[1st POV | Amity]
Beautiful.
She was beautiful. The most beautiful creature that I have ever seen in my rather short life so far. I...I don't even know how to begin to describe how incredible she was. The way her adorable cheeks flushed, the equally adorable clothes that she was wearing, akin to that of a cat.
I noticed quickly that she had been looking at me, just as intently as I was looking at her. I...I don't really know what to do with that knowledge though, as this girl, this...Luz, she was unlike anyone I have seen before.
She was different.
And mother seemed to agree, with the way she was smirking at me. I may be young and ignorant on a lot of things, but even I was not blind enough to not see why my mother was teasingly looking at me.
"W-What?" I asked, stuttering even as I tried to control my expression. My mother was dangerously good at getting emotions and reactions out of me that nobody else could.
Mothers were scary.
"Oh nothing, I just couldn't help but notice that little staring contest that you just had with Luz Noceda over there" My mother responded with a small smirk on her face. One that she always had when she saw something that she deemed as amusing.
And in this case, I suppose I was the one that was amusing.
Not sure how to feel about that to be honest.
"W-We weren't staring at each other" I hate myself sometimes. The inability to stop a stutter from leaving me was growing increasingly problematic.
It gave my mother way too many chances at teasing me. Weapons for her arsenal for the future.
"Uh huh, whatever you say honey. Now, I have a rather important thing to ask you about. It's something that I have pushed off for a while now, but I think it's time to bring it up. And that is...do you wish to return to Hexside to continue your schooling?" My mother asked, as I stilled.
Hexside...was a tough subject for me. Even thinking of returning to that place...was scary. Not because of the school itself, as I truly did enjoy going. Nor was it because of the teachers, as most of them were excellent and seemingly did notice that I had some...issues going on in my life. But none of them could ever get evidence, so the most they had done was ask if I was okay.
It was because of the students.
Boscha...was a bitch, plain and simple. I do not like thinking of others in such a way, but it was the truth. The girl was a bully, and not someone I wanted to even think of interacting with anymore. She was someone that was also an annoyance, and would no doubt bug the hell out of me at every chance.
But more than her, it was my old siblings. The Blights would be a pain in my side. Not Odalia and my...old father, but instead my siblings. They would more than likely try...something, be it saying something to me that is ignorant or stupid, or outright attempting to bully me.
I didn't want to deal with it. But at the same time...I do wish to return to the school. I did have friends there that I actually care about, and there was a friend there that I desperately need to make up with.
Willow Park.
I need to make up with her, for the actions of myself in the past, and because of the way I had treated her due to my old parents and their control over my life. She was the first true friend that I have ever had, and I need to rekindle that friendship, or at least try to the best of my ability.
But the idea of going back was still...daunting, and even the idea of interacting with Willow was scary. Not because I disliked her or the idea of talking with her, no, of course not. But the idea of having to face the backlash of the things I have done in past years due to the manipulation of Odalia and my own feelings about the two of them.
"I...I don't know if I want to or not. I-It's hard to decide that sort of thing so quickly, and without really thinking about it more" I responded after a few moments of thought.
"That's fine honey. If you don't want to decide yet you don't have to. You can wait as long as you want to decide if you wish to return or not" My mother replied, making my face warp into a small smile, the fact that she was so supportive only supported my love for my mother.
"Thank you mama" I responded, as mama just smiled down at me, before I got back to work.
Didn't want to disappoint mama.

[3rd POV]
Wanda was not particularly surprised about the reaction that Amity had to the idea of returning to school. Hexside was obviously still too much for her just yet, so she would need to wait for what Wanda expected would be another couple of weeks.
At least until she found out that Luz was attending. Wanda was confident that the moment Amity found out that Luz was going to start at Hexside, she would also want to go back. She could tell just from the emotions that were practically pouring out of Amity regarding Luz.
Wanda watched as Luz continued to browse the sections that she had pointed out, barely hiding her amusement as Luz was fighting back a squeal when she realized that the books did indeed teach magic that even she could learn and use. The sort of magic that would be easy enough for her to use.
Eda couldn't help but also be very interested as she looked the book over.
"Hey Wanda, is this something that Witches of the Boiling Isles can learn too?" Eda asked, poking her head out from around the corner of the book shelf.
"Hmmm, I suppose so. But it will be more difficult for your kind. And that is because your body is fine tuned for the magics that you use, for the circles and all of that. Whereas the magic that Luz is trying to learn, is something specially created for humans and those that did not have a bile sac when they learned and utilized it" Wanda explained to the woman, with Amity looking surprised.
She had never learned about that, but she supposed it made sense.
"Ah, so basically I can but it'll be a pain to learn and way slower than Luz?"
"Basically yes. But if you wish to learn a magic that is more versatile than just about any other out there, then it'd be the best type you can learn" Wanda responded with a nod, knowing that Eda would likely want to learn this magic either way. It was simply too helpful to not learn it.
"Hmm, alright. What are the follow up books I should pick up? I figure I can at least read all the books ahead and learn that much at the least" Eda responded, as Wanda snapped her finger, another set of books glowing over in the area.
"Those glowing books are the ones you should pick up. I'd also suggest you come back here if you have any questions regarding the spells and how to use the magic, I have mastered it to the absolute level afterall" Wanda replied.
She was capable of using the magic to a level that surpassed even the likes of Zatanna, who was the best at using it back in the DC universe. She could create and end universes with the magic, and that was without using chaos magic and the other similar magics.
That was how immensely skilled she was at it.
"Great, thanks!" Eda cheerfully said, as she darted back over to grab some books with Luz helping her.
After another 10 minutes of them grabbing the highlighted books, and a few others that Luz was interested in, they returned back to the counter. Luz looked like she felt bad once she heard the price, only to see that Eda had no problem paying it.
It was really cheap compared to what it would have cost in others stores in the Boiling Isles. So it was a no brainer to pay it. That and she had a ton of money saved up over the years.
With their books bought, alongside two muffins, the two had soon left, but not before Luz and Amity had another staring contest.
All the while, Wanda had one thought on her mind.
'We are definitely visiting the Boiling Isles in the future'
