'Why do I feel I made a mistake?' Kaneki couldn't help but ask this question to himself as he rethinks the thing he did right now, especially looking at her cheerful mood
'Well regretting is useless now' Kaneki said next inside his head as he knew what's done is done and nothing can be changed now even if he wanted too
Since he dont know much about this contract due to the fact that he gto ot know about such things just now
But one thing is certain, what she told him about the contract isn't a lie or a bluff since he could feel something in his heart
It's some kind of invisible thing, but he could feel it and if he had to explain it in words then he could say that right now his heart is warped chains
And he guessed that the moment he broke the rules in that contract, the chains were gonna get tightened even though it would kill him but that would give him unimaginable pain
'It is fine, I can handle that too' Kaneki inwardly said. Unlike normal people who died from that, his body won't let that happen as his body keeps regenerating to keep him alive
The only issue is pain but it is not a problem for him since he is already used to it meanwhile he dont think it is the same for the person in front of him standing
'She is not like me but she has means which I don't know yet' Kaneki inwardly said this in his mind as he knew the same punished will be on her if she doesn't honour the contract
And moreover, he knows she doesn't regenerate like him and she could feel pain too meaning it's a painful and slow death for her if she breaks the contract
But he can't be too sure about it since he thinks unlike him, she must have known some loopholes to avoid punishments
Right now its just guesses, he wouldn't know until she does something stupid till then it's safe to assume that she is an ally for now
"Do you want me to start my job now?~" The woman asked this as she needed to make others stronger according to the contract which is why she wanna whether she should start now or not
"Not now later when we reach our destination" Kaneki replied to this as he thought it would be better to do so when they reached Saya's home since they would get a safe place at least thats what he hoped
He can't be too sure about Saya's home in this zombie outbreak even though she might have a powerful family but it's not a war where powerful people win
Rather this is a virus outbreak, so even if one person gets infected, then surely the virus will spread rapidly to others in her family
The only reason he agreed to go with her plan was simply due to the fact that there was nothing better than that at the moment
The city is closed now due to the virus having spread across the whole city meaning no form of transportation is gonna get them out now
And this is only gonna get worse by each day, which is why they needed to move on rather than stay at one place and pray for things to get better
Which is why they decided to go to Saya's house since she got rich family and she also said that if her family is still here then surely they can get them out of here
Even though there are so many 'If' in this plan but since there is no better plan than this which is why they decided to go with that due to the fact that having a plan is better than having no plan
The thing he is right now very sure of right now is that it wouldn't be good if she starts now, they are already tired today and they need to preserve energy for tomorrow
Moreover, he dont think anyone gonna accept her as an ally and is willing to learn from her just because he said so, not that he blames them since he himself doesn't believe in her character
He thinks it would be better for her to stay here till she gains trust from others and hopefully she could do that before they reach the destination since if that place really is what they imagined, then there is no place better than that to learn about new powers
"So when do I meet others?~" The woman asked this question with a flirtatious tone as she seemed to be excited to see them
"Come with me" Kaneki said this after he gave him a sharp glare and decided to take her right now even though he dont like this but he got not better options

15 minutes later…
"Who is this..?" Shizuka asked this question as she looked at the woman who seemed to be unknown to them, who appeared suddenly while she seemed to be acting towards kaneki like she knew him too well
This question is on everyone's mind right now since no one recognised her at all and it's not an surpised at the considering the fact that the last time they met her she was invisible
Even though Kaneki could lie about her and hide the fact that she today was an enemy but he dont wanna do that especially to Shizuka, so he prefers to tell the truth
"Ara~ you didn't tell them about me~" Woman speak this in a flirtatious tone as she hugged him from behind
'What the hell does she think she is doing?!?' Shizuka inwardly said this in her mind with frustration but on the surface, she appeared normal
But looking at her who is acting all lovey-dovey towards Kaneki, seems to irritate Shizuka very much
She didnt showed on the surface as she decided to let Kaneki explain to her himself since she knows he must have a reason to bring her here which is why she thinks it would be better to hear his explanation before coming to any conclusion
