Chapter 367 - Chapter 370: The Great Battle

"Sean Bulstrode, I will make you understand what Voldemort truly is."

Looking at Voldemort's cold sneer, Sean suddenly realized that the previously enraged and angry Voldemort was just a façade. The cold, indifferent one before him now—this was the true Voldemort.

Though his internal alertness rose infinitely, Sean refused to yield verbally.

"The true Voldemort? I've seen him more than once or twice. Which time was real? This time?"

"Sharp-tongued. Perhaps you've been too influenced by this body's original owner's personality."

As his words ended, Voldemort suddenly waved his wand. The red and green magical beams that had been locked together twisted and shot towards a nearby house. The two spells interacted violently, exploding with tremendous force and blasting the house into countless fragments.

Voldemort's wand suddenly directed those exploding remnants and stones, all drawn by his magic. Following his wand's movements, they shot towards Sean like a hail of deadly projectiles.

Seeing this, Sean also waved his wand at the debris. Extreme cold descended as an ice wall rose from nothing, blocking all the house remnants and stones. Simultaneously, Sean's wand traced an arc as the ground followed his movements, carving an icy trail that rapidly spread towards Voldemort's body.

Crack Crack Crack...

In the blink of an eye, Voldemort's body was instantly frozen solid.

However, Sean's face showed no trace of joy, because he knew very well that Voldemort would absolutely not be defeated so easily.

Sure enough, a flame flickered before Voldemort. The ice encasing him rapidly melted into vast amounts of rising steam. Voldemort emerged from the ice, opening his mouth to spray Fiendfyre. His wand touched the cursed flames, which immediately transformed into countless threads forming a fire net that descended to envelop Sean.

Fifth-stage Transfiguration!

His expression tightening, Sean suddenly swung his wand forcefully. Fierce winds swept up, forming a surging hurricane that howled towards the Fiendfyre net.

Then Sean pointed his wand forwards. Countless water vapor gathered and poured into the hurricane. Finally, Sean cast Frost Domain again. The hurricane infused with vast water vapor instantly became an ice-snow tornado, crashing head-on into the Fiendfyre net.

Sizzle sizzle sizzle... Boom!

Three spells to counter Voldemort's fifth-stage Transfiguration Fiendfyre. Sean took a deep breath. That exchange had completely consumed the spiritual power absorbed from that Dementor earlier. Though Sean kept verbally taunting Voldemort, he knew very well that the true Voldemort was no less formidable than Dumbledore. The reason Dumbledore could steadily suppress Voldemort was actually due to the Elder Wand's existence.

Of course, perhaps even without the Elder Wand, Dumbledore might still be slightly stronger than Voldemort, but definitely not by much.

Seeing his Fiendfyre net dissipated, Voldemort waved his wand again. Immense black smoke surged from his body like a hurricane, like a tsunami, surging turbulently towards Sean.

Smoke Rope Curse!

Seeing the approaching black smoke, Sean raised his wand as well.

"Smoke Rope Curse!"

Massive amounts of black smoke poured from Sean's body, forming palm after palm that grabbed at the surging black smoke wave. These palms grew more numerous, gradually blocking the black smoke wave completely.

"Smoke Rope Curse... A Smoke Rope Curse nearly identical to mine. If you couldn't demonstrate my unique magic at a strength comparable to mine, I'd really think you were just a fraud imitating me."

The black smoke from both sides gradually receded. Black smoke swirled around Sean as he rose into the air.

The magic of physical flight currently only Voldemort possessed. Rather than magic, it was more akin to a talent-like ability—something even Dumbledore didn't have.

Now seeing Sean demonstrate flight ability, neither the Death Eaters nor Voldemort himself doubted that Sean was truly Voldemort's other half.

Watching Sean rise into the air, Voldemort also shot upwards.

Sean looked at the pursuing Voldemort, his wand waving at high speed. Spell after spell transformed into multicolored streams of light raining down towards Voldemort.

Seeing this, Voldemort also waved his wand at extreme speed. An equal number of spells formed beams shooting out. Both sides' magic collided and cancelled each other out, erupting in continuous explosions between them. Magic cancelling magic, magic deflecting magic—for a time, wherever they passed, explosions chained endlessly, leaving devastation everywhere.

Bang!

A Disarming Charm grazed Sean's right shoulder, sending his wand flying from his hand and falling downwards. Seeing this, Sean chased after his wand, rapidly descending, whilst Voldemort pursued Sean closely, his wand continuously unleashing countless spells, all blocked by the black smoke behind Sean.

Boom!

Sean crashed into a house below. The building instantly collapsed, burying Sean within its ruins.

Voldemort hovered in mid-air. He certainly didn't think Sean had been eliminated so easily, so he waved his wand again, casting a dark green light directly at the collapsed ruins below.

Bang!

The house ruins suddenly exploded, sending debris and stones flying everywhere. Sean stood at the collapsed house's centre, his robes somewhat damaged. Having retrieved his wand, he shot brilliant lightning at Voldemort's descending dark green light.

"Thunder and Lightning!"

Crack! Boom!

Two energies exploded in mid-air. Sean watched Voldemort continue shooting various spells at him. His form twisted slightly, becoming a white afterimage that shot into the sky.

Animagus White Serpent King form! Dragon Fire Acceleration!

Watching Sean fly into the sky, Voldemort's face showed surprise for the first time.

"Animagus? And it appears to be a magical creature. This is quite interesting. You actually possess abilities I don't have!"

Seeing Sean fly into the sky, Voldemort immediately pursued.

Just breaking through the clouds, blazing flames poured down from above.

Dragon's Breath Flames!

Voldemort waved his hand forcefully. A massive plume of black smoke shot out, directly cancelling the descending dragon's breath.

Then Voldemort cast another Killing Curse, but failed to hit Sean.

Just as Voldemort was about to continue pursuing Sean, the clouds above rapidly gathered, forming rolling dark clouds. Lightning after lightning bred within them, forming continuous thunder that struck at Voldemort in succession.
