--- Chapter 473 ---

"Who is it?! Who dares to mess with the laws of my Douluo Plane!"

An enraged, thunderous roar echoed violently through the deep layers beneath the vast oceans of the Douluo Planet, causing the surrounding spatial barriers to crack and tremble under sheer pressure.

"Brother Hao... is everything alright?" A calm, soothing, yet eerily cold feminine voice inquired gently from the dark void.

The furious voice grunted, settling into a low, calmer gruff. "Mo Yin... I just detected an anomaly tearing straight into the Douluo Plane. But the exact millisecond it arrived, it vanished from my divine sense, as if this entity just vanished into thin air."

"Now that it is entirely gone... and it fills me with a strange dread."

The soothing, feminine voice paused as a hint of calculation emerged in her tone. "Could it be that the weak Consciousness of the Douluo Planet is trying to pull another string behind our backs?"

"That pathetic thing?" The man's voice let out a mocking sneer.

"That thing wouldn't dare dream of such a thing! I have already stripped away and claimed the vast majority of its authority as the Plane Lord."

"The consciousness of the Douluo Plane is nothing more than a caged beast under my boots, and it lacks the strength to produce any potential chaos of this level."

His voice grew dark, dripping with arrogant disdain. "If not for the threat of the Abyss Plane acting as a necessary stimulus, and the execution of Xiao San's plan..."

"I would have long since killed that useless world consciousness entirely and become the Plane Lord."

The soothing voice of Mo Yin drifted through the rift, uttering a chillingly detached comment. "You are right, Brother Hao. No one, neither anomaly, god, nor beast, is permitted to disrupt Xiao San's plan."

"But to ensure absolute operational certainty..." She paused, her ethereal form flickering with dark silver light. "Do you think I should issue a secret order directly to the high echelons of Shrek Academy to hunt down this anomaly?"

"That would be the most effective action. Do it!" Tang Hao's voice turned cold, filled with a ruthless, decisive enmity. "Since I can't make a direct move against the anomaly, those blind, worshipful descendants of Shrek should prove their worth and handle this matter."

A wicked, bone-chilling smile spread across the face of the man hidden in the dark. "I do not care if they spill rivers of innocent blood or make a thousand wrong choices in the process."

"To secure Xiao San's plan, it is better to slaughter a thousand potential targets than to miss a single true threat."

"Very well, Brother Hao... I shall transmit the secret order to the Sea God Pavilion immediately." With those final words, Mo Yin's soothing presence vanished into another space, leaving the arrogant evil husband alone in the dark abyss beneath the sea.

Left to his own thoughts, Tang Hao threw his head back, his cold chuckle echoing through the void. "No one... absolutely no one can stop the glory of my Tang Clan!"

.

.

Meanwhile, at a small, unassuming restaurant in Whale's Laugh City, one of the completely undetected anomalies was currently stuffing his face full of food.

Gulp. Chomp. Slam.

Nom! Nom! Nom!

"This kid..." Guo Zhenfeng sat across the stainless table at a loss for words.

At first, the Regimental Commander had thought the silver-haired kid was an interesting little fellow. But the longer he watched, the more abnormal the situation became.

This boy wasn't just hungry! He was a goddamn gluttony incarnate given human form!

The tiny, frail six-year-old was devouring a mountain of rice, braised meat, and heavy broths that could easily feed ten fully grown adults for days, and he showed no signs of stopping.

In fact, he might even get faster and faster.

Guo Zhenfeng narrowed his gleaming eyes, subtly channeling his spiritual sense into the air.

He attempted to examine the boy's frail form to see if he could discover a hidden, mutated martial soul or a special, powerful bloodline causing this phenomenon.

However, his investigation yielded absolutely nothing.

Yup, nothing.

There was no chaotic spirit power, no dark power, no hint of a powerful bloodline, and no physical abnormality. It was just an ordinary, starving stomach.

Yet, that was exactly what made the Level 92 Title Douluo break into a cold sweat. For an expert of his caliber to find nothing wrong meant the boy's secret was either completely non-existent or higher than his own cultivation level.

Frowning, Guo Zhenfeng pulled out his tactical smart watch. He pulled up the Federal database of missing and abducted children and cross-referenced the boy's appearance.

After all, with those striking silver eyes and fair features, he looked far too extraordinary to have come from a common, nameless background.

Sure enough, the central database flagged some matches, but one struck a chord instantly. As Guo Zhenfeng skimmed through the background information, his eyes widened slightly in shock.

"Holy..."

"This kid... I actually hit the ultimate jackpot."

[DOULUO FEDERATION DISPATCH: HIGH-PRIORITY TARGET]

[Name: Han Yuan

Age: 5 (Approaching Spirit Awakening)

Status: Reported lost or kidnapped in the periphery of the northern region of the Douluo Continent half a year ago.

Maternal Grandfather: Han Tianyi (The Illusory Brain Douluo)

Parents: Han Juanyang (Passed Away), Xu Bingchen (Passed Away)

Paternal Grandfather: Unknown (Classified / Sealed)

Operational Directive: Target is alive. Must be secured and returned at all costs!]

Guo Zhenfeng truly hadn't expected that one of the captive children he had just saved from the Evil Soul Master den was the direct descendant of a high-level Spirit Pagoda powerhouse.

Although he had known that the boy must be extraordinary, he could have never guessed that his background would be 'this' extraordinary. With the backing of the Illusory Brain Douluo, this starving little anomaly had just gained himself a ticket to higher status.

"I should report this to the Northern Legion immediately," Guo Zhenfeng murmured to himself, opening his Spirit Guidance Watch to make a brief yet concise report about his startling discovery.

Sure enough, the central military headquarters reacted instantly. The boy was a high-priority target they had spent months actively searching for, after all.

Without a moment's delay, the high command bypassed standard means to notify the Illusory Brain Douluo directly that his long-lost grandson had finally been found.

What Guo Zhenfeng completely failed to realize, however, was that the silver-haired boy across the table had been observing him from a much higher, invisible perspective.

While stuffing his mouth with food, Han Yuan actually hadn't been idle at all. His formless, invisible spiritual energy had quietly unfurled across the entire coastal city like a giant, undetectable net, searching through the information.

So, when Guo Zhenfeng pulled up his high-end terminal to inspect Han Yuan's background, Han Yuan was casually reading the holographic screen right alongside him.

Han Yuan swallowed a large piece of braised meat, his expression totally deadpan as his inner thoughts turned incredibly sharp.

'So, I am the grandson of the Illusory Brain Douluo in this world...'

'Huh. Neat. That certainly explains why this kid's spiritual origin is so naturally strong and compatible with my soul.'

'Does this mean I am officially part of the Spirit Pagoda faction?'

'Tsk, tsk, directly against Shrek? Hehehe, what are the chances?!'

'Well, whatever. I shouldn't overthink those matters just yet.'

He reached for another bowl of steaming broth, his lips twisting into a subtle, unnoticeable smirk.

'As for Xu Deming and the Blue Dragon Lady... I am sure they can fend for themselves. They are fully grown adults, after all. I am much better off focusing on adapting to my own situation first.'

'Hehe... things are getting interesting.'
