"BOOM!"
The crystal hit the monster back right on the mark and it even went through the monster body. The monster screamed. But then, it began to move again and stood up again. The monster roared out loud this time. The heat from the underground could be felt by them.
Hana then created an ice platform where Yami could stand on it to avoid the heat. Yami and Hana could see the color of the ground had been changed.
It must've been because the heat from the underground is spreading. The ice part is still inside the monster body, but yet the monster still keeps on moving like nothing happened there. The ice slowly melts down and turns into water. It washes off the monster body.
They could see a hole in the monster body, but it's still moving and trying to attack them. As they're fighting, Yami then begins to wonder if that monster is invincible, but it did not heal itself. So Yami and Hana then continued to fight.
Will the monster keep on fighting until it gets destroyed into a piece? Is that the only way to destroy it? Yami was thinking about it while landing a shot on the monster. While Hana is using a spell that could cool the monster down.
Yami understands that Hana is doing so because he will need to get near the monster if the heat is still hot. Then Yami won't be able to get near it. So Hana just tried to cool it off.
Yami just kept on shooting until he saw that the monster began to become more nullified with his bullet. The second Yami saw that, he then stopped shooting. Yami could see that something was wrong there, and he then took out the sword that Hana gave to him and stood on the platform in front of the monster.
The monster looked at Yami. The moment it saw Yami in front of him, Yami could feel a strong wind and an electricity charge on the monster wing. It looks like it is about to unleash a massive attack. So Yami is just going to face it and holds the sword to the front as he is about to jump towards the monster.
Hana saw that Yami was about to make a bet there and she then cast a spell on Yami.
Yami then saw a circle of wind around his shoes. There's also a wind that looks like a cuff. Hana then told Yami that she wasn't sure of the effect of that spell. But she knows that it will help Yami because it boosts Yami's movement speed. Meaning Yami might be able to just dash towards the monster with such high speed that he could even reach the monster before he falls down.
It sounds weird for Yami but it is useful. So Yami then held his sword tightly and then dashed towards the monster.
"SWOOSH!"
As Hana said, Yami was able to reach the monster's face and stab the monster right in the top of its head. A blood splashed out all over him. Yami smiled as it happened and said "so now it's a fair battle." The monster is trying to hit Yami on its head but Yami was able to dash towards another direction and balance himself up.
Yami was impressed with that spell and he then told Hana that everything should've been done if she had done that earlier. Hana then told Yami that if he was not jerk enough. She should've been doing so. But because of his attitude. Hana would love to see him like that.
Yami then replied to Hana that he also enjoys seeing people suffer. But other than seeing that, maybe he would love to see how the monster will suffer.
Suddenly the sword glows red. When Hana saw that, she could feel a murderer instinct within Yami. She never expected such a thing before. Because Yami did seem to be like helping people. But was his way to help people by killing people that caused a war? Maybe that is how Yami wants to achieve his victory or goal. But that's of course. Because of even Hana with her current situation, she didn't think a simple talk would do.
At that point, while she was looking at how Yami fought with that monster, she just had a thought.
"Human was a creature that could communicate with each other. Every human is the same and there's nothing different about them. Humans are just Humans."
"But what makes it so different that we need to kill each other. For what do we love? To get something by a force. Why is that? If it is wrong to kill people. Then why did people still kill each other? Won't it be the same as killing ourselves?"
Yami hits the monster eye.
"SHING!"
Leaving a massive scratch on the monster eye, Yami then kicked it and returned to stand on the monster arm. The monster is shaking its arm to make Yami fall from him. But Yami quickly ran to its head as he felt that the monsters were trying to make him fall. But Yami was quick with that spell from Hana. So he was then about to land another attack. But this time a lightning strikes on him.
"BOOM!"
It hits right on Yami and Yami got blown away. He fell to the ground and Hana then used her spell and blinded the monster to buy a time to pull Yami and heal him up.
But Yami pushed her away and while holding the sword in his right hand, he then said, "This is nothing. I'm far from dead." Yami stood up and this time, the flame on the sword expanded more than before. It feels like this time Yami is getting more serious than before with his injured state.
Yami took a deep breath and as the flame on the sword was igniting, he then dashed towards the monster body and gave it an upward slash. The monster was aware of that and it quickly cast a lightning. But Yami was able to run before it hit him and then go for the monster's left arm.
Unlike before, this time the attack was able to leave a massive scratch on the monster's arm. It wasn't able to cut off the arms, and it was just a scratch. But the flame from the sword caused the scratch on the monster to get burned immediately. It then caused the monster hard to move.
Yami then took advantage of that and tried to hit another spot. He wasn't sure where did that flame came from. But he knew that heat was coming not from his desire. But it is filled with Hana's frustration and determination to end this.
As Yami is fighting, he then shouts out loud
"Hey Hana. What was the thing that made you want to walk forward?"
Yami dodged the monster's attack and left another mark on the monster as he asked that. But that question for Hana, it didn't even take Hana much time to think about it. Because it was obvious. It was the same question. The question that she has answered many times. She then just shouted out loud back.
"It is to return to where I came from. It is to get my own freedom!"
Yami smiled as he heard that reply. The monster then cast a multiple laser towards him. But Yami just made a stance and swung his sword cast out a flame that cut through that laser and hit the monster's chest. The monster shouted out loud and even his attack was cancelled. It then quickly used its left arm to extend out and reach for Yami.
As the arm follows him, Yami then goes through a hole in the monster body and gets through it. The arm still followed him and Yami then dashed towards the monster's back head and quickly slashed it with his sword. Caused the monster to get hurt more and shouted out.
But because of that, the monster then got triggered more by and its speed then increased more. Yami smiled as he saw that, and he then began to hit the monster randomly as he continued to move wherever he could.
Then Yami asked Hana.
"Is that all you want? A freedom? I knew you the moment you entered this place. Because our minds are connected. Don't you feel it?"
Hana then was in a shock and flushed as she heard that. She never knew this place could do such a thing. But by hearing Yami say that their minds in there are connected. Then does it mean, each of them in there is reading each other's mind? Or did Hana understand it wrong?
Yami then chuckled as he was fighting. He could hear everything so well. All of those words were within his mind and that was when he tried to connect with Hana through his thoughts.
"So you got it now? Or are you still gonna stay that way?"
When Hana heard that, she didn't see Yami was moving his mouth, and it also didn't seem like she heard anything. But it's more like a voice that is coming to her heart? How was that possible? Or was that what Yami meant by hearing her inner thoughts?
Hana then continued to watch Yami fighting and at the same time she just wondered if Yami really could hear everything. Then does it mean that Yami hears that thing too?
But that will just be weirder and awkward. Hana was so sure that Yami wanted to hear her admitting it. But to admit it there, it will just be weird. But at the same time, no one should be able to hear it. So maybe it will be good.
Yami then asked Hana,
"So still are trying to hide the truth, huh? Fine by me. You sussy woman."
When Hana heard Yami call her 'Sussy woman,' she immediately flushed up in red, and she then quickly replied to Yami in a loud voice.
"I'M NOT A SASSY WOMAN YOU DUMB HEAD!"
Yami laughed as he heard that. He then was able to cut the monster's left arm with a 4 slash attack and the monster's hand then fell to the ground. The monster roared out loud because of that damage. But it didn't slow it down. It then. Go even faster and try to hit Yami.
With its speed almost about to hit Yami. Yami then just focused on running away. But Yami then got behind the monster and stood still there. The monster was then about to reach Yami but suddenly it couldn't. It tries to reach Yami but can't. Seems like its arm can't extend any longer.
So it then tried to walk forward but then it tripped down and fell. That was when the monster realized that Yami was using its own trick towards itself. The monster was stuck at that point and it then fell to the ground.
The monster tried to shoot out a fire from its mouth. But the time it tried to, its mouth can't be opened. It seems like it's an extended arm and tying to its mouth. The monster then was stuck at that point and tried to free itself.
Yami saw that and he then jumped on the monster's head back and stabbed its sword there.
"HARGH!"
This time, that stab is hard enough that it caused the sword to go through the monster's head and skull. Yami saw that the flame from the sword caused the monster's skin to melt down a bit. This time, he was so sure that he could cut through its skin.
But Yami didn't pull out his sword. Instead, he continued to walk to the monster's leg while pulling the sword that was going through inside the monster. That sword did hit the monster's headbone and cut through it. Along with the monster's back bone that is attached to its back.
The monster's bone and body did get cut in half. But as the bone got cut through, the monster couldn't move its part anymore. Yami then continued dragging the sword to the monster's backbone, and he turned around and saw the monster's body have melted, and it can't even move now.
Yami looked at the monster meat and wondered.
"I didn't cook a monster with this sword, right? But that smells"
Hana then flies and drops next to Yami and coughs a bit. She then says "well looks like someone eager for a monster meat I think." Yami then laughed and pats Hana's head.
"Well thanks for supporting me, good girl."
