Hana held the red sword up and he then told Hana that he knew that Hana gave him that because there's a reason behind it. He also could sense something from that, and he then made a stance then took a breath.
"I wonder what memories mean to you. But I will never burn them out. Because I will burn that chunk instead."
"Let me burn it down. Hercates."
Then, Hana could see a dark flame coating that sword, which it left her in a shock. She then wondered "is that how to activate it?" Yami then quickly dashed towards the monster and he jumped aside then attacked its right arm.
It did not get cut down, but it just leaves a big scar; but that scar did get covered by the same dark flame on the sword. It seems like flames are making the monster not heal up from that attack. Yami was then about to land another attack but the monster quickly pulled its left arm and hit him with it.
Yami got blown not too far from the monster because he was holding his stance with the sword. Yami then quickly dashed towards the monster and at that time, Hana cast something not on the monster or him. But to that sword.
That sword then suddenly took another form and Yami also could feel another kind of energy from it. Yami was so surprised by it, and he then charged towards the monster.
The monster used its left arm and shot out a spike towards Yami. But instead of running away, this time Yami then held the sword tight, and he then slashed towards the spike. It causes the spike to disappear, and then just makes the monster shocked by it. It's golden arm then changed into a spiky hammer and it then dashed towards Yami. Both of them are running dashing towards each other.
Yami didn't run this time, and instead he aimed for the golden hammer instead of its body. Because he wanted to know the true potential of that sword.
"SWOOSH!"
"SCRAAK!"
Two swords make a contact with the hammer. Even with such a different size, the sword then goes through the hammer and even breaks it into two. The sword slowly broke and fell apart. The monster just couldn't believe it. It then quickly pulled its right arm away. But as he did so, Yami then took that chance to dash towards it.
"HAARGH!"
Yami slashed its left open arm and caused it to get ripped apart. The blood began to spray out and hit Yami's face and even the ground. Yami then held his sword tight and thrust right into the monster's heart.
The dark trails from the sword then begin to spread on the monster body. It covers all the monster's body and slowly eats it. Yami and Hana were thinking that they already did it. But that's until another monster appeared and hit the ground hard. Interrupting Yami from finishing the monster, and he then got blown away.
Yami got blown away critically, and it even injured him as he didn't prepare for such a thing to happen. This time a blood came out of his mouth and he then fell to the ground. Hana, who was not injured because she was in a safe area, then quickly went to him and asked if he was okay.
But behind the smoke in front of them, they then could see another creature that had a wing on its back. It was a creature with a metal-like material body. It got a cape on it's back. With a weapon like a lance.
The monster turned around towards Yami and Hana. But it didn't say anything or do anything to them. The monster then looked at them and that was when Yami and Hana saw that it had a mask and there were not even an eye on it.
The creature then looked at the half-dispersed monster and held out its hand. Absorbing the monster remains with a weapon on its right arm.
After it's done, the creature turned towards them once again and that was when Hana and Yami saw that the monster looked like it was barely clothed. It is just wearing an armor around its waist and a mask. They could see its muscular body, but it's like it was made of iron.
The creature didn't say anything and it then held up its lance and stabbed it hard on the ground. It then caused an opening on the ground and as it opened, they could see an underground light and even a light from like a lava under it. The creature was flying and it then stood above the hole. It then released something like an energy from the device that it absorbed the monster from before to the the underground.
Hana was thinking that the monsters were planning something that she quickly held out her hand and cast an attack towards the creature.
The creature saw it, but it didn't move or defend itself. It just looked towards it and as Hana's attack was about to hit it, suddenly all of that magic got disappeared. It looks like it has disappeared and been teleported into another direction. But it was another dimension.
The creature then says to them.
"Unknown entity confirmed. Activating the full defense protocol. Level 500."
Suddenly something came out from the ground. It doesn't have a leg, but it looks like it was attached to the ground. It climbs out of the ground and spreads its wing. The head is like a mecha dinosaur and its body is like a dragon.
The creature let the monster activate slowly, and it then disappeared into another dimension. It has gone by absorbing itself into another dimension.
Yami and Hana then looked at the big figure monster and they then slowly stood up as Hana healed up Yami's body. Yami then looked at Hana and asked her "Just when and how did this kind of thing happen? Hana, thanks."
As they stood up together, Hana then told Yami that there's no need to think of her because of it's not the time yet. It just made Yami laugh and Yami then looked at the monster ahead of them as it slowly awoke.
Yami could feel that this it was no joke. So they might need to take this seriously. To find a way to get out of there. Even if there's no possibility to do so. Hana and Yami then get ready to face the newly appeared monster.
Hana cast a magic that created a lot of sharp ice crystals that circled around the monster. All of it then was charged into the monster that caused every part that got hit by that to leave a burned mark on it. Revealing some of its meat beneath. Yami saw that chance and then he quickly decided to dash towards the monster.
Yami began to attack the monster body with a weapon that was empowered by Hana. All the hits from that weapon did weaken the monster's defense. But its scales are still hard and the monster even tries to hit Yami using its arm.
While fighting, Yami realized that he can still feel the heat from the underground. It feels that it was too hot that it could even melt them down if they ever get near it or touch it.
That then just made Yami make a distance back a bit as he saw that. But if he was that far, then how would he beat the monster with a close-range weapon?
Hana, who was watching from afar, saw that Yami was struggling with that, and she then began to think of a way to help Yami out. As she saw, almost everything that the monster uses and has ability is things that relate to the heat or fire. But with its strength and movement, it looks like a ground or crusher monster.
Then to fight a fire. Does she need water? That ice attack from before did have an effect on the monster. Then does it mean she needs to fight with the elements?
The monsters is skinned like dinosaurs or dragons. As far as she knows, she didn't think that kind of skin can hold a cold. That's why the ice attack from before was kind of effective.
Hana then looked at the heated ground and realized that she could just cool it down. But she didn't think a normal water spell could cool it down. Because she was so sure that it would all dried down as it reached the lava.
But the water from the melted ice was before. Seems to be like effective to it. Is it because of the cold?
That was when did Hana remembered something and an idea came out of her mind. So she then quickly cast another ice spell on the monster. Creating even more ice crystals and striking it on the monster.
The monster could run away from there since it was attached to the ground. So it should've been able to run away from that attack.
But then they saw the monster spread its wing and suddenly a massive amount of shockwave got cast by the monster and destroyed all those ice crystals. Yami was able to save himself from the shockwave as he was able to run. But seeing that attack just shocked him.
Did the monster still have something else to give them? Yami didn't get hit by that shockwave. But he wondered if he should be able to survive the shockwave that way.
Hana just couldn't believe it, but she then tried her best by casting a spell of magic and ice on the monster to weaken it down. Yami saw that and he then rushed into the monster and tried to weaken it down.
Yami saw that Hana was shooting some of the ice to the ground in front of him. Maybe it was for him to step on it and get closer to the monster. Yami got the sign and he then stepped onto the ice platform before it melted and got close to the monster.
As Yami lands a hit on the monster, he quickly switches to another platform as he knows that the platform can't hold for a long time. Because of it, it is melting. The monster's skin is hard. But he should continue to do his best.
Hana cast the platform that Yami can walk on, and she also cast a spell that shot out water on the monster and made it hard to move.
Yami saw that Hana was slowly creating a platform that was circling around the monster body. Also, with the water spell that she cast that is currently coating the monster, it then caused the ice platform to somehow expand and hit more places. Yami was thinking that maybe Hana was trying to freeze the monster down. So he will just continue and hit the monster using his weapon.
"Ching!"
"Skraak!"
His attack did leave a scratch on the monster and Yami could see its meat. Yami was so sure that the weapon Hana just gave him was powerful enough to take that monster down. But just how long will it take to defeat such a monster?
But they shouldn't give up yet. So Yami then kept son attacking while following the ice platform created by Hana.
As Yami continued, he then saw that Hana was actually leading him to the monster wing. Yami looked at the monster wing and he then saw a pattern like a line that is connected to the back of the monster and there was even a mark that looked like a crystal. Yami was thinking that it might be the monster's weakness. So he then slid down from the monster wing to its body.
Yami stabbed his sword in the monster's wing as he was about to stop from sliding, and from there he then went to the monster's mark place while holding himself from falling.
Yami takes out a shotgun and then shot the monster's back head, and he uses the sword and slashes the monster's head before he drops off and tries to shoot the monster mark as it may lead to something.
Hana saw that and she then flew and caught a large size of ice crystal then amed for the monster head. They both then thought that this time it might work. As Yami was able to cut the opening on the monster mark. That somehow smoothed. The monster makes a noise and then bends down a bit, causing the crystal that Hana cast before to hit right on it.
