Closing the panel, Seimei took some time to get accustomed to his newly evolved Ice Release.
Once he was certain it wouldn't go out of control, he formed hand signs and cast the "Multiple Shadow Clone Technique," creating 800 shadow clones to begin a new round of training.
However, this round lasted only half a month before he stopped.
The reason? After nearly four months of practice, he'd gained new insights into fusing the seven chakra nature transformations.
This realization forced him to rethink the number of shadow clones he assigned to developing the Bloodline Net.
And this wasn't a minor tweak.
Based on his instincts, he'd broken through some kind of bottleneck.
Moving forward, practicing the fusion of the seven chakra natures could no longer rely on sheer quantity. Instead, it had to focus on quality.
By "quantity," he meant creating a massive number of shadow clones to train simultaneously.
But clearly, that approach wouldn't allow him to deeply explore the fusion of the seven chakra natures—it was just scratching the surface.
Maybe that worked before, but not anymore. He needed to dive deeper into the fusion process.
And to do that, he had to reduce the number of shadow clones working on the Bloodline Net, ensuring each clone had more chakra to work with.
That was what he meant by "quality."
But how many clones to reduce to? That required careful testing.
With this in mind, Seimei cast the "Multiple Shadow Clone Technique" again, creating 700 shadow clones.
Of those, 300 continued absorbing natural energy as usual.
The remaining 400 began attempting a deeper practice of fusing the seven chakra natures.
Yes, he'd cut 100 clones at once to see if that would meet his needs.
But an hour later, after recalling all the clones and absorbing their training experiences and memories, he frowned slightly.
The results had improved, but they still fell short of his expectations.
After some thought, Seimei cast the "Multiple Shadow Clone Technique" again.
This time, he reduced the total to 600 clones.
Half—300—focused on absorbing natural energy, while the other 300 worked on developing the Bloodline Net.
Watching the clones disperse, Seimei continued his training.
Another hour passed.
He finished a round of the "Limit of the Body" technique and returned to Moon Island. Once there, he dispelled the "Multiple Shadow Clone Technique," recalling all the clones.
A flood of memories poured into his mind.
Seimei closed his eyes, sorting and storing the returned chakra and natural energy before sifting through the memories.
Time ticked by.
About fifteen minutes later, he'd fully digested the training experiences contained in the memories.
Compared to before, his gains had indeed increased slightly.
But they still didn't match his expectations.
Seimei began to wonder if he'd misjudged his approach.
After mulling it over for a while, he was certain he hadn't.
So, he reduced the number of clones by another 100, bringing the count of those working on the Bloodline Net down to 200—100 fewer than those absorbing natural energy.
But an hour later, when he recalled the clones and absorbed their experiences and memories, the results still fell short.
Now, he was genuinely stumped.
Instead of blindly reducing the number of clones further, Seimei decided to thoroughly review his previous actions.
Time passed slowly.
About half an hour later, it hit him.
When he'd increased the number of clones before, he'd added them in batches of 50 or 100, and now he was reducing them in the same increments out of habit.
But in reality, to deeply practice fusing the seven chakra natures, he needed at least several hundred thousand chakra points per clone.
After all, those who mastered the Bloodline Net's power typically had massive chakra reserves.
For a shadow clone to simulate that, a measly 10,000 or 20,000 chakra points wouldn't cut it.
Even if he reduced the Bloodline Net clones to just one, splitting his chakra with the 300 clones absorbing natural energy would mean each clone had no more than 30,000 chakra points.
That was nowhere near enough to meet his expectations.
So, moving forward, he needed to separate the clones absorbing natural energy from those developing the Bloodline Net, just like when he trained for Sage Mode.
And the number of clones working on the Bloodline Net had to be low.
"That's it!" Seimei thought, growing more convinced.
Without hesitation, he cast the "Multiple Shadow Clone Technique," first creating 300 clones to absorb natural energy.
Then, he tapped into the chakra stored in the interdimensional space at his forehead, refilled his reserves, and cast the technique again, creating 15 shadow clones.
Two and a half months ago, his "Chakra Refining Technique" had reached Level 8, greatly increasing his ability to tap into his potential.
Now, after over two months of accumulation, his chakra cap had broken past 8 million points.
With over 8 million chakra points split among 16 (himself plus the 15 clones), each had over 500,000 chakra points.
"That should do it," Seimei thought, waving the 15 clones off.
He refilled his chakra again, then used the "Flying Thunder God Technique" to teleport to the volcano beneath Moon Island, starting a new round of training.
An hour later, almost to the minute, he returned to Moon Island.
Without waiting for his body to recover, he dispelled the "Multiple Shadow Clone Technique," recalling all the clones.
Instantly, 315 memories flooded his mind, along with massive amounts of chakra and natural energy.
As usual, Seimei suppressed the memories, sorted and stored the chakra and natural energy, then began reviewing the memories.
Soon, the training experiences within them surfaced in his mind.
He focused, quickly absorbing and digesting the insights.
At first, it felt routine, but when he reached the memories of the clones working on the Bloodline Net, everything changed.
This time, he could clearly feel that his gains far surpassed anything before.
If he previously had no clear timeline for when he'd master fusing the seven chakra natures and wield the Bloodline Net's power, now he was certain.
At the earliest, three years. At the latest, five.
Three to five years might sound long, but it was nothing compared to the payoff.
The power of the Bloodline Net was worth every second.
