Meanwhile, just as Si Shu had thought, the demonized Ijiri was heading toward the Soryu Dojo. After obtaining a large amount of nourishment, revenge had become his primary goal.

The corners of his mouth stretched into a crazed grin, his scarlet eyes filled with a lust for slaughter. He would tear those three to shreds, grind their bones to dust. Only then would Koyuki know that he was the strongest, the one most suited for her.
Laughing maniacally, Ijiri turned and arrived in front of the Soryu Dojo. He raised the sword in his hand and swung it down violently. Empowered by the strength of a demon, a visible shockwave appeared with the falling blade, slamming into the dojo's main gate. A howling wind formed a small whirlwind, kicking up a cloud of dust.
Inside the dojo, Tamayo had also sensed that something was wrong outside. As a demon herself, she had naturally detected Ijiri's arrival. Sensing his attack, her face instantly turned pale.
"Everyone, get out of here, quickly!"
With no time to think, she shouted at Hakuji and the others. The other three were stunned. The party was at its peak; for Tamayo to tell them to leave now was a real mood killer. Keizo opened his mouth, as if to say something. However, a piercing explosion cut him off.

The shockwave shattered the dojo's main gate, tearing it to pieces. The remaining force rushed directly into the room where Tamayo and the others were, destroying the entire room. In an instant, the room was turned into a ruin, as if a large bomb had been detonated inside.
"Cough, cough..."
Pushing a wooden beam off himself, Hakuji crawled out from under the rubble. After brushing the dust from his eyes, he was shocked by the scene before him. Not far away, a creature that looked like a monster was slowly walking toward him.
"What... is that thing?"
Seeing a demon for the first time, Hakuji couldn't help but swallow, trying to ease the anxiety in his heart.
"That is a demon. A demon like me. An existence that should not be in this world," Tamayo's voice came from nearby. Turning his head, Hakuji saw her helping Koyuki walk over. Koyuki was unharmed, just a little disheveled from the impact. But Tamayo's condition was much worse. There was a hole where her left eye should have been, and her right forearm was missing entirely. Behind the two of them was Keizo, clutching his swollen arm and gritting his teeth. It seemed he had also been injured in the attack.
Hearing Tamayo's words, Hakuji's brain short-circuited for a moment. He didn't understand what she meant by "demon," nor did he understand how she could be standing there and talking to him after suffering such severe injuries. Shaking his head, Hakuji knew that now was not the time to think about these things.
"You all run! I'll hold him off!"
Pounding his chest, Hakuji declared that he would delay the monster and let Tamayo and the others escape. However, a slender hand grabbed his arm. Looking back, he was surprised to see it was the frail-looking Tamayo. Hakuji never expected that the seemingly weak Tamayo would have such strength. In her hands, he, a young man who had trained in martial arts for many years, was like a fledgling bird.
What shocked Hakuji even more was that her injuries were healing at a speed visible to the naked eye. In a short time, they had completely healed. If not for the bloodstains where her injuries had been, Hakuji would have thought he had seen wrong.
At that moment, he finally understood that Tamayo had not been lying. Neither of them were human, but another kind of life form: a demon.

Just then, Ijiri's voice came. "Fear me! Tremble! Cower under my power and submit!"
With that, Ijiri moved his massive body and charged.
"Get out of the way!" Pushing Hakuji aside, Tamayo swiped a finger across her own arm. "Blood Bewitchment: Aroma of Visual Fantasy."
A sweet, cloying scent spread through the air. After inhaling it, Ijiri felt his mind become sluggish. Strange patterns he had never seen before appeared in his vision, and his eyelids felt heavy.
"This one is a demon too?" He instantly identified Tamayo's nature. Although he didn't recognize her, he knew she was his enemy. Activating his own Blood Demon Art, the patterns on his face lit up. Then, the muscles on his body began to twist, and layers of a white substance turned outward. With every step he took, another layer of the white substance covered his body. After ten steps, a thick suit of bone armor had appeared.
"Your poison... has no effect on me!" a deep voice came from within the bone armor, Ijiri's words filled with pride. The bone armor was formed from his own skeleton turning outward, and it had considerable toughness and resistance. To a certain extent, he could even change the density of the bone armor to reduce air circulation.
Tamayo's Blood Demon Art's effect on him had been reduced to a minimum. Ijiri then raised the sword in his hand. The veins on his arm bulged, and his muscles rippled like earthworms. With this one strike, he would smash Tamayo, Hakuji, and Keizo into meat paste. Although he didn't know why Si Shu wasn't here, Ijiri could already imagine the miserable look on his face when he found his friends flattened.
He glanced at Koyuki, his eyes behind the bone armor filled with excitement and arrogance.
