Chapter 25 - Fixing the Raise Body Heat Technique

(Reon's Pov)

"You watch this now." Master El told me as he activated the Raise Body Heat Technique again.

I can see it all with my Kinshi Sense.

The Raise Body Heat technique made his energy explode from his core like a bursting volcano causing him to temporarily gain immense power, however the heat did not emit from his body, causing his insides to suffer extra wear from the heat.

This is the fatal flaw of the master's technique.

But. . . there is a solution to this problem!

If master El could use Flame Magic like Roland and Richard, his body would not be burned from the inside from using the technique anymore, since Roland and Richard were immune to their own flames.

"Master I have to tell you something." said Reon.

I explained my theory based on my experience with flame magic weilders and he found it intriguing.

(3rd Person Pov)

"If that is true that would solve the only problem with the Raise Body Heat technique, and raise its power index rating." smiled Raqm'El.

"Power Index Rating?" asked Reon.

"You don't know? The International Power Index is what dictates the Star Rating system. Star level corelates to Risk level, and the Power index is what determines how risk levels are classified." Raqm'El explained.

"The Raise Body Heat Technique is 5-Star technique, but if it's drawbacks were erased, it would no doubt be higher that that."

"I see, so then, what is the highest star rating?" Reon asked curiously.

Raqm'El smiled.

"8-Star is the highest rating there has ever been, and those who are given 8-Stars are considered, gods by some, and myths by others." Raqm'El explained.

Reon was amazed at this information.

"7-Stars have existed throughout history." said Raqm'El. " But are also largely considered legends due to how rare they are."

Reon learned that the figures like the Warrior King of Akram and the Mage King of Daimo are at 6-Stars.

"So who do you believe is the most powerful master?" Reon asked.

"I believe that their are 7-Stars and 8-Stars living today and that their are levels even beyond that that humans can't reach. The level of the gods." said Raqm'El.

"That is very interesting. Alright I'm excited now. Lets get back to training!" said Reon.

Reon would hold off on using the Raise Body Heat Technique for now to avoid self harm, but Raqm'El continued to train Reon on other martial arts techniques.

Raqm'El's home nation, Alecazar, was ahead of most countries technologically but not as much as Evos by a long shot.

Reon learned that Alecazar was the architectural marvel of the world, being home to massive underground cities in the desert.

Within the large crowded underground cities people developed the habit of fast paced movements from building to building, as well as stealth techniques to avoid being captured.

Raqm'El came from a well to do martial clan and was trained in martial arts from a young age.

Reon quickly adapted to all of Raqm'El's clans teachings becoming a full fledged disciple of the El clan through Raqm'El.

Reon was impressed with how quickly he learned all of Raqm'El techniques.

He learned Knife throwing, movement techniques for speed and stealth, and most importantly the raise body heat technique.

This took 3 weeks.

Back at Wolf's Wooden Mansion now.

"How do you feel Reon?" asked Wolf.

"I've become more well rounded as a warrior." said Reon.

"I agree. He's improved immensely." said Raqm' El to Wolf. "I think it is time for you to teach him all you can. As for me I will go to Daimo in hopes to learn flame magic to evolve the Raise Body Heat Technique further."

"So you're leaving now?" said Reon.

"Yes, but I hope to see you again soon my disciple, I'm glad I was able to pass on my techniques to young man like you." said Raqm'El with a bow.

"I am also grateful for all that you've taught me Master." said Reon, who bowed with gratitude and respect to his teacher.
