Kaelra slowly looked toward the door.
"So this is where we fight it?"
"Precisely."
Macaco nodded.
"You have already survived the trials. There is nothing else I can test you on. From this point onward, you will face the Twelfth Soul Current itself."
He paused before adding with an almost mischievous smile, "And I should probably mention that I have no intention of helping you."
Nobody seemed surprised by that. Macaco adjusted his glasses and took several steps backward.
"You may open the door whenever you're ready. There is no additional timer, no hidden requirement and no need to wait for anyone's permission."
His gaze swept across the exhausted Saints one final time.
"Recover your strength. Discuss your strategy. Say your farewells if you feel the need."
He smiled.
"Once that door opens, however, there is no going back."
With that, Macaco gave us a polite bow.
"I wish you all the very best of luck."
His body shimmered.
