The battle had already begun. The Dawnbringers assaulted the demonic encampment from three directions: east, west, and south.
Explosions shook the wasteland as the three attacking forces smashed through the outer defenses and pushed deeper into the enemy camp.
As for the remaining northern side, it remained strangely quiet. It was the furthest point from the Dawnbringers' position. For any unit to reach it, they would first need to circle around the enormous demonic encampment.
Such a large movement would immediately be noticed. The demons would have more than enough time to intercept them. It was not a feasible maneuver.
That said, the Dawnbringers' plan required every escape route to be sealed. Their objective was not merely to breach the camp. They intended to herd the scattered Demonic Legions toward the center. That would be impossible if the northern gate remained open, providing an escape route for the enemies.
