Eros, apparently realizing where he was, froze.
Jade immediately looked away. Not because he wanted to respect Eros's privacy. He did not want the man to realize that he had just witnessed whatever that was. His shoulders shook. For a few seconds, he struggled to keep his face straight.
The image of the former Bravo Team captain, who was usually calm and collected, awkwardly circling through a revolving door like a confused child was far too ridiculous.
Jade pressed his lips together. Then, he heard the door turn again. He looked back and saw Eros enter again. This time, he couldn't hold it in. A snort escaped him.
Eros clearly stiffened. Then, slowly, his head turned in Jade's direction. His eyes widened a bit when he saw Jade making his way to him. He felt the need to escape, scared to be affected and lose control of himself again.
However, before he could lift another foot, Jade had already spoken.
