In this world of millions, with the clock ticking ceaselessly, there are always many unknown sparks and coincidences.
For example, two people, a man and a woman, share the same hobbies and similar habits.
Watch the same movie until they fall asleep.
When they get up and wash, they habitually brush their tongues first.
Breakfast is always toast with milk.
They must watch the same morning children's cartoon while eating breakfast.
Then they finish at roughly the same time and leave the house almost simultaneously.
The man leaves heading west to east, the woman leaves heading east to west.
When they arrive at the base of a building, they come from around the left and right corners, respectively.
However, just as they are about to cross paths, on the verge of a memorable and wonderful encounter, a handsome man walks out of the building's revolving glass door and accidentally bumps into the woman coming from east to west.
Thus, this potentially fateful encounter is interrupted.
These are the coincidences that could be happening every moment in the world.
They might be good things… they might be bad things.
Zizhu is a Gourmet Hunter, Pianno is a Music Hunter.
They are both at Pakari Forest Park, invited by the organizers.
The park is a place for leisure for the affluent. To experience a bit of natural living, one must first pay a hefty fee.
It's not that all the park's guests are from the wealthy or noble class, but the sheer numbers make it significant.
Thus, the park's revenue is considerable. The founder isn't a fool, so while earning high revenue, he's also willing to reinvest the profits to enhance guest satisfaction, forming a virtuous cycle.
As Pro Hunters, Zizhu and Pianno were invited to create a dream dinner for the park's guests, combining music and cuisine.
The event was actually scheduled for tonight, but who would have thought a horde of monsters would attack?
Fortunately, Law intervened and wiped out those monsters, otherwise, only a few in the park would have escaped successfully.
Although it was a close call, at least they didn't lose their lives there.
Pianno's first thought was still his beloved, destroyed violin.
He wanted to return to the park quickly to retrieve the violin's remnants. Who knew a casual remark would lead to Law's series of questions?
Originally, they would have parted ways within the next few seconds, perhaps never crossing paths again in their remaining lives.
But a single heartfelt murmur quietly changed that.
The Dark Sonata...
Though it's a legendary score, its reputation isn't great, symbolizing inauspiciousness and disaster.
Hesitating a bit, Pianno decided not to voluntarily mention anything about the violin solo movement. He said, "As a Music Hunter, one goal is to obtain the legendary score. But that score is legendary-level after all, it's not easy to get."
Hearing this, Law didn't comment but stared intently at Pianno.
He had noticed the brief hesitation earlier.
'He's hiding something.'
Under Law's gaze, beads of sweat slid down Pianno's cheeks.
After staring for a moment, Law suddenly said, "I'm looking for the Dark Sonata's violin solo movement."
Pianno didn't want to bring it up, but Law mentioned it first, making Pianno's expression change involuntarily. His acting skills weren't great to begin with, so when questioned like this, he immediately showed his hand.
Seeing Pianno's reaction, a thread of hope unconsciously rose in Law's heart. He continued, "Actually, aside from the violin solo movement, the other three are in my possession."
"Impossible!"
Pianno blurted out.
Leaving aside the difficulty of obtaining the Dark Sonata's movements, if someone had gathered three Dark Sonata's movements, there's no reason it wouldn't cause a sensation in the circles.
Zizhu was clueless about the Dark Sonata, finding it hard to integrate into and understand Law and Pianno's conversation.
In contrast, Kuro watched the two with great interest.
"Why are you so certain?" Law asked Pianno, quite curious.
Pianno also realized his reaction was a bit excessive, making his heart beat faster involuntarily.
'Damn it, why hadn't I thought of practicing some composure before? Or at least practice keeping a straight face. I didn't aim for any particular level, just to reach Zizhu's level would suffice.'
Beside them, Zizhu, unable to relate to the conversation, didn't know Pianno had just subtly insulted him.
"Be-because, the difficulty of finding each Dark Sonata movement could be considered A-rank. To gather three sounds incredible," Pianno said very unnaturally.
"Indeed, those are things you encounter by chance, not by searching. If you deliberately look, you might spend ten years without finding even one."
Law nodded slightly, then stared intently at Pianno. He said seriously, "When I found the first Dark Sonata movement, it was full of surprises. When I looked for the second one, no matter how hard I searched, I couldn't find even a trace of a clue."
"But one day, I encountered it without any psychological preparation."
"Later, when I needed the third Dark Sonata movement, I didn't deliberately search for it anymore. Then one day, it came to me on its own."
With each sentence Law spoke, the sweat on Pianno's face increased.
'He really gathered three Dark Sonata movements...'
Such achievement is too exaggerated. It's practically the dream accomplishment for every Music Hunter.
"It's been nearly twenty years, from finding the first Dark Sonata movement until now."
Saying this, many scenes seemed to flash before Law's eyes.
He paused, relaxed his tone, and said calmly, "You can understand, right? Like a card collection game, only the last card is needed to complete the set. That incredibly strong sense of need."
"So, if you have any clues about the violin solo movement, please tell me."
Pianno's eyes trembled slightly, speechless for a moment.
After a while, he let out a heavy breath, accidentally aggravating his injuries, making him frown in pain.
He looked at Law and said, "Actually, the violin solo movement is with me."
This solo movement was actually passed down to him by his deceased father.
Hearing this, Law looked surprised, a glimmer of joy surfacing deep in his eyes.
He thought obtaining relevant clues would be good enough, so he didn't expect the last movement to be in Pianno's hands.
This way, as long as he got the movement from Pianno, he would have collected all the Dark Sonata movements.
Although his need for the numerical value was already met, he still wanted to know what would happen if all four movements were played together.
"Are you willing to part with it? Name your price," Law instinctively took a step forward, revealing a hint of excitement.
Pianno's eyes flickered, finding it hard to decide for the moment.
