[3rd POV]
Staring forwards at Luz Noceda, Wanda found herself a little surprised. The girl was about the same as she had been in canon, with there being very little difference between the two. The only difference she really found was the fact that the girl was a bit smarter.
Which wasn't really saying too much, as she was a lot smarter than she looked even back in the canon universe. She also quickly noticed that the girl was surprisingly fit too, with there being quite a bit of muscle developing on her, and she was confident that the girl had been working out commonly at this point.
Wanda glanced at the girl, and then at Amity. Amusement swimming in her eyes as she instantly noticed that the girls were both already staring at one another, their eyes locked. Wanda watched as Amity's face began to get redder and redder by the moment, as the tips of her ears grew crimson red.
While Luz also blushed pink, before glancing to the side awkwardly, realizing that she had been staring for a while now. And she hadn't just been staring, but she had been staring back into the eyes of the girl that was also staring back at her.
Eda had also noticed the interaction between the girls who were of the same age. Her eyebrow rose the longer the two had locked eyes, before eventually she was barely fighting back the urge to laugh at the interaction.
She had never seen something so adorable before. The way the two were pretty much instantly enraptured by the other, completely absorbed into the other.
It was love at first sight.
And in this case, Wanda found that to be quite literal. She could feel the connection between the two snap into place, likely they had both realized something upon seeing one another. Like they had found a missing piece that had been gone from their lives for years now, and had just found it.
It was a very interesting thing to see in person. As Wanda had never seen the act of "Love at First Sight" happen right in front of her, not once in her years so far. This was the first time, and made her interested in just how it worked.
Was it connected to fate and destiny? Was it simply all chance? Was it luck? What made it happen?
Or was it just the individual themselves, and was completely unbound by the laws of fate and destiny? Driven solely by the emotions of the ones that were involved in the act of love at first sight. It was incredible to see in person, as the threads connected, their emotions connecting unknowingly.
'How interesting' Wanda thought, glancing between the two, before her gaze moved to Eda who had a shit eating grin on her face, fully prepared to tease the two.
"You done staring into her eyes kid?" Eda asked, looking down at Luz who jumped at her words, her face warping into a bright red akin to that of a tomato, and somehow, Amity was still blushing brighter than her.
"E-Eda!"
"What? It's true! You two were totally lost there. Which, while adorable, is rude to the boss woman here. Now come on, introduce yourself" Eda said, looking over at Wanda as Luz's eyes widened realizing she had forgotten about the other woman that was currently looking just as amused as Eda was.
"Oh um...hi! I'm Luz Noceda, it's nice to meet you!" Luz said with a bright smile on her face, as she reached her hand out. Wanda looked at her with amusement swimming in her eyes as she reached her hand out and shook Luz's. While Amity was on the side, barely hiding her coo at how adorable she thought Luz was at that moment.
"It's nice to meet you as well, little one. I'm Wanda Maximoff, the owner of this bookstore. And this one of my three children, Amity Maximoff" Wanda said, introducing herself, before looking over to Amity, motioning for her to introduce herself a bit.
"H-Hi" Amity stuttered slightly, her cheeks flushed.
"H-Hello" Luz stuttered her response in the back, her cheeks just as flushed as Amity's was. They both looked down, embarrassed as Eda and Wanda looked at one another, barely hiding just how hilarious they both thought this was.
"Alright, now that the adorable little introductions are over with! I'm here because the kid here is hoping for something that I think you might have" Eda said, as Luz and Amity broke out of their embarrassment, and Luz walked back over to Eda's side, while Amity went back to restocking while glancing back at Luz every once in a while.
"And what would that be?" Wanda asked, looking down at Luz who was a little surprised at her being the one asked that question.
"I um...I was hoping that you maybe had something that would allow me to learn magic? I am human, you know. And humans aren't really capable of learning it normally" Luz explained herself, as Wanda smiled.
"I know, Luz. I was once human too, you know. And my son, the youngest, is also human and uses magic just fine" Wanda replied, waving off the girls evident concerns, as that concern was changed into surprise.
"Wait, that's possible!?" Luz asked with wide eyes.
"Hmm? Oh of course it is! It just won't be the same magic system that you have seen, that's all" Wanda replied, making Luz look up at her with confusion clear in her eyes once again.
"What do you mean by that?" Luz asked, tilting her head.
"Think of it like this. The magic system that you have seen, the one that Eda and all others in the Boiling Isles uses, is what I personally call "Circle Magic". As it is done by manipulating the magic within their bile sacs into spells that come in the form of circles" Wanda began, as Luz nodded along, showing that she was listening. Eda and Amity were listening just as intently.
"There are also the runes of the Boiling Isles, but those are...something you'll have to find on your own. On top of those two systems, there are MANY others, thanks to their being an infinite amount of dimensions out there. What you can learn is one of those other systems. There are a number of dimensions that you can learn from, but it is up to you to decide which one" Wanda explained.
"...What sort of systems?" Luz asked, her eyes sparkling in excitement at the idea. She was also interested in the runes that she had mentioned, but Wanda had made it very clear that she had to learn it on her own. Meaning it was a magic system that she could personally learn and use, and it was one that could be found in the Boiling Isles, which was a surprise to even Eda who had never heard of it.
"There are many. There's one that can use words of power in another language, this being Latin. There is another that is in various languages like Greek, Egyptian, and other languages. There is one that works by calling upon the power of Gods, using a fraction of a fraction of their influence to use specific spells related to said God. And there is many many many more that you can learn. All of it can be found in the books in the magic section. I'd suggest starting with the books titled "Magic Systems and their overarching uses", which will explain each magic system in the shop that you can find, and the usage of each of them, as well as their limits and "Rules"" Wanda explained without letting out a breath.
"...What one do you think I should learn?" Luz asked, kind of confused with all the new information, even if it was very important information.
"That is a very good question. Based off of what I can tell, and what I can see, I do think there is one very powerful magic system that you can learn. It's also an incredibly simple one with immense variety in use. It's called "Logomancy" and is done by quite literally chanting a word backwards, and mattering on the word, it'll bring about an effect. Such as saying "Erif" you can conjur a fire. Or "Erif llab" which would be a fire ball" Wanda explained, making Luz look up at her with sparkly eyes, liking the sound of that.
"That sounds awesome! Where can I find a book on it, and how expensive is it?" Luz asked, as Wanda snapped her finger.
"The glowing book explains the basics. And the book is quite cheap, so don't worry too much about that" Wanda answered, as Luz cheered and ran off to grab the book to glance it over.
Watching her run off with Eda following her a moment later, also interested in the magic, Wanda had only one thought on her mind, as she noticed her daughter staring at Luz.
'I have a feeling this is going to be the start of something...amusing'
