I teleported right in front of the Grand Priest and removed my cloak. A look of shock flashed across his face as he stumbled back a few steps. He recovered quickly, his expression hardened into anger.
"I heard you declared war on me." I said.
I raised my hand and sent a ball of brilliant light high into the sky. This time I made it far brighter than the sun. Everyone winced, groaning in pain, and shielded their eyes from the blinding light.
In that time, I disarmed everyone near the Grand Priest and formed invisible walls of air to keep everyone else away. The men in shiny plate armor frantically looked around for weapons that were no longer in their hands.
The sphere continued rising, bathing the city in sparkling white light. Only when it was high enough that people could squint without pain did I speak again.
"Surrender to me, unconditionally." I said, staring at the Grand Priest. "And I will spare your life."
"Kill him!" The Grand Priest shouted, his voice loud and urgent.
