Boom Boom Boom...
Even Voldemort had to temporarily retreat when facing the continuous lightning strikes.
Sean changed his body size, hiding in nearby dark clouds, secretly observing Voldemort. Occasionally controlling lightning to attack Voldemort, he managed to leave Voldemort with few options against him in the short term.
Dumbledore should already know something was wrong. In a while, he and the other Order of the Phoenix members should arrive. So rather than fighting Voldemort face-to-face, the safest approach was to delay as much as possible.
Actually, if he could defeat Voldemort head-on, Sean would certainly choose to do so. But the key was that Sean now clearly understood that even after the massive improvements before the third round, he could barely hold on against Voldemort. Once the battle dragged on, Sean would inevitably die at Voldemort's hands.
Sean's plan was good, but he still somewhat underestimated Voldemort.
Waving his wand to block the descending lightning, though Voldemort's clothes were slightly damaged, he showed no emotion. He merely looked disdainfully at the surrounding dark clouds. "Sean Bulstrode, do you think hiding in these clouds will let you delay time and rest easy? Naive!"
Slowly raising his wand, a dark green halo bloomed around Voldemort.
Voldemort gently waved his wand before himself. A dark green gale instantly swept up and then, under another wave of his wand, explosively burst outwards. Wherever it passed, the dark clouds completely vanished, naturally exposing Sean hiding within.
"Avada Kedavra!"
The moment he saw Sean, Voldemort didn't hesitate, casting a Killing Curse directly at him.
Although under countless powerful talents, Sean in White Serpent King form could survive even if hit by Voldemort's Killing Curse; he would be severely injured if not dead. In this environment, severe injury was no different from death. So seeing Voldemort's wand flash green light, Sean immediately used Dragon Fire Acceleration, instantly becoming a white afterimage that vanished from Voldemort's sight.
Dragon's Breath Fireballs!
Sean opened his mouth, spewing a series of high-temperature dragon's breath fireballs that covered the sky towards Voldemort.
Seeing the descending fireballs, Voldemort's wand suddenly vibrated rapidly, simultaneously casting multiple instances of the same spell. Equally dense yellow fireballs collided head-on with those dragon's breath fireballs, erupting in continuous explosions in mid-air.
What technique was this? To simultaneously cast multiple spells! Were there other casting techniques besides nonverbal and wandless magic?
Though Sean was greatly shocked by Voldemort's casting technique, he didn't weaken his own spellcasting. Wind and lightning came again—for high-altitude combat, wind and lightning were the most useful magic.
Sean and Voldemort fought intensely.
Below, the Death Eaters gathered in small groups, watching the sky battle. The combat was so fierce that these Death Eaters unconsciously overlooked some small problems.
Fleur opened her eyes. She had already awakened when Sean and Voldemort exploded that house earlier. During the following time, she figured out what was happening. Her wand silently, under the cover of her body lying on the ground, pointed towards Krum as she quietly chanted spells.
"Rennervate! Rennervate! Rennervate!"
Invisible magical waves spread to Krum's body.
Gradually, Krum's eyes, controlled by the Imperius Curse, finally showed a trace of struggle. The part of Krum's spirit and will that belonged to himself continuously resisted the Imperius Curse from within, whilst Fleur outside continuously used magic to help Krum escape the Imperius Curse's influence.
Finally, when Sean in the sky was hit by Voldemort's magic and fell heavily from mid-air, wounded, Krum broke free from the Imperius Curse's influence. Discovering this, Fleur immediately whispered, "Trigger the mark!"
Without any hesitation, Krum immediately raised his wand to touch his mark. Instantly, purple fireworks shot into the sky, exploding beneath the Dark Mark into a huge purple flower.
The Death Eaters who discovered Fleur and Krum's attempt all cast spells at them.
Fleur had already anticipated this scene. The moment Krum triggered the mark, she dove in front of him, grabbed Krum, and as the Anti-Apparition Jinx's effect faded and those Death Eaters' spells arrived, successfully Apparated with Krum away from the scene.
"Damn it, damn it! Chase them, chase them, and kill them! Otherwise we can't face the Master!"
"Kill them! Kill them!"
"That Veela is mine!"
"Hehe, then I want Krum! I'm his fan, hehehe!"
As he fell, Sean looked at the purple fireworks exploding in the sky and the now-escaped Fleur and Krum. His last worry was finally put to rest.
Looking at the pursuing Voldemort and the Death Eaters preparing to track Fleur and Krum, Sean took a deep breath. Golden light bloomed from his eyes.
Serpent King's Gaze!
Like a golden spider lily, the golden light blooming from Sean's pupils extended outwards in wisps.
The two closest Death Eaters were petrified directly without any preparation. Distant Death Eaters who saw the golden light were all affected, their body surfaces immediately showing signs of petrification.
Even Voldemort, when he sensed something wrong and wanted to temporarily avoid it, couldn't help but see a wisp of golden light. Just that one wisp caused petrification signs on his body. Without hesitation, he rolled up massive amounts of black smoke to wrap himself, using the Smoke Rope Curse's black smoke to block the golden light whilst quickly dispelling the petrification effect under the smoke's protection.
Bang!
The White Serpent King's massive body crashed to the ground, swinging its thick tail to crush two Death Eaters whose bodies were partially petrified and couldn't react in time.
Having done this, Sean immediately reverted to human wizard form. Feeling extremely exhausted but still able to move, he knew this was thanks to his fourth Magic Awakening. Otherwise, he would be lying exhausted on the ground, unable to move like before.
Looking up at Voldemort emerging from the black smoke shield, Sean took a deep breath and Apparated away from the spot.
