"Dad," he said, his voice suddenly human. "Mom."

Though he was a newborn, the fragment of Linlin's soul within him granted immediate understanding. He knew Linlin demanded her children call her "Mom." He knew Newgate expected "Dad" from his sons.

"Gurararara!" Newgate boomed, his grin splitting his face. "A Supreme Grade Sword as a son? Why not? From now on, you are Murakumo Giri!"
Newgate looked at the sword in his hand. He no longer saw a weapon, but a child. "I swear on Whitebeard's name, no one will break you again. Not even Rosen."
"Don't worry, Dad," Murakumo Giri replied, his voice brimming with confidence. "I'm indestructible now. Only Mom can destroy me."
"Then he is my enemy too," Murakumo Giri declared, loyalty burning in his voice.
Rosen watched the exchange with cold curiosity. The Soul-Soul Fruit had done the impossible, turning a blade into a living Homie. But this only made the situation more interesting.

Newgate and his allies breathed easier. They had found Rosen's limit.
