoon!"

Oh… so the professors weren't around?

"How many drinks?"

"Lots! Everyone brought their stash, and it was a blast!"

A sense of impending trouble crept up—just in time, a commotion outside signaled more chaos incoming.
