"Idiot," Gray said.
"Shut up, fire dragon," Gajeel said.
"You two, stand still!"
"Yes!"
"Erza is very strict," Edo Mirajane said.
The Edolas guild laughed.
Such strong monsters are our friends.
"Chase. You have a plan for Edolas, do you not?" Erza asked.
She was not tired. Her armor was clean.
Gildarts was the same. He had spent most of the fight showing off for his daughter.
"The young ones need to grow," he said.
"There is a plan. But it depends on Mystogan and the others."
Chase stood up. He looked at the Edolas guild. And the scared soldiers.
He had told them how dangerous the God Realm mages were. If they were too scared to fight, there was no point.
"Edolas is my home. I will protect it, even if I die," Mystogan said.
"Same," Lily said.
The Edolas guild was not sure. They just wanted to survive.
"Do not look so sad. If the world ends, there is nothing."
Edo Lucy spoke. "Chase is going to help. Are you worse than him?"
They were still unsure. But being compared to Chase made them angry.
"He is not our Chase. But I still hate losing to him."
Edo Jet and Edo Droy were angry.
Others joined in. Even the soldiers.
"We will follow the prince! Protect Edolas!"
"Aye~ She is cool," Happy said.
He looked at Edo Lucy. Then at Lucy.
"Shut up!" Lucy said.
"Do not lose to yourself," Erza said.
Lucy tried to be like Edo Lucy. Then she gave up.
"That would never happen."
"Poor Lucy," Wendy said.
"Ah ha. Ahahaha," Lucy laughed.
Chase smiled. He had expected this.
He told them his plan.
First, build a teleportation device in the southern continent. To send help to Face quickly.
Edo Chase could do it. He had built the guild's teleporter.
Face had enough power to run it.
Keep the Anima in the capital. So they could call Chase from Earthland.
A three-way link. Earthland. The capital. Face.
To be safe, Chase would give them the blueprints for Nirvana Lite. It could detect good and evil. It could warn them of invaders.
In return, Edolas would give him all the information on Anima.
That was the excuse. He really wanted to fight the God Realm mages. For new cards.
And it could be a training ground for the guild.
He did not talk about Elentear. Or the Moon Dragon God. Or the Heartfilia family.
Not yet.
"He looks like Natsu. But he thinks things through," Gildarts said.
So this is why the master wants him to be the next master.

Chase felt the same way.
"He just wants to fight," Lucy whispered to Happy.
"And Gildarts is the same."
"Aye~ Gildarts! Lucy is talking about you!"
"Eh?!"
Lucy bowed. "Sumimasen! Hontou ni sumimasen!"
